"Stark, is this how you treat guests?"
Ajak smiled, her eyes deliberately sweeping around the doorway. "Or do you prefer to discuss things at the door? Especially something so important?"
"Firstly, I haven't determined whether you are my guests."
Tony held up a finger, very seriously, followed by a second. "Secondly, I haven't decided whether to talk to you either, it depends on you."
"Alright."
Ajak was completely defeated by Tony, who didn't play by the rules. She had to comply with his demands and state her identity and purpose.
"Have you heard of the Eternals?"
Ajak pondered for a moment, then fixed Stark with a bright gaze.
Eternals?
Were these two actually Eternals?
Stark had to admit, he hadn't seen that coming.
Ever since he'd gotten the spoiler about the Eternals in his Diary, Stark had Jarvis investigate them.
Unsurprisingly, Jarvis hadn't turned up a single lead.
This supposedly awesome group, as the Diary had described them, seemed to not even exist!
And yet, here they were, suddenly at his door?
And they were after the Scepter?
What the hell!
The Diary had never mentioned the Eternals being interested in the Infinity Stones!
However, based on the Diary's various spoilers, and the information he'd gleaned from Thor, this group wasn't exactly evil.
Even at one point, it led Fury and Tony to believe that this was a group worth recruiting.
As for how to treat the two Eternals in front of him, Tony already had a plan.
"You said you're Eternals, right?"
Tony's eyes revealed a hint of curiosity and a desire to learn, "How do you prove it?"
"How to prove... Wait a minute, you're not surprised or confused, you know about the Eternals?"
Sersi couldn't help but show a hint of surprise.
Their Eternals have always stayed out of all matters of human society and naturally would not reveal their identities to human society.
But then again, well, that was before.
But since the team disbanded and everyone integrated into human society, this point was indeed no longer guaranteed.
At the very least, Kingo, that big star, had told his manager his true identity, hadn't he?
What was even more bizarre was that the manager actually believed him!
Even Sprite had told her story to others, but it was all dismissed as childish fantasy.
In this situation.
It wasn't surprising that Tony Stark had learned about the Eternals from some source.
Sersi didn't dwell on it. She just asked Tony, a little exasperated, "How do you want us to prove it? I've never had to prove this to anyone."
"Each of you Eternals has a special ability, right? So, what about you?"
Stark's eyes held a hint of anticipation.
It was obvious; he wanted Sersi to show off.
"It seems you know quite a bit about us. I'm very curious to know where you learned all this," Ajak asked, looking at Stark with a mixture of curiosity and confusion.
Even if the Eternals had integrated themselves into human society, it was unlikely they'd reveal all their secrets like this.
"Come on, who am I? Tony Stark!"
The playboy shrugged, oozing confidence. "There's nothing in this world I don't know!"
Seeing that Stark clearly didn't want to reveal his source of information, Ajak wisely kept quiet and didn't press the matter.
"Ajak."
Sersi looked towards Ajak beside her, seeking an answer.
Ajak pondered for a moment before nodding.
Sersi hesitated no longer. She looked around, then placed her hand on the doorknob next to her.
Her ability activated.
Whoosh! The perfectly good door instantly transformed into countless crimson petals!
"This is…matter transformation? This is your ability?"
"Turning a glass door into petals has already changed its molecular structure!"
"That's a truly impressive ability!"
Stark exclaimed in admiration, unable to help but sigh in amazement.
At this point, the playboy's doubts could be said to have completely vanished.
He no longer had any doubts about Ajak and Sersi's identities as Eternals.
"So, are we guests now?"
Ajak's voice rang out, a confident smile playing on her lips.
"Come in."
Stark stepped aside and gestured for the two of them to enter.
Taking the two of them, he arrived at the meeting room of the experimental base.
"Alright, Ajak, Sersi, tell me."
"Why did the Eternals set their sights on the Scepter?"
Everyone sat down. After some simple small talk, Tony immediately began to ask about the main topic.
"In the near future, the Earth will face a major crisis, and everything on Earth will cease to exist."
"To stop that impending disaster, we need the power of the Scepter."
After a moment to collect her thoughts, Ajak told the playboy her true intentions.
"Stark, I know you might find this absurd, or even think we're joking."
Sersi also began to add seriously from the side, "But believe me, you don't know what the truth of this world is like."
Although according to the Diary's description, Tony Stark is a Avenger with great potential, and will even experience and participate in various major events in the future.
But right now, those things haven't happened, have they?
He didn't even know the reason, whether the Diary's description was biased or some other reason, the Battle of New York hadn't happened! So the Iron Man who the Diary considered to be "a mortal body comparable to a god" is now just an ordinary person who is a little smarter than the average person, right? "Believe me, I know far more than you think."
The playboy had a meaningful look on his face.
This really wasn't Tony bragging. As the holder of the Diary, what he had seen, heard, and known, even a group like the Eternals couldn't compare!
"Ajak."
After withdrawing his attention from Sersi, Tony refocused his gaze on Ajak, "The huge crisis you mentioned, is it the guy sleeping inside the Earth?"
Before the words even left his mouth, Tony immediately saw the expressions of Ajak and Sersi, who were sitting opposite him, change.
They were shocked.
The two Eternals were truly somewhat shocked.
What Stark had just said was clearly about the imminent birth of Tiamut, wasn't it?
Why did he even know about this?
