Chapter 177 - Chapter 177 Precious Time 3

The moment she was at a loss, the spoon dropped from her hand.

The boy's blazing gaze fixed on her, more like a silent wait than a stare.

Su Qing's heart fluttered at that handsome face, forgetting her shyness.

She gently pressed her lips against Jiang Sui's cheek.

Su Qing, at ease, moved away in an instant, but her avoidance wasn't as immediate as it seemed. Jiang Sui held the back of her head.

It wasn't just a quick taste.

Su Qing, bewildered, quietly clenched her fists. Her almond-shaped eyes shone with an irresistible divine light.

A long pause passed.

Only when her waist was gasping for breath did Jiang Sui release her.

Su Qing raised her eyelids slightly, her ears flushing red. She lowered her head, not daring to look at Jiang Sui again.

She knew the boy was not just handsome; he was incredibly handsome.

Su Qing pinched her fingertips, feeling slightly uneasy.

Knowing she was shy, the boy stopped teasing and simply held her fingers, watching the food on the table grow slightly cold.

He patted her head, "Qing Qing, wait a minute, I'll go heat up the food."

They were almost done eating, but to lighten the mood, Su Qing pursed her lips and obediently lowered her eyes. A faint blush tinged her cheeks. She raised her eyes, half-consciously, as if wanting to see the boy in the distance, but seemed a little embarrassed and hesitated to look up.

By the time the young man had cleared the table, Su Qing could see Jiang Sui standing not far away.

The young man pursed his lips, a faint curve descending into his face, a faint smile playing across his face. It was as if he had long observed her every move and was watching him.

He wore simple clothes, yet he exuded an air of transcendence and heroism that seemed unapproachable.

The girl, with her delicate neck, quickly lowered her head the moment she saw Jiang Sui, not daring to look up again.

With a simple turn of the microwave, the meal was heated up, and they ate from morning till noon.

The young man had a very good temper.

Su Qing ate a lot more and felt her stomach was a little full.

In the open kitchen, Su Qing could hear the trickle of water. A young man, back straight, washed dishes meticulously, her hands still holding the yogurt Jiang Su had just given her.

He said it aided digestion.

Su Qing pursed her lips, remained silent, raised her arms, hovered in the air, rested her head, and stared at Jiang Sui rather blatantly.

Looking at him again, she found him incredibly handsome.

She pursed her lips, feeling incredibly lucky, a slight smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.

The young man turned around and saw Su Qing staring at him with a silly smile. He strode towards her.

"Does it look good?"

His voice was low and a little hoarse. In the room, which was open from north to south, the sunlight had just shone into the kitchen. He stood in the bright light, his entire body radiating like a diamond.

"It looks good."

She answered sincerely, but she felt shy as she spoke. She wanted to cover her face with her hands, but her arms were numb from being in the air for so long.

"Ah!"

She let out a soft sound without realizing it.

To prevent Su Qing from falling, Jiang Sui stepped forward, half-supporting her shoulders. He took the girl's wrist in his hand and gently rubbed it.

Su Qing was a little embarrassed at being caught peeping, and her arm was numb, but the boy's cool face made her embarrassment disappear completely.

"Is it still numb?"

Actually, it wasn't that bad; it was just a careless exclamation. She shook her head, "No more numbness."

She was so well behaved that it made him want to hold her in his arms. Jiang Sui was thankful that the two of them hadn't grown apart in the time they hadn't seen each other. Instead, they had become closer.

"It look good. Then you keep looking at it. You say it look good, Su Qing, I'm so happy."

His voice trembled, leaving Su Qing stunned. Unsure how to respond after untying it, she could only let him pinch her fingers.

The boy's palm felt slightly cool, but not completely cold. In short, a flicker of joy crossed Su Qing's heart.

After a long pause, she replied dryly.

"As long as you're happy."

She wasn't very good at expressing herself verbally, and her words were a little awkward now. But thankfully, the boy smiled.

A truly charming smile.

When Su Qing used to read, she'd always wondered how many stunning beauties there were in the world, how beautiful their looks were; it was all just appearances.

Or, was the so-called "lighting beacons to amuse the princes" really about beauty?

She'd been skeptical, but now, looking at Jiang Sui, she believed it.

Because it was truly beautiful, even more beautiful than fireworks.

Perhaps because he was captivated by it, the boy also looked at Su Qing. Su Qing pursed her lips, pinched her fingers, and averted her gaze, only for the boy's fingertips to slightly lift her chin.

"Qing Qing, I like you looking at me like this."

His words were so direct, devoid of any emotion, that they made Su Qing's heartbeat erratically, and she felt as if she were steaming.

"Jiang Sui..."

She felt a little overwhelmed. The boy's gaze was so intense that Su Qing didn't know what to do.

Wet eyes, crisp cheeks.

A long moment passed.

As the heat in the air dissipated.

Su Qing allowed Jiang Sui to lift her on the sofa, obediently showing no sign of resistance or rejection, which put Jiang Sui in a very good mood.

"Jiang Sui, aren't we going out?"

She woke up early today, firstly to bring Jiang Sui breakfast, and secondly because they had an appointment with Pei Dai, but it was already noon.

Listening to Su Qing's words, the young man paused. He thought back to Pei Dai's phone call back then. Jiang Sui could more or less hear that Pei Dai didn't seem to be in a good mood.

Was the handover going smoothly, or something else? Jiang Sui didn't ask in detail, simply thinking that they would say the same thing tomorrow. "Pei Dai said we'll meet again tomorrow."

"Oh."

Su Qing understood. So that was the case. She had a feeling Jiang Sui cared more about her than she did. Even though he hadn't mentioned anything today, she had guessed something.

"What's the matter, Qing Qing? Are you disappointed? Don't want to spend the whole day with me?"

The young man's breath and voice carried a hint of danger as it approached, causing Su Qing to freeze.
