Jay's POV
After a looooong drive and a lot of story telling, we reached papa's house which was situated a little far from the city cause papa liked a quite and peaceful place. Well, that was atleast before we arrived with a lot of chaos to unload😅😁.
Calling papa's place a house would be an insult! It was a mansion! A royal palace! Ofc it would be, it was built for a Mariano afterall😎
After spending a few moments being frozen in place outside the ' mansion ', we all went inside excitedly.
Papa: make yourselves at home kids.
That was all section e needed to hear before running all over the place to ' explore '.
The inside of the house was bigger than it looked from the outside. Honestly, I expected something grand and fancy after seeing the massive front yard, the big gate and the overall look from the outside but I was wrong. The decoration was....simple, not too shiny or fancy. The place felt less like a palace where u would feel suffocated and more like a warm, safe home.
Soon loud shouting of section e and the others filled the place.
Ci-n( peeking out from the kitchen ): hey guys, u have to look at this. This kitchen is massive! and there is soooo much food in this gigantic fridge.
Drew: Food. Where?
Denzel: hey don't start eating without me.
Jay: Guys, Behave!
Papa( chuckling ): it's alright jay. Let them be.
Ci-n( smiling ): thank u tito.
" oh, u kids r finally here "
We turned to see tita reycee standing near the doorway, smiling at us.
" Hello tita👋 "
Percy: Mom.
He said as he ran to hug tita.
Percy: I missed u mom.
Tita reycee( smiling ): I missed u too my handsome son.
Percy: Finally someone who compliments me. U have no idea how much they bullied me mom☹
Ci-n: she has to compliment u cause you're her son u brat.
Percy: Shut up shorty.
Ci-n: make me u uncircumcised brat.
Jay: Hey u two, don't start here!😠
Percy: he started it!
Ci-n: No u did by bringing up ur ugly face. Again!
Percy: see mom, they're bullying me again☹
Tita reycee( chuckling ): it's ok percy. Don't take it to heart. Look I made ur favourite food for you're arrival. Eat that before it gets cold.
Percy: yay! You're the best mom ever!😁🥳
He said and started eating his food while smiling like a child.
Can I get a replacement for this cartoon. How is he even the oldest among us all. He's brain is still that of a 5 year old.🤦♀️
Tita reycee: how was the flight jay.
She said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
Jay: uh it was fine tita.
Thyme( smirking ): yeah it was great tita. But I think jay might be a little more tired than us.
I shot him a warning glare while tita just chuckled.
Jay: he's lying tita, don't listen to him.
Papa: u all must be tired from ur flight. U should get some rest.
Rory: actually tito, we wanted to explore a little before going to sleep.
Rakki: yeah, we want to make the most of our time here.
Tony: it's not even night time yet. We can easily explore one or two places before coming back here.
Papa: ok then, if u guys r not too tired, we all can go out for a while.
Ci-n: I've already made a list of places we should visit.
Edrix: who made u the planner of the group.
Ci-n: I was unopposed so I got self appointed😌
Jay: u did the same thing when we went to the theme parks and it did not end well. U r officially fired from that position.
Mj( smirking ): u say that like u didn't enjoy ur time there.😏
Mason( grinning ): keifer definitely looked like he did.😝
Ci-n: See. That wouldn't have happened if I wasn't in charge and someone needs to plan out what we have to do so that we can get the ultimate experience😌
Jay( crossing her arms+ raising her brow ): a ghost got kicked and a skeleton got beheaded bcz of ur ' ultimate experience '.
Ci-n: That's collateral! And it wasn't my fault. U were the one who did that.
Jay: U were the one who suggested we go in that haunted mansion in the first place! I protested by noooo, u guys just had to go in there and dragged me with u.
Zia: well u did kinda enjoyed ur time there with keifer sooo, it was like a win-win situation.
Jay: Zia!
Zia: Don't ' Zia ' me. Just admit it girl, whenever ci-n self appointed himself as the manager of the group, u got to have more fun than all of us here.

We froze, then turned to find papa and tita smiling brightly while looking at us.

