Chapter 175 - Chapter 175 Precious Time 1

The next morning.

Early in the morning, Su Qing told Su Rao she was leaving.

Su Rao had always disliked Su Qing always staying with an old woman like her, so hearing she was leaving brightened her mood.

Furthermore, she was going to see Ranran, a girl she liked. She loved eating, was plump, had a good personality, and was a good child.

Su Rao, she didn't ask for anything else, just that Su Qing be healthy and happy.

Perhaps this is what most parents wish for.

After Su Qing left, she felt incredibly nervous.

This was the second time she'd sneaked into the boy's house. Doing things so stealthily, like a thief, her heart pounding.

She opened the door. Perhaps because it had snowed the previous night, not a single snowflake remained on the curb.

But the air inside still carried a damp, damp feeling.

Su Qing tiptoed to place the breakfast she'd bought in the dining room, then quietly made her way to Jiang Sui's bedroom.

This was the first time Su Qing had seen that face so closely.

His sharp features exuded a cool aura, his smooth, fair complexion gleamed with captivating dark eyes. His thick eyebrows, high nose, and beautifully shaped lips all exuded nobility and elegance.

He was so sound asleep, seemingly truly exhausted, that he didn't notice.

"Qing Qing."

The deep, rich, and magnetic voice captivated the man even more.

Not quite a man, but a boy. Su Qing was stunned. How had he woken up?

Su Qing, lying on the edge of the bed, watching Jiang Sui, blushed instantly.

"Qing Qing, I'm dreaming, am I? Come, sleep with me for a while."

A pair of large, cool hands, without Su Qing's permission, rested on her head. The touch of her soft hair made the man narrow his eyes, a tenderness inexplicable, yet at first glance, nothing at all.

A brief contact.

The young man scooped her up from the bedside with his bare hands. Quickly, Su Qing was ensconced in Jiang Sui's arms.

Perhaps it was her sweet scent that caused the young man to nuzzle his head against the crook of Su Qing's neck.

"Qing Qing, be good. Sleep a little longer."

Su Qing was stunned. Her eyes revealed a mixture of panic and shyness, and a blush spread across her face and head.

Jiang Sui's breathing was heavy.

In the bedroom.

A quiet, terrified silence, perhaps because of the boy's breath, which exuded a warmth. Su Qing had woken up too early that morning, so she didn't notice, and she fell asleep with a blush.

The curtains in the dim bedroom were still open.

It wasn't until Jiang Sui's eyes gradually opened, and in shock, he discovered the person in his arms.

Jiang Sui, who had thought he was dreaming, finally felt reality. He had always thought he was dreaming, seeing Su Qing coming to him.

He hadn't expected it to be real.

The young man didn't dare move, completely stunned. Looking at the tiny, docile creature in his arms, Jiang Sui's heart softened, as if soaked in water.

Jiang Sui stared at Su Qing for a long moment, then glanced at the alarm clock on the bedside table. It was already ten o'clock.

She had come over at some point. He quietly got out of bed and muted his phone. Seeing Pei Dai's text message, Jiang Sui's lips curved slightly.

Su Qing had no idea how she had drifted off to sleep.

Until she felt someone calling her.

"Qing Qing, Qing Qing, wake up! The sun's out!"

Su Qing's sleepy eyes, half-lidded and squinting, watched Jiang Sui rocking her. Su Qing was hazy. Perhaps it was because she had woken up too early, or perhaps it was because she hadn't slept well, but the warmth made her want to stay on bed. She turned around, pulled the covers over her, and tried to sleep on.

Her emotions found such a wonderful release in this warm environment.

Jiang Sui's eyes took in the girl's innocent expression, her brows stained with sleep and her languid expression. But when he looked at the alarm clock, it was already past noon.

"Qing Qing, wake up, sweetheart. Eat breakfast first, then go to sleep. Be good, wake up."

The deep male voice carried a hint of doting, and Jiang Sui's face was full of smiles.

However, hearing that voice instantly dispelled Su Qing's sleepiness, her mind instantly clearing up. That voice was so familiar to her. Who else could it be but Jiang Sui...

Su Qing rubbed her eyes. The sun was truly high in the sky, and the sunlight outside, even through the curtains, shone a faint golden hue.

Su Qing pursed her lips, regaining consciousness. She shyly tucked herself under the covers, "Jiang Sui, when did you get up..."

She'd originally thought she'd wait a while, wait until he slept a little longer, then wake him up for breakfast. But somehow, she'd fallen asleep without realizing it, and now Jiang Sui had woken her up.

Her head was buzzing.

She felt that she was too spoiled.

Seeing the girl wrapped up in the quilt like a silkworm chrysalis, her voice muffled, Jiang Sui, worried she might be suffocating, pursed his lips and tugged at the quilt.

The girl didn't have the strength, especially since she'd just woken up. Naturally, she was no match for Jiang Sui. With a gentle tug, he pulled Su Qing out of the covers.

"You're suffocating yourself. Get up, eat first, then sleep."

It was indeed quite suffocating inside, the lack of oxygen causing Su Qing's eyes to glow with a golden light.

"I'm not sleeping anymore. When did you get up?"

Su Qing hesitated, freeing her fingers to confirm, one hand pinching her fair cheeks in disbelief.

But it was true.

She was indeed awake. She pursed her lips and buried her head in Jiang Sui's arms.

...

Su Qing breathed a heavy breath, her face a bit shy. "Jiang Sui, you release me."

She felt that this position was a little too intimate.

She could even feel the boy's warmth, and her face grew even hotter.

However, Jiang Sui looked at Su Qing deeply. He didn't release. Instead, he held her like a child, turned around, and led her towards the door.

"Jiang Sui..."

Her warning sounded like a coquettish plea, more like a tickle.

It had no effect on Jiang Sui at all.

The young man also let her do what she wanted, quite indulgently.

As they passed the full-length mirror at the door, the young man, dressed in a dark blue casual outfit that made him look handsome and tall, passed through the air. Su Qing looked at herself being held by the young man.
