It was Gwen who had come to stop the chaos and appeared as a superhero.
After being bitten by a spider and gaining superpowers, she went through a period of fear and confusion.
During that time, Gwen worried that, because of the mutation, her parents would treat her differently and that her classmates and the world would see her as a monster.
That's why Gwen was extremely cautious, afraid of revealing her abilities.
Until Iron Man appeared, at that moment, Gwen saw hope and thought maybe she should also use her abilities to help others.
But how exactly to do that, how to use her powers, and whether or not to hide her identity, all became obstacles preventing Gwen from taking the first step.
She was afraid she wouldn't be good enough, and she also worried that revealing her identity would cause various problems, even affecting her parents.
Then, at the square, Gwen saw Alaric.
She saw how Alaric stopped the monster and saved people.
At that moment, hearing the cheering, the expectations, the excitement and everything else from many people around her, Gwen also wanted to be like Alaric, to embody a superhero and save the world!
Alaric gave Gwen tremendous courage!
If Iron Man had given her a goal, then Alaric, with his incredibly powerful presence, gave her determination!
That's why Gwen, using her ingenuity, made her own suit and designed a web shooter and similar gear.
Gwen didn't want to reveal her identity, after all, she was only seventeen and a high school student, she didn't want to be so conspicuous.
So she designed a hood to hide her identity, and then began her journey through Queens!
Spider-Woman appeared before the world for the first time.
At night, she's the nemesis of crime, fighting criminals; during the day, she's a decent high school girl.
The switch between these two identities made Gwen feel very amazed and full of interest.
After becoming Spider-Woman, every time she heard the gratitude of those she helped, Gwen felt she had found the meaning of her life!
And that she had her own perseverance.
…
"Oh! Good evening, everyone!"
Gwen brought down a robot and greeted several frightened people.
"You… hello…"
"Watch out behind you!"
A man suddenly pointed behind Gwen and shouted.
Gwen did a backflip to dodge the bullet from another robot.
"Get out of here!" Gwen shouted and dashed toward the robot.
Bang!
A few shots hit the robot's joint and blocked its weapon.
Then Gwen turned into a dancing beam of light, approached the robot, skillfully dodged its attack and circled around it.
Soon the robot was tightly wrapped in spiderwebs and had no means of attacking.
"Hey? Is Mr. Iron Man inside?"
Gwen stood on the robot's shoulder and tapped its head, throwing a joke.
At that moment, flames burst from beneath the robot's feet and it suddenly shot up into the air.
"Ugh!"
Even Gwen was taken into the air.
"This really is Iron Man's work!! Isn't he a superhero!?"
Gwen shouted.
Who knows if the robot activated a self-destruct program, the robot that flew up suddenly rushed straight at the fleeing crowd below.
"No!"
"Get out of the way!"
Gwen exclaimed, flipped, and jumped down, and after landing with the help of her web, tried to pull back the robot charging at the crowd.
But Gwen quickly realized that, even though her strength had greatly increased due to the mutation, with the robot's jet propulsion she could no longer stop it.
Gwen could only do her best to give the others a little more time to escape.
…
S.H.I.E.L.D.
Fury looked at Gwen on the screen and frowned.
Another unknown person.
"Who is she?"
"She should be the Spider-Woman who's been active in Queens lately."
Hill looked at the tablet in her hand and answered Fury's question.
"Spider-Woman?" Fury muttered.
"And Tony? Where is he?"
"He's luring the armed units that were taken over by a compromised system."
"And Natasha?"
"She went to Hammer Industries to find the people behind the scenes."
Hill precisely answered each of Fury's questions.
"Is Tony's body really better? Wasn't it because of the new element?"
Fury recalled Natasha's information that Tony seemed to have recovered and, apparently, could stop wearing the reactor.
"That's what Natasha said, and combined with Coulson's report, most likely Alaric is the one responsible for Tony's recovery."
"Alaric…"
Fury frowned deeply.
Clearly, the entire situation had been under control, but as a result of the extra Alaric, Fury ended up in a passive position.
He couldn't touch him, he couldn't ignore his presence, like a nuclear bomb.
That left Fury helpless.
"Compile a file on Spider-Woman and just observe her for now."
Fury sighed.
"Understood." Hill nodded.
"And Tony…"
"Tony… I'll talk to him when it's all over."
…
"Ah! Where is Iron Man! Why isn't he handling the disaster he caused!"
Gwen, already at the end of her strength, couldn't help but complain.
"Iron Man is busy."
A voice came from beside Gwen.
"How busy could he be… Mister Magic!?"
Gwen unconsciously turned her head, and when she looked, suddenly realized that her idol was standing beside her!
Then Gwen's hands loosened from excitement.
"Ah! Watch out!!"
Gwen shouted, already about to save someone.
"Don't worry, I'm here." Alaric pulled her back and said quietly.
"Ha!?"
At that moment Gwen also noticed that the robot, which was almost crashing into the crowd, had actually stopped in midair!
"It's not moving!?"
Alaric raised his hand and gently waved it, like with an eraser, he erased the robot's existence.
Of course, that erasure meant that Alaric had pulled it into his black hole space and let the black hole devour it.
After all, Alaric remembered that those robots might self-destruct.
"Amazing! Mister Magic!"
Gwen happily clenched her fist!
Her heart was full of excitement!
Mister Magic was as reliable as ever! Worthy of being her idol!!
"Mister Magic, let's save the others too!"
"Alright, I will."
Alaric said that and gently closed his eyes, and his perception covered the entire scene.
Then, with his mind, he activated portals that appeared beneath the robots' feet; Alaric transported them all to his black hole space.
At first Gwen wondered what Alaric was doing, and then she saw a robot in the distance suddenly fall into a golden ring.
Gwen remembered that this was how Hulk had been sent away by Alaric last time.
"Yay! Is that magic!? Mister Magic!"
"Why are you calling me Mister Magic?" Alaric asked, confused.
"Oh! That's because Iron Man Tony Stark said in an interview that you are a magical magician who can use 'magic'!!"
