Chapter 7 - Ch-7 "Scarlet Spacetime Rend"

Over a hundred years had passed. In the endless gloom of the Abyss, Veeryan's slow, deliberate steps echoed like a heartbeat in the void. His voice was hoarse, trembling with exhaustion and grim resolve."How much… how much time has gone by? I don't even know anymore…" he muttered, his words swallowed by the oppressive darkness. "This layer… it took me far longer to cross than the other two. So many innocent spirits… so many vile wraiths… all slain by my hand just to reach here. This place wasn't just vast—it was unending."

His eyes burned with old fury. "The Ghost Emperor sent countless guards to stop me. Each one fell. Now… only he remains. He will die. No… he will die now."

Veeryan rose from the ground, drifting upward into the heavy black air. His skin, torn and ravaged from centuries of battle, pulsed with agony before knitting back together under the surge of Eldricth Regeneration. The moment the wounds closed, his hands lifted slowly toward the void above.

Dozens of vast crimson formations—each like a portal carved with incomprehensible symbols—blossomed into existence. They spanned all three layers of the Abyss, their reach stretching from the deepest chasm to the gap above the first layer, sealing the realm in a cage of red light.

His voice was a whisper of destruction."Scarlet Spacetime Rend."

The formations blazed, releasing a surge of Eldricth force so immense it made the void tremble. Veeryan closed his eyes for a breath, then snapped them open—only to find the Ghost Emperor himself standing before him.

"So… we finally meet," Veeryan said.

The Emperor's tone was mocking yet regal. "A miracle you made it this far. If I am correct… you have done all of this with Eldricth's power—yes, Eldricth himself. Though the truth is that I am—"

But Veeryan never heard the end. The words were cut off as the Ghost Emperor locked eyes with him, a strange smile curling his lips. Without warning, the Emperor raised his arms, casting the exact same spell."Scarlet Spacetime Rend!"

Veeryan responded instantly, unleashing the same power again.

Reality convulsed—

—and then the scene shifted.

A dark realm stretched infinitely in all directions. No Abyss. No earth. No sky. No life. Nothing at all.

Nothing, except for a lone, disembodied voice echoing in the void. It was neither loud nor soft, neither near nor far, endlessly repeating in a chant that felt both holy and terrifying:"All hail the mighty Eldricth.""All hail the mighty Eldricth."Again.And again.Without end.
