Of course.
That was just Tony Stark's subconscious guess. In reality, whether it was true or not, the playboy didn't know.
But Tony wasn't particularly concerned. Compared to Ms. Marvel, he was far more interested in Spider-Man.
The diary had mentioned Spider-Man multiple times. Though the information was sparse, Tony felt the kid's personality suited him perfectly.
He hadn't expected that, in the future—or in another world—his other self had such an extraordinary relationship with Spider-Man.
Even without further details, the fact that his alternate self regarded Spider-Man as his heir spoke volumes.
That "Big Tony" even gifted him a full drone army.
Tony himself didn't have such a drone army at the moment—but judging by the name, it wasn't anything overly complicated.
If he wanted, Tony could design several sets to meet specific needs in no time.
Of course, that was for Big Tony.
With his level of genius, even a small gadget that slipped through his fingers would be priceless to ordinary people.
That his alternate self could gift Spider-Man a full drone army indicated how highly he valued him.
"I really want to know who this Spider-Man really is."
Tony muttered to himself.
In that instant, his interest in Spider-Man skyrocketed.
If his other self cared so much for Spider-Man, it was likely that he would too.
Yet this Spider-Man had stirred up so much chaos—enough to disrupt the multiverse?
Impressive!
According to the diary, even when the Avengers were defunct in the future, Spider-Man was still a high schooler.
Zhou Cheng had listed him as a candidate for the Young Avengers, meaning the kid was still very young.
And yet… he could still disrupt the multiverse? That was incredible.
Even Tony himself couldn't achieve that level of multiversal disruption.
Almost forgot: After Spider-Man and others defeated Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, and their cohorts, Doctor Strange used magic to repair the multiversal rifts. This caused the entire world to forget Spider-Man's existence!
So for now, Spider-Man's status was uncertain.
Who else might join the Young Avengers?
Ah, Morgan Stark! Tony's daughter! By now, she must have grown up.
"I love you 3000"—one of Marvel's most iconic lines.
Given Morgan's early fascination with Iron Man's armor, it was only natural she would inherit her father's legacy.
"Spider-Men."
Tony raised an eyebrow.
That plural was revealing. Were there multiple Spider-Men in the world?
Like second-generation Captain America or third-generation Ant-Man, a legacy passed down through generations?
But that didn't fit—the diary described Spider-Man as still very young.
So if there were legacy Spider-Men, it must mean others from parallel universes passed their mantle to him. Which implied that at least one Spider-Man was currently active.
Yet Tony had already had J.A.R.V.I.S search for Spider-Man—nothing showed up.
Not to brag, but if even J.A.R.V.I.S couldn't find him, it meant there was no trace of Spider-Man online.
In other words, Spider-Man effectively didn't exist.
Furthermore, judging by Zhou Cheng's style, if a superhero had inherited their title, it would be explicitly noted.
Second or third-generation Captain America, Ant-Man, Hawkeye—all documented.
But when the diary merely said "Ms. Marvel" or "Patriot," it meant no inheritance was involved.
Considering the references to "multiverse disruption" and "multiversal rifts," Tony suspected the extra Spider-Men were from parallel universes.
After all, with the multiverse already fractured, it was only natural for a few to cross over.
"Kid… you're really something."
Tony marveled again.
He didn't know exactly how Spider-Man caused multiversal rifts, but the kid was terrifyingly capable.
The villains—Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin—though strange names, were clearly formidable.
And since multiple Spider-Men from the multiverse defeated them together, Tony naturally guessed that Octopus and Goblin might also be multiversal in origin.
As for Doctor Strange repairing the multiversal rifts with magic, Tony was momentarily astonished, but quickly accepted it.
Doctor Strange was a true powerhouse. Even a non-darkened version could patch the multiverse—it wasn't surprising.
One thing puzzled Tony:
Why did everyone forget Spider-Man once the multiverse was repaired?
