Chapter 101 - Heaven-Breaking Tide

The Myriad Diversified Realm lay silent beneath a crimson sky.

The wars had ended.

The rivers of qi were calm once more.

But in that silence, Long Taiyi walked alone — a ghost that the world both feared and revered.

Three hundred years had passed since he turned his back on the East Sea.

In that time, he had crushed empires, shattered sects, and raised his sword against gods. His cultivation had soared to the Mid-Rank Middle Immortal Realm, and his sword intent had reached a level where even immortals trembled to sense it.

Yet the curse branded into his soul—the mark of the Blood God—still pulsed within him like a second heartbeat.

It forced him onward.

It devoured him.

And it pushed him closer to transcendence. He had long become powerful enough to conquer the entire realm as very few could challenge him.

At the heart of the realm, ten thousand immortals gathered beneath the fractured sky.

They stood against a single man dressed in white, his black hair bound loosely, a blindfold covering eyes that saw more than sight could grasp.

"Long Taiyi!" roared the Demon Lord of the Azure Abyss. "Hand over the Heavenly Mirror Core!"

Taiyi said nothing.

He simply lifted his sword.

"Heavenly Flowing Sword — Third Form: Twilight Severing the Stars!"

The world split in silence.

Stars fell like raindrops. Mountains folded. The sea itself retreated as if bowing before a monarch.

When the light faded, none stood against him.

Taiyi exhaled softly, blood trickling from his lips. The curse burned brighter, crimson sigils crawling up his arms. His voice was hoarse, yet resolute:

"Even if I must tear through the heavens themselves… I will break you."

The mark pulsed, answering with laughter that only he could hear.

"Rise, little dragon. Only a Supreme Immortal may unbind the Blood God's chain."

Centuries passed as Taiyi's legend grew.

He climbed sacred mountains, crossed the Sea of Clouds, and faced beasts born of ancient chaos.

Each battle tempered his will and his blade.

At last, he stood before the Celestial Gate, guarded by nine heavenly bolts.

He raised his sword, his body trembling, but his gaze unshaken.

"Sword of Samsara — Heaven Severing Stroke!"

Nine thunders fell.

Nine thunders broke.

And Taiyi, covered in his own blood, ascended into the Heavenly Realm.

There, amidst the brilliance of divine light, the curse shattered—and memories he had buried beneath endless cultivation began to flood back.

The warmth of a woman's smile.

The cry of a newborn child.

The fall of a phoenix in flames.

"Feng Jiu… Ling'er…" he whispered as he fell to his knees.

The outer realm....

Far away, in the newly freed Fire Realm, a storm of flames engulfed the sky.

The seal imprisoning the phoenix clan had finally crumbled.

From within the sacred volcano emerged Feng Jiu, her aura blazing with ancient power.

Her wings unfolded, casting light across the realm.

Her voice echoed like a divine decree.

"Rise, my people. The Phoenix Clan has returned. It is now our time to rise again to the level of divine beasts."

Yet beneath her regal calm, Feng Jiu's heart ached.

Fragments of memory stirred—blood, loss, and a child's cry swallowed by the chaos of war.

Years later, on the edge of the Ember Valley, a young cultivator stood before a burning ruin.

Her silver eyes reflected the flames with confusion and grief. She was no longer the same girl who had been separated from her parents years ago.

She has now grown stronger and more beautiful. If one stared at her one would see the close resemblance she and Feng Jiu shared.

Her name was Tie Ling.

She had fought through countless realms, rising as a prodigy whose sword could cut through space itself.

But in this place—once the stronghold of the Myriad Realm. A place that she rarely visited as it was at this point that the seal that her father had placed on the heavenly realm could be seen—she saw something that froze her blood.

A woman of pure fire walked through the inferno, untouched by its heat.

Her crimson robes shimmered with immortal light, and her face…

Her face was one that Tie Ling had seen die. She had long to travel back to time to stop that event. She couldn't believe it.

"No…" Tie Ling whispered, stepping backward, her sword trembling. "You—You can't be her. I saw you die before my eyes… in the war of the Outerworld!"

The woman turned. Her gaze met Tie Ling's, and for a brief heartbeat, time stopped.

The two stared at each other—one in disbelief, the other in shock.

The world around them faded into silence.

Feng Jiu's lips parted. "That sword… the pendant you wear—where did you get them?"

Tie Ling's hand instinctively reached for the jade pendant hanging around her neck.

"It was… given to me by senior uncle. He said it belonged to my mother."

The phoenix flames around Feng Jiu trembled violently.

Her heartbeat echoed in her ears.

"Your mother…" she whispered, voice cracking. "What… so you are indeed her?"

Tie Ling hesitated, her throat tight. "My mom was the phoenix queen but she has long diedIsaw it. It's impossible. My mother—she died. I saw her burn into nothing."

Tears welled in Feng Jiu's eyes. She took a trembling step forward, her hands quivering.

"Ling'er… My child."

The pendant glowed between them, reacting to both their auras. A soft hum filled the valley, and memories—long buried—flooded Tie Ling's mind.

The laughter of a woman holding her.

The warmth of wings sheltering her from flames.

A man's voice saying, "Protect her, Bo. No matter the cost."

Tie Ling fell to her knees, shaking.

"Mother…?"

Feng Jiu knelt beside her and pulled her into an embrace.

Neither spoke.

The flames around them rose high into the sky, burning away centuries of pain.

As dawn broke, mother and daughter stood together at the edge of the valley.

Tie Ling wiped her tears, looking toward the heavens. "If you're truly my mother… then th I've been searching for father all my life. If you are back does that mean that he is also alive?"

Feng Jiu smiled faintly, her fiery wings folding behind her. "Yes. Your father I believe is still alive after all Ican still feel his presence so he must be somewhere."

Far above, in the Heavenly Realm, a single figure stood upon the clouds, his sword sheathed, her eyes turned toward the mortal world.

A faint smile touched her lips. "The winds have changed. The threads of fate… are converging once more."

If Taiyi was there he would've recognised the woman as the peace goddess- his mother
