Chapter 84 - Chapter 84 Hu Yifan's Sister

The court was actually not far from the mall.

Although not remote, it was an abandoned underground parking lot.

When the ambulance arrived, Jiang Sui and Su Qing had also just arrived.

Liu Ranran was terrified, her face streaked with tears. If Su Qing hadn't supported her, she would have collapsed to the ground.

"Don't be afraid, don't be afraid. It'll be fine."

The ambulance only had one seat left for a family member, so Jiang Sui got in, intending to have Su Qing take Liu Ranran home.

But Liu Ranran kept crying and shaking her head, so Su Qing took her into a taxi.

"Qing Qing, when I got there, Hu Yifan was the only one left. He was lying on the ground."

Listening to her broken words, Su Qing could imagine the scene. After all, when she had just arrived, the ground was still covered in blood, and the dim parking lot below looked terrifying.

Outside the operating room, the three people all had grim expressions. Jiang Sui narrowed his eyes, a chill in his eyes.

"Jiang Sui, should we call his parents..."

After all, this wasn't something they could handle. They'd need to call the police, right?

A sneer curled up the boy's lips. "His parents, I'm sure they wish he was dead."

Su Qing didn't understand, but hearing this made her hair stand on end. She'd only recently learned that Hu Yifan had transferred to the same school as Jiang Sui. He came from a wealthy family and behaved very erratically at school, the kind of bully no one dared to mess with. His grades were just terrible.

Su Qing didn't know what to do, but as she watched the operating room light up, she felt an inexplicable heaviness and anxiety in her heart.

"The doctor said to ask the family to come..."

What if the parents didn't come?

"I called his sister already, she'll be here soon."

Jiang Sui pinched his brows as he helped Su Qing sit down on a chair. His silence made him seem so cold and stern.

Hearing that Hu Yifan's sister was coming, Su Qing felt a little relieved. She turned to look at Liu Ranran, whispering words of comfort.

After a while, the sound of footsteps in the empty hallway made everyone slowly raise their heads, looking towards the source.

The person who arrived wore a tight black dress. Her delicate, palm-sized face was adorned with sunglasses, her lips curled red, and she wore a black hat with a brim. She didn't look like she was visiting a patient, but rather attending a funeral.

The woman not far away was mature and charming, unlike anyone their age. This unfamiliar feeling made the two young girls on the bench freeze.

Su Qing could clearly sense the coldness of the person next to her. Liu Ranran, beside her, was tear-stained and trembling with fear. She wanted to speak but dared not, so she simply clung to her.

As Jiang Sui stood up, the woman had already removed her sunglasses. Her steps were swaying, her green curls fluttering, and she was still chewing gum.

"What? Are he dead? Why did you call me over here?"

Her face was filled with impatience, her words were unpleasant, and there was even a hint of sarcasm at the corner of her mouth.

One moment wondered if this was the patient's sister, or perhaps an enemy?

Jiang Sui's expression darkened instantly, his eyes gleaming with a cold glint.

"Hu Ling, you'd better speak properly. That's your brother inside."

The young man clearly suppressed his anger and coldness. His eyes, icy as ice, pierced Hu Ling's body with a chilling coldness, almost piercing her.

His aura was truly terrifying, utterly terrifying.

Hu Ling was visibly stunned, a little intimidated by the handsome young man in front her, but not afraid.

"There are so many brothers. Which one is this one?"

Jiang Sui's face darkened as she asked, knowing the answer.

"Hu Ling!"

The voice suddenly rose considerably, startling both Su Qing and Liu Ranran. Clearly, he was furious!

Just then, a doctor emerged from the operating room.

Holding a list from a file holder, he looked around.

"Who's the family member!"

No one answered.

At this critical moment, the doctor couldn't help but frown. He glanced around, examining the faces of several students, then at a woman not far away, dressed elegantly. He was about to speak again.

Hu Ling, under Jiang Sui's intimidating gaze, raised her fair palm.

"I am."

Slowly, with a twist of her waist, she approached the doctor.

"This needs a signature. The patient is not seriously injured, just some excessive blood loss and a fractured nose."

Seeing the woman in front him sign the form without even glancing at it, the doctor couldn't help but add, "This is for a blood transfusion. It's nothing serious."

Hu Ling hummed a neutral, indifferent sound. The doctor frowned, but he still took the folder and went in.

After signing, Hu Ling turned around, put on her sunglasses, and was about to leave without even looking back.

Jiang Sui grabbed her wrist.

"Wait until he wakes up."

Su Qing looked up at Jiang Sui, then at Hu Ling. She could only sense the young man's intense anger.

"Qing Qing, is she really Hu Yifan's sister..."

Liu Ranran, sobbing, glanced at the most beautiful woman she had ever seen with swollen eyes, then quietly crouched beside Su Qing and spoke.

Su Qing shook her head, but then nodded.

After all, Jiang Sui wouldn't joke about such a thing.

It's just that Hu Yifan and his sister don't seem to have a good relationship.

Hu Ling, whose arm was pinched by Jiang Sui, glanced at the two girls sitting on the stool and leaned closer to Jiang Sui.

Before the boy could evade, she smiled at Su Qing with a curled lip and a raised eyebrow.

"That little girl with the ponytail has been watching us for a long time. Are you sure you don't want unhold me?"

Hu Ling was instantly pushed away.

"Hu Ling, you'd better not make me angry. I'm not Nan Cheng, and I won't indulge you. You'd better restrain yourself. Otherwise, even if I break your legs today, you'll just have to sit here and wait for him to wake up."

The 17-year-old boy had already become quite a striking figure: tall, handsome, with deep eyes, a prominent nose, and thin lips. He exuded an awe-inspiring nobility.

This was the young master of the Jiang family.

Hu Ling's face froze for a moment, a hint of coldness flashing across her eyes, but it quickly dissipated.

She pursed her lips and smiled. Breaking her legs? She believed he could do it.

She then sat down in the chair beside Su Qing.

Under Jiang Sui's gaze, he said lightly.

"Hello, kids! Did you hear that? He was going to break my legs."

The kid in front was greeting the two of them, but the one behind, did you hear that? She was actually speaking to Su Qing.

Jiang Sui resisted the urge to throw Hu Ling out...

He pressed down his throbbing eyebrows.