Papa( clearing his throat ): so what r ur plans children. Where do u want to go tonight.
We all went silent and glanced at each other, hoping someone would say something.
Ci-n: This is exactly why u guys need a planner and lucky for u, I came prepared.
He said and took out a paper with some names on it.
Percy: can't we just Google some places.
Aries: didn't u live here for years? Shouldn't u know about this place already.
Percy: I spent most of my time at home, hospital and at Mariano building. I wasn't allowed to go out much cause I wasn't fully healed.
Tita reycee: you're still not so take care of yourself ok.
Percy: Ik mom.
Ci-n( grabbing everyone's attention ): ok everyone, the first thing we have to do is go to the empire state building to see the sunset so let's go quickly before we miss it.
Freya: we'll go but first let's change. I'm not going out in my comfy clothes in New York. We need to look picture perfect.
Zia: I agree. Let's change first.
Ci-n: ok fine but don't take too long ok.
Edrix: ok but where exactly r we going to change?
Papa: ur rooms r upstairs. U can choose ur own rooms. There r about 20 rooms so u all can choose who u want to bunk with. And jay let me show u to ur room.
We all went upstairs and everyone started going through each room.
Ci-n: these rooms r massive.
Lia: and royal looking.
Percy: no one goes in my room!😠
Ci-n: Already am😆
Percy: come back here shortly.
Felix: just how many mirrors do u have percy.
Edrix: dayum! Did u steal all the mirrors in this mansion.
Percy: I didn't steal anything! I just love seeing my handsome face.
Mateo: this dude's too obsessed with himself.
Percy: ok that's it. Get out!
As they all continued to fight, papa took me down the hall on the left and opened a big door. My room was gigantic. Big enough to fit atleast 6 of my room back at kuya's house. It was decorated simply and basically had everything I could need.
Tita reycee: ur dad personally designed this room to fit ur needs.
Jay( hugging her papa ): thank u papa.
Papa( patting Jay's head ): no need to say thank u anak. It's a basic father duty.
Tita reycee: Now go change before u all get late.
With that, papa and tita left my new room. I quickly took out some clothes from my suitcase and went to go change and freshen up in my new massive bathroom.
After a few minutes, we all once again gathered in the living room and then went towards our cars and started driving towards our destination.
After a while we reached and made our way inside the empire state building. There was not a lot of people so we didn't have to wait in line for long.
Me, papa, tita reycee, aries, percy, keifer and felix were the first one's to ride the elevator to the top. After us the others also came. Once everyone came up, we went to the sides to look at the view and observe the sunset as well as the beautiful city lights and firework.
Jay: wow, look at this view😃
Percy: it's pretty but not more than me☺
Keifer( whispering to jay ): nothing's more pretty than u Mrs.Watson😏
I smacked his chest lightly.
Jay: don't start again. Everyone's here, including my papa.
Keifer( proudly ): So what? Nothing can stop me from making my wifey blush and for ur kind information, ur dad loves me😏
Jay( mumbling ): I'm not ur wifey.
Keifer( smirking ): Not yet, but will be when the time comes. Remember, you're mine....wifey😏
Jay( groaning ): Just....focus on the view ok.
Keifer: I already am. You're my view. The most amazing view in the whole universe.
Jay: I'm not talking about me, I'm talking about the view of New York. There's so many things here to see, don't u want to look at them with ur own eyes.
Keifer: ok then, I'll just look at them.....through the reflection from ur beautiful eyes😏
Jay( sighing ): I give up. Do whatever u want to do.
Keifer( smirking ): Really. Anything😏🌚
It took me a sec to understand what he was trying to say. Then I smacked his arm. Hard! He just chuckled in response.
Jay: Idiot!😠
Keifer( smirking ): What did u say?
Jay: r u deaf. I said Id-
I froze when I realized what he meant to say. His smirk widened. I quickly covered my mouth with my hands.
Jay: Nope. Not happening.
Keifer: then u shouldn't have said profanity.😏
Jay: we're in public keifer! Our friends and my family is all around us. My brothers will throw u off from here if u try to do anything!😤
Keifer( chuckling ): relax wifey. I'm not gonna do anything....for now. I'll just collect later😏
Jay( narrowing her eyes ): I don't trust u.
Keifer( lip biting+ looking up and down ): but u did this morning. In fact, u were enjoying it too. A little too much I might add😏😳🤭
I felt my cheeks heat up. Someone fan me, this ulupong is trying to melt me with his lines😫😖🤭
Jay: U....You're shameless!
Keifer( smirking ): only for u my queen😏
Mj: hey lovebirds, if u two r done flirting, join us for a group pic.

I said and walked away before keifer could come up with another pick up line that would make my face burn more brighter🔥
He followed close behind. We went to the others and took some group pics with the view in the background.
While we were busy make some goofy faces, the sun had almost set so we first watched the sunset🌇🌆 and then continued with making a fool out of ourselves.
After that we started chatting a bit and recorded the view for our socials. Then the fireworks started🎆🎇✨. We all stopped what we were doing and started looking at the fireworks with amazed, excited faces😃
After spending around 2 and a half hours on top of the empire state building we left there and went to another spot.

( Hey guys Ik I've been making u guys wait a lot but the thing is aside from my upcoming exams and my hectic schedule, I couldn't really focus on writing cause my nani was on deathbed and I literally just found out that she passed away😔😭🤧( my last grandparent also left😖😭 )...so I'm not really in a condition to write. I'll try my best to not let my personal life interfere with this book and try to post again in this week only but I can't really make any promises. I could only write this much bcz I'm really in the right mindset to write. Ik it's short but I I didn't want u guys to wait any longer so that's it for a little while. I'll be back as quick as possible with long chapters ok.