Seemed completely unrelated…
But lacking concrete intel, Tony didn't dwell on it.
Instead, he turned back to the diary, eyes lighting up.
Morgan Stark! His Big Tony's daughter!Clearly, she was his and Pepper's daughter.
Wait—Morgan?
Tony's expression shifted.
He vaguely recalled that Pepper had an odd uncle named the same…
Could it be a coincidence?
No. Definitely not. This was deliberate on the part of his alternate self.
Naming his beloved daughter so casually was very in line with Big Tony's personality.
Learning that another self had a daughter before sacrificing himself in the final battle gave Tony comfort.
He felt a warmth for his other self.
Now… who had said "I love you 3000" to whom?
Big Tony to his daughter? Or the other way around?
Perhaps both?
Tony didn't need to know—the sentiment was delightful either way.
So besides his daughter, who else might join the Young Avengers?
With this curiosity, Tony continued scanning the diary for clues.
Minutes passed… nothing.
Tony immediately realized—the diary had updated its content unpredictably again.
Having had the diary for a long time, Tony knew the owner's habits well.
Without hesitation, he closed it and focused on real work.
What real work?
The diary had already teased crucial intel.
First: his third nemesis, the founder of the notorious Ten Rings organization—Kilian.
"J.A.R.V.I.S, investigate Kilian thoroughly. See what we can find."
J.A.R.V.I.S immediately obeyed, searching the entire network for every detail about Kilian.
"Sir, unfortunately, no relevant information found."
Soon, J.A.R.V.I.S presented a new update.
Tony wasn't surprised.
The Ten Rings and Desperate Warriors were hardly easy to investigate.
Truly uncovering anything would likely require hacking into the servers of Pioneer Technologies.
And that wasn't something J.A.R.V.I.S could do casually.
Still, for Tony, it wasn't a problem—he could handle it with proper planning.
He also trusted that Nick Fury, another diary holder, wouldn't ignore Kilian either.
"Coulson."
Tony's hunch was correct.
In the Triquetra Tower office, Nick Fury immediately summoned the ever-reliable Coulson.
Bam!
He slapped a freshly-printed dossier on the desk.
Coulson scanned it: Kilian appeared to be a successful entrepreneur, seemingly ordinary.
Yet Fury's interest indicated a hidden side.
Coulson remained silent, awaiting further orders.
"This person may appear to be the head of Pioneer Technologies, but that's his cover," Fury explained.
"I have intelligence that he's the real leader of the Ten Rings."
Coulson's eyes widened in surprise.
The Ten Rings' leader? Not that grizzled old man—but this suave, seemingly gentle entrepreneur?
Such a stark contrast!
Yet when orders come from Fury, Coulson trusts the judgment.
He nodded without question.
"Additionally, Kilian commands a force known as the 'Desperate Warriors.'"
"Even he may be a super-soldier himself."
"You are to investigate the Desperate Warriors thoroughly as well."
Coulson nodded again, when Fury's voice followed.
"Your mission is covert—do not alert them, understood?"
"Understood, sir."
"Alright, you may proceed."
After sending Coulson, Fury called Agent Hill.
He tasked her with investigating the Ten Rings.
"Anything after that?"
Hill inquired.
"No 'after.' Your mission is purely investigative. Nothing else."
Though Fury investigated both Kilian and the Ten Rings, his strategies differed.
He intended to eliminate Kilian eventually, while also uncovering the secrets behind the Desperate Warriors.
The Ten Rings? He merely wanted intelligence on potential threats.
"Understood, sir!"
Hill and Coulson set off efficiently.
By the third day, Coulson's investigation was effectively obsolete. Tony's assistance had been too effective.
Before Coulson could produce results, Tony had already uncovered all of Kilian's secrets.
And sent the evidence to Fury.
Opening it, Fury's spirits lifted immediately.
Tony's proof was undeniable.
Kilian was indeed the founder and leader of the Ten Rings.