If one were to say that this person was extremely knowledgeable about the Eternals before, it could still be explained by the fact that the Eternals had integrated into human society, and some intelligence would inevitably leak out.
But the matter of Tiamut could not possibly be revealed!
After all, just a few months ago, this matter was only known by Ajak and Ikaris on the entire Earth!
Even Sersi only knew after she obtained that "mysterious object."
There was simply no possibility of leakage!
So what was going on?
"Looks like it!"
Stark didn't even need to wait for Ajak and Sersi to answer; one look at their faces told him he was right.
And according to the Diary's spoilers, aside from Ikaris and Sprite, the other Eternals had betrayed Arishem, intending to stop Tiamut's emergence.
Tony became even more certain and made a further, logical guess: "So, you plan to use the energy of the Infinity Stones to stop that thing from being born?"
Swish!
Both Ajak and Sersi's expressions changed again.
They were completely shocked by the playboy.
What a joke!
Why did this person know everything?
This was the Eternals' most hidden secret!
In an instant, Ajak and Sersi both felt like they were sitting on pins and needles.
This feeling of being completely seen through in front of someone, it had to be said, was just too awful.
"How exactly did you find out all this?"
"This isn't a secret just anyone could know."
Ajak's expression flickered several times before her eyes fixed on Tony, and she demanded in a low voice.
"I am not just anyone!"
The playboy shrugged, looking smug.
"Stark, don't quibble with me. You know what I mean."
"This is a secret exclusive to the Eternals, and I'm sure none of us revealed it."
Ajak's voice also became extremely serious.
"Wait a minute!"
Sersi's expression suddenly changed, and she seemed to realize something. "That's right, none of us leaked this secret, but perhaps we didn't need to, unless..."
Ajak also reacted sharply, prompted by Sersi.
That "mysterious item"!
According to Sersi's description, the mysterious item revealed a lot about the Eternals and the Celestial's ultimate secrets.
If Tony Stark also obtained that mysterious item, then everything would make sense.
After all, Sersi had never said that the "mysterious item" belonged exclusively to her, right? If she obtained the "mysterious item," it wasn't impossible for others to get it too!
Moreover.
The "mysterious item" also revealed a lot of information about Stark.
This indicates that the "mysterious item" is obviously also related to Stark.
"What riddles are you two speaking in?"
Seeing the expressions of Ajak and Sersi, Tony couldn't help but ask curiously.
"Just a moment."
After greeting Tony, Sersi quickly fished out the mysterious Diary from her personal bag.
She placed it in front of the playboy.
It's a Diary!
Tony Stark's face immediately showed a look of surprise and astonishment, and his eyes immediately locked onto the Diary.
At this moment, the playboy finally understood.
Why these two Eternals would be after the Scepter.
It turned out, they were influenced by the Diary!
That's right, the Diary provided a "guide" on how to solve the Celestial Tiamut problem.
Collecting the Infinity Stones was one of them.
"You can indeed see 'it'."
Sersi's eyes also lit up, and she suddenly understood.
No wonder Tony Stark knew everything; after all this time, he was the same as her, a holder of the Diary.
What a situation.
Ajak on the side was the same.
Although she couldn't see the Diary in Sersi's hands, she could tell what was going on from their reactions. Damn! Sersi really guessed it right.
"So, someone among the Eternals also possesses this 'thing'? I have to say, that's not what I expected."
Tony couldn't help but exclaim, then shrugged at the two of them, "But if that's the case, I think things will be much simpler."
Because Ajak, an "outsider," was present, they couldn't directly mention the Diary.
So, Sersi and Tony used "it" and "thing" as substitutes.
"I think so," Sersi said with a smile.
The atmosphere between them changed, becoming much more relaxed and harmonious.
After all, they were all Diary holders, so they understood each other to some extent.
Some things could be openly discussed.
"I suddenly got 'it' about three or four months ago. I had just finished a day of work and returned to my rented apartment when I suddenly found 'it' on my dressing table."
"What about you? When did you get yours?"
Sersi quickly "shared" her experience of getting the Diary with Tony.
She was indescribably excited.
Heaven knows, she had been holding it in for months, unable to reveal anything in any form, and now she could finally speak freely.
"Three or four months? Well, then I'm your senior, a senior of very high standing."
Stark's mouth curled into a smirk, he was so pleased with himself.
"Looks like you've had 'it' for quite a while? How long exactly?"
Sersi asked curiously.
"Three or four years, give or take."
Stark was even more pleased with himself now.
Three or four years!
Sersi was secretly surprised. That was a long time.
Wait a second! Sersi suddenly understood.
Why were some things recorded in the Diary different? Were they deliberately avoided because someone knew the "plot" in advance?
That's it.
Tony and Sersi began to communicate with each other about the Diary, and the atmosphere on the scene was very good.
It made Ajak feel a little left out.
"By the way, Stark, besides you, who else got 'it'?"
After they talked for a while, Sersi thought of a very key question and asked Tony.
"Of course."
Tony smiled inscrutably, then extended an invitation to Sersi, "Are you interested in meeting them?"
This wasn't something Stark came up with on a whim.
He'd been planning this ever since Sersi and Ajak showed up.
After all, recruiting the Eternals was something several Diary holders had always wanted to do.
They just hadn't been able to find the Eternals.
Now that the Eternals had delivered themselves, the playboy wouldn't let the opportunity pass.
And now that such a great opportunity had arisen, Stark went ahead and extended an invitation.
