It was eight a.m.
Choda was awake on the game again, seemingly bored.
"Man lemme see if dude got a fourth yet".
He picks up his phone and calls Aston.
"Before you ask again, no I haven't found a fourth yet. I'm having a hard time finding another. Just see if your mom has connections she used to be a hero after all".
Aston says immediately after answering the call.
"Dude im not gonna bug my mom about this, she probably won't even know anyone that can join".
Aston lets out a heavy breath before speaking again.
"Choda if you dont go ask, your mom probably has connections to people that are actually strong so might aswell try okay".
Choda hangs up the phone on Aston frustrated and annoyed.
"Ight fine then".
Choda heads down to the forst floor of his house to see his mom cooking some food.
"Ma".
"Whats up partner".
His mother replies.
"So Aston was wondering since you used to be a hero do you by chance have any connections that know anyone who'd wanna join a quad".
His mom chuckles as she cuts onions.
"See i knew it was gonna be some hero stuff. If your gonna make a quad you better get some reliable people. But I'll look and see if I can find anyone around your age as long as you promise me this".
"Promise you what".
"I want you to promise me your gonna leave me alone whenever im sleep or cooking boy".
She says before picking up a rag and hitting him with it playfully.
Choda covers his head laughing.
"Alright I will, I was thinking what if I made my hero name in the future the prince of the forest or something".
His mom looked at him while thinking about it.
"I mean you could if you want, but you dont have to have a name similar to mines".
"Alright I'll just keep thinking then".
"Okay go to your room now food ain't ready I want peace".
Choda runs back upstairs quickly with a huge smile across his face.
The next morning, choda awakes to the sound of his door slamming shut before jumping up in his bed.
Am I tweaking?
He thinks to himself before getting out of bed. He walks over to his door and locks it before looking outside.
"Man the sun barely even out yet".
He glances at his PC to see there's a note taped to the screen.
"Huh, its my mom's handwriting".
He says while rubbing eyes.
"Go to 11732 Shirley Temple Way. You can find your teammate there. Xoxo".
Choda reads to himself still tired.
"Ill go in a couple hours".
Choda yawns as he puts the note on his keyboard as he goes back into his bed.
Hours later, Choda is walking on a sidewalk in a neighborhood using a GPS on his phone. 11732 Shirley Temple Way is the address in the GPS.
"Alright, so this is it then".
He says stopping infront of a house.
Choda walks up to the door before raising his hand.
Knock knock knock.
He hears the door unlock several times before someone finally opens the door.
Why so many locks.
Choda thinks to himself while letting out a slight chuckle.
A teenager seemingly around his age opens the door, he was a slightly pale boy around chodas height. His right eye had a beautiful purple pupil.
"Who are you?".
The boy asks.
"So I was actually sent here so ion think you'll know me".
Choda responded.
"Then who sent you idiot?".
Choda looked at him with a confused look.
"What you just say to me?".
"You heard me idiot, who sent you?".
The boy stepped out the house now standing infront of choda.
"What you gonna do about it scrawny cuck".
SMACK!!
Choda smacked the boys face as hard as he could. The boy stumbled back and held his cheek.
He looked up at choda eyes wide looking almost suprised.
"What's going on?".
A woman's voice asks from inside the house.
Choda looks in the house trying to see who it is squinting his eyes. Just then he saw something flying at his face. Something round, white, small.
An egg?
He asked himself in his head.
