Chapter Fifty-six
Aito's View.
Aito wakes up in never ending luscious fields of blue grass with some occasional bumps and endless pits that are giant and have water flowing in them.
Aito: "ugh..."
Aito sits up and looked around no one but a single tree with blue leafs that shades him from a normal sun. The sky also has clouds like a normal sky.
Aito: "my head... it's so foggy... what happened where am I?"
Aito stands up and looks around a cold breeze hits him as he started walking.
For a month he explores the area while learning about the pits that when he gets close to try to suck him in thankfully his demon form works and he can just run or fly away.
The next month he's there he learns to stay in demon form not to break from it. He can last about a week in demon form he used to only about an hour.
Month three and he's still around the tree waiting for Toruu or Kito to find him he's felt hunger or thirsty but it's gone by just eating a leaf from the tree.
Aito: "where are you Kito... Toruu..."
Aito said as he stayed near the tree.
Month four and the leafs started running out so he turned his shirt into a bag and stuffed the last 60 leafs into the bag and started walking didn't know where but somewhere.
Later as Aito walked he seen a shack that was knocked over but would work as shelter as it started raining. And strong winds blew.
Aito: "to bad I can't sense anyone's energy..."
Aito said as he rested in the shack.
Month five Aito kept traveling as he walked into the first alive village built on blue and green bricks the village people were normal people with just long pointy ram horns.
Aito walked up to one of the males who was carrying wood.
Aito: "if you don't mind where am I?"
Aito asked as the man looked at him confused.
Man: "Sir. Would you like a place to stay for the night?"
The man asked taking him straight to an inn.
Aito: "no I just wanna know where I am."
Aito said as he was rented a room and food for free.
Desk lady: "my lord."
Aito instantly knew something was up.
Aito: "what? No no. I'm just asking where I am."
Aito said as the man from before laughed.
Man: "what a joke my lord."
The man laughed as Aito stood up.
Aito: "im not joking."
Aito said as the man seemed fearful.
Aito: "no no. If you could it would be a big help knowing where I am and where to go to get out of this place."
Aito said as the man looked confused.
Man: "sir were on the top level of hell. The 'safe level' or as most people call it 'the valleys'. And to get out maybe just the old castle might still have a portal running."
The man said as Aito nodded.
Aito: "thanks. And if you could explain what I've been eating for the past couple days."
Aito said putting his custom bag on the table the leafs spilling onto the table.
Man: "n-no. You've been eating these?"
The man asked as Aito looked confused.
Aito: "yeah. They instantly fuel my body."
Aito said as the man looked shocked.
Man: "you've been eating-"
The lady shakes her head no.
Aito: "..."
Aito looked at them with confusion.
Aito: "I might aswell keep moving."
Aito said putting the bag and leafs on his back.
Man: "atlease stay a while. My lord."
The man asked as Aito reluctantly agreed after all wet hills weren't his type of comfort bed.
month six approached as Aito helped around the village carrying things, teaching them about earth and even helping build homes. But weirdly there was not a single child around even though he so many times went into houses and schools.
Aito: "(there's no one under the age of 20... why?)"
Aito pushed it off as he set off the leave the village.
Man: "It'll be a month but keep walking straight from here and you'll see a Gothic castle thats where the portal to earth is. Though no demon can go through."
The man said as aito started walking with his bag.
Lady: "why was lord Aamon so friendly this time?"
She asked.
Man: "dont forget he ate our kids."
The man said as the other villagers watched Aamon leave the village the tree aito ate off of is where the village kids are born. From a leaf to a low class demon and aito ate about 152 kids by now, and all the villagers seen aito in demon form 24/7.
Month seven approached as Aito found a bloody beaten up Kito.
Aito: "Kito!"
Aito Ran to him.
Aito: "kito are you Alive!"
Aito yelled as he started tending to Kito's wounds.
Month Eight Kito woke up healed from Aito.
Kito: "A-Aito?"
Kito asked as Aito laughed happily.
Aito: "I thought you were dead..."
Aito said as he helped Kito stand.
Aito: "the way home is close."
Aito said as he pointed to a Gothic castle covered in mist.
Kito: "oh great. Heh."
Kito said as he was able to stand.
