Ethan mustered his courage, clenched his fists, sweat running down his face like small rivers though there was cold all over the cave. The aura from the other side of the door was paralyzing, sending shivers down his spine every five seconds. Though he felt unease, his sense on alert and his hairs standing erect, he placed his hands on the door. Feeling the cold metallic door from the tips od his fingers
"OK, I have to do this now or never"
"Here I go" Taking a deep breath, Ethan pushed the door open. A gust of terrific and devilish aura surged out of the door, paralyzing Ethan on spot. He couldn't move, the pressure was too much for him to bare. But could he turn back like a scared dog with its tail between its legs? Nope, Ethan moved forward and entered the room.
The crystals around started lighting up, from the floor to the ceiling of the room. He walked and reached at the center of the room. Immediately above the center to the ceiling was a large crystal which lit up revealing an outstanding, unimaginable and terrific vile snake-like beast with dragon-like wings.
"What is this monstrousity?" Ethan asked to himself after seeing the beast. This wasn't something he would see every of his life. His first time being in contact with a real beast and this one was really terrifying.
It's eyes where closed but yet the beasts was terrifying. It was all covered dark scales, not snake-like scales, but ones that looked like a crab's carapace, looking so hard. It's head looked like that of a dragon, with a large mouth and razor shaped teeth, some protruding from its mouth. Five pillars were surrounding the beast. Each had some scriptures written on it which where lightning blueish in color. Ethan still in shoch scanning the place but not looking around too long because he was always having an eye on the beast, he move to one of the pillars, examining the scriptures on it
"What is all this? What is it saying? I've never seen something like this before. I think these are all gibberish" Ethan was walking from pillar to pillar, carefully examining the scriptures. Though he saw that they had thesame pattern, he didn't have an idea on what was it that was written on the pillars. But something caught his attention again
"What is it that is drawn on the floor below this abomination? Why do I feel like it have to be cautious and leave this place as soon as possible?"
Below the beast was a circle which was shinning blueish just like the scriptures on the pillars. But this circle was made of signs, symbols and drawings. Ethan had no idea what all these were, though he felt nothing good from this place, he had no choice but to stay. He was here for Licia and he won't go back without a way to save her life, even if it costs his own life, he would definitely find a way.
Still looking at the drawings and symbols beneath the beast, he heard a deep, terrifying breath. It was the beast, it started moving, it's eyes opened, deep crimson in color, and rose from the ground. Gigantic, massive, impressive outstanding, majestic and terrifying. Like a cobra ready to strike on its prey, it looked down on the human Infront of it, like an ant to crush with no effort.
"RRRRRROOOOOAAAAARRRRR"
The beast roared at the depth of its lungs, not only was the cave trembling, but the whole of Mount Etna was, as if an earthquake was taking place. It's roar was so loud that it was heard several kilometers away From Mount Etna. Back in the village, the villages were all scared, each and everyone running to their homes, doors and windows were closed in an instant.
"No...no...nooooo...the beast, the destroyer of humanity has awakened again. We are doomed, we are all doomed. May the gods have mercy upon us and help" The old fool said, looking at the sky with a terrified look on his face. He was so scared that his whole body was shivering.
The amount of pressure and aura released by the beast just from its roar was powerful enough not make Mount Etna tremble. Ethan fell to the ground, paralyzed, unable to mutter a single word
"What the heck is this beast. Just from a roar, I couldn't even stand the pressure. Is this how powerful this abomination is? I didn't expect this at all. It's awake now, will I survive? Can I really save Licia?"
Ethan's thought was racing with questions, questions that he couldn't answer right now. The abomination as he call it was awake now, looking at him like a ready made meal to satisfy its Stomach.
"It's been a long time I haven't seen a human" The beast said with a deep pressuring voice, full of disgust. It seem to have the ability to speak. This made Ethan both confused and terrified. Terrified because he felt the disgust in its voice and confused as to how was it able to speek like a human.
"It's been so long I don't remember for how long. Old me, already having memory loss" The beast continued it it's deep voice, looking at Ethan was still on the floor. He was looking straight to the floor, he didn't even once look at the beast in its eyes.
The Aura it was emanating was too terrifying. He felt like he would lost his life in an instant if he tried to look at the abomination in front of him in the eyes.
"Look at me in the eyes mere mortal and bow down to me" The beast ordered in a terrific voice which sent shivers down Ethan's spine. He executed the order and bowed with fear of death. He could feel the bloodthirst from this abomination and he wasn't ready to die.
"What does a mere mortal like you is doing in my domain? Speak or die"
