The pain in my neck felt more like a sting dug deep into my flesh. I gritted my teeth and warm hands wrapped around in a tight obsessive embrace nearly sending me to the floor.
The body behind me was tall and male but shorter than me, and his body clung to me like I was his lifeline and I gripped the hands that clung to me.
"Angel. What are you doing?"
I forced him to let me go and I turned around despite the stinging burn in my neck. Angel's eyes were dark and insane. "Marking what's mine."
I kept my hands on his wrist so he couldn't do anything to me and Angel didn't fight against me which made me feel relieved to some point but my guard was still high.
I arched my eyes. "I'm not yours. I never belonged to you."
Angel yanked his wrist away from me and slapped me hard on my cheeks catching me off guard. The sting in my cheeks nearly sent me into a rage but I held onto my temper and my vision turned blurry with fury.
"What the fuck?"
