Chapter 56 - Truly the Most Wayward Rich Kid in History

"My eyes have been opened!"

"I realized I could do more for this world, besides making explosions!"

"Therefore, I've decided to immediately shut down Stark Industries' weapons manufacturing division, effective immediately!"

"Until I find a new direction for the company in the future, one I can accept and that aligns closely with the national interest."

On the platform, all eyes were watching.

Tony Stark solemnly faced everyone and announced this matter with a loud, resounding voice.

The scene erupted instantly.

Even through the television screen, Zhou Cheng could vividly feel just how "explosive" the atmosphere was.

Even seasoned news media professionals, who had witnessed all sorts of sensational events on the front lines, were stunned by Tony Stark's earth-shattering decision.

Good heavens.

This was a piece of news that would be considered a major event, something they might never encounter even after a lifetime in the news business.

"The weapons manufacturing division, closed just like that."

"Truly the most willful, super-rich second-generation heir ever!"

He shook his head slightly, sighing with emotion.

Zhou Cheng picked up the remote control and switched off the television with a snap.

Having watched the Marvel film series, he could guess what would happen next.

Even if, due to his interference, Tony Stark's First Generation Mark Armor wasn't completed, the blueprints were still finished.

The idea of producing Iron Man armor had already taken root.

And this was the key.

As Zhou Cheng had analyzed in his diary before.

The changes caused by his intervention this time would probably only affect Obadiah's path to becoming Iron Monger.

The plot developments surrounding Tony Stark should remain largely the same.

The only frustrating thing is that the iconic "I am Iron Man" scene likely won't happen.

Even if it does, it's anyone's guess when.

This will directly impact Zhou Cheng's stock market plan.

Originally, according to Zhou Cheng's plan, he would buy up Stark Industries stock when this scene occurred, after the playboy announced the closure of the weapons manufacturing division.

But now?

"Oh well!"

"Let it be!"

After some deliberation, Zhou Cheng made this decision.

Because of his interference, the butterfly effect had created uncertainty in the established future, thus putting the stock plan at risk.

It was better to give up altogether.

After all, Zhou Cheng was already a super-rich man worth ten small goals! The desire to gain wealth by manipulating stocks had also been reduced to a minimum.

He shook his head, not wanting to think about these messy things anymore.

Zhou Cheng went to the kitchen and "dabbled" to make a lunch to solve his hunger.

"Has that Stark guy gone crazy?"

"Did he get his brain fried in that cave?"

"The biggest weapons manufacturer in America, and they decide not to make weapons anymore? What a bunch of morons!"

Before he'd even finished his meal, Deadpool, Wade Wilson, was back in front of Zhou Cheng.

He immediately launched into a tirade, ripping into Tony Stark.

In the eyes of someone like Wade Wilson, who was a bit of a mystery, Tony Stark was probably completely insane.

"Make yourself comfortable, I'll finish eating first."

Zhou Cheng was already used to Deadpool, and didn't even bother to get up, just casually told him to sit down.

Wade Wilson, of course, didn't mind this sort of thing.

Like he had some sort of childish hyperactivity disorder, he wandered around Zhou Cheng's house, going from place to place.

He was also chattering incessantly, spouting all sorts of irrelevant nonsense.

Even if the Wade in this universe wouldn't necessarily become Deadpool again, the same chatterbox trait was still there.

Zhou Cheng didn't bother to respond. He ate his meal and washed the dishes by himself.

After everything was tidied up, he called Wade Wilson over.

He handed the First Generation Mark Armor blueprints, which he had scavenged from the cave, to him.

"What's this?"

Wade Wilson took the blueprints with a hint of curiosity. After just a glance, his eyes immediately lit up.

"I guess... this isn't a toy, right?"

"This can't be real, can it?"

If this blueprint is real, then it's truly something incredible.

With Deadpool's experience, he could naturally discern the immense value it held.

"Why else would I call you over?"

Zhou Cheng shrugged at the other person, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

"This is so great, so cool!"

"This thing, I guarantee you, Zhou, can fetch a good price."

"Wait a minute, you gave it to me, so I'm supposed to sell it, right? You're not thinking of producing it yourself, are you?"

"Buddy, take my advice, without a powerful background, the government won't let you produce this."

"Of course, maybe I was wrong, perhaps you have an unfathomable background? Behind…"

"Cut it out!"

Zhou Cheng couldn't help but interrupt Wade Wilson, feeling a headache coming on.

With that little jerk's machine-gun mouth, the average person really couldn't handle it.

In fact, he didn't even need the little jerk to say more; Zhou Cheng naturally understood.

Even Tony Stark's armor almost got confiscated by the government, let alone anyone else.

From the very beginning, Zhou Cheng's plan was to sell the blueprints, nothing else.

"Find a suitable time to sell the blueprints."

"More or less money, longer or shorter time, it doesn't matter."

"I have only one request: keep things clean."

"I just want to get paid and not be involved in any trouble."

Zhou Cheng seriously instructed Wade Wilson.

"Don't worry, leave it to me!"

Wade Wilson immediately patted his chest and made a solemn promise.

For this, Zhou Cheng still believed it. After all, Deadpool did have some skills.

"By the way, Zhou, I need a codename from you!"

"The Stark situation has caused a sensation, and this is the perfect opportunity for us to make a name for ourselves."

"Come on, think of something!"

After discussing the blueprints, Wade Wilson earnestly made this request to Zhou Cheng.

A codename?

Zhou Cheng also fell into deep thought.

That's right.

Now that he had entered the mercenary business, he wanted to be the best.

It was naturally impossible without a cool codename.

So~

What codename would be good?

After a moment's consideration, Zhou Cheng made a decision.

"Satan!"

"Hasn't my codename already spread far and wide?"

Zhou Cheng said to Wade Wilson with a meaningful look.

"Satan?"

"I knew it was you!"

A glint of light flashed in Wade Wilson's eyes.

Ever since Zhou Cheng killed the employer who had put a bounty on Satan's head, Wade Wilson had been somewhat suspicious.

Now it seemed his guess was indeed correct.
