Chapter fourty-three
Let's shift our focus onto a fading star. A boxer who started off amazing and strong... but now weak and pitiful. Renjiro.
It's been a couple weeks since Renjiro started his training that consists of breaking guards and defense. While gaining power. But his coach Eiji is a defensive coach not a offense coach.
But that didn't stop Renjiro. He wants to prove the gym he's just as strong as Aito.
Renjiro got on the heavybag.
Eiji: "come Ren more! You got gas filling that tank!"
Eiji yelled as Renjiro as already tired.
Then Renjiro was jogging up the mountain path near the outskirts of the School, his legs pained his breathing was unstable and his stamina gone. But that's when he seen a figure that looked like him running up the hill no problem not even on the path.
Renjiro pushed up and started running even if his body yelled he pushed and that little moment sparked his training.
Later he was in a spar with Aito dancing and moving around while poping jabs.
Aito: "stay still!"
Aito said as he chased Renjiro who was still fired up and full stamina by round four of dancing while Aito was panting for Air.
Aito: "yeah. Your beating him."
Aito said grinning.
Renjiro jumped out the ring hitting the speed bag with immense speed and flash as he wasn't tired.
Eiji: "I don't know dante he just evolved one day I swear!"
Eiji said watching his student break from his shell.
Dante: "he's strong now Eiji. Strong."
Dante said as Renjiro finished the speed bag finally sitting to rest.
Lucas: "man I haven't seen Renjiro this pumped since last time he challenged for the C class belt!"
Aito: "did he win?"
Aito asked.
Lucas: "nah. José beat him last time and got the belt."
Lucas said picking his ear.
Aito: "they fought before?"
Aito asked.
Lucas: "oh yeah. Though Renjiro lost round 2 by tko."
Lucas laughed.
Aito: "I hope he wins."
Aito said wondering.
Lucas: "yeah. Let's hope."
Lucas said as they watched Renjiro.
The days passed and it was finally time for Renjiro vs José 2.
Announcer: "ladies and gentlemen welcome to the B class arena where two meet once more! Renjiro vs José 2! Renjiro weighed in at 122 and José at 126 at the weigh in today."
Renjiro sat in the locker room.
Coach Eiji: "breath. And save your energy."
Cosch Eiji said as Renjiro was in his gear already.
Announcer: "ladies and gentlemen welcome Renjiro Imai! With a record of 13-4-1! A checkered record but filled with excitement! Standing at 5'9!"
The Announcer said as Renjiro walked into the ring.
Coach eiji: "you nervous?"
Coach eiji asked.
Renjiro: "a little."
Renjiro said laughing.
Coach eiji: "show him your not the same Gassing out pig you used to be!"
Announcer: "in red José Eduardo! 20-0-2 all KO! Standing at 5'6!"
José walked into the ring and raised an arm.
Renjiro: "this is gonna be hard."
Renjiro said as the ref walked up to them.
Ref: "no low blows or headbutts including elbows, be fair and sportsman like."
The ref said as they touched gloves.
Ref: "box!"
The first bell rang.
Renjiro got on his toes and started moving as José got into a shell type defense staying flat footed.
Renjiro popped jabs at José guard throwing a couple hard straights as José countered back dropping him.
Ref: "down!"
But before the ref could count Renjiro stood up.
Renjiro: "you'll have to kill me to win."
Renjiro said laughing as he dashed in throwing impressive close range jabs and right hooks.
José: "get off me."
José threw a short uppercut stumbling Renjiro who dashed back in.
Renjiro: "(come on open up!)"
Renjiro said pulling José guard up and throwing a fast four hook combination to José chin which didn't effect him.
Renjiro: "hmph."
Renjiro kept throwing jabs and straights flicking each one like a whip after it lands.
Coach Eiji: "he's cut mini maxing!"
Coach Eiji said in shock as Renjiro was opening tiny cuts.
Then they clenched.
José: "Has mejorado a mi rival"
José threw a left hook dropping Renjiro again.
Ref: "one!"
Renjiro was up.
And the bell rang!
