"Laws of space?!"
"Can I actually comprehend the power of laws from the Infinity Stones?!"
"Ah, what a pity that after so much usage, I never once tried to understand them."
Alaric thought with regret.
If he could comprehend the laws of space from the Space Stone, then from the other Infinity Stones, one could successively gain the law of time, the law of soul, the law of power, the law of reality, and the law of mind.
And to master all six Infinity Stones at once means to master the lives of all beings in the universe!
The power of the corresponding laws can have the same effect!!
In other words, even if Alaric doesn't collect all the Infinity Stones, he could still gain the abilities that Thanos has with the Infinity Gauntlet!
That way, even if Thanos snaps his fingers and wipes out half of all life in the universe, Alaric could revive it immediately!!
"Wait… What if Thanos snaps, and I'm in that half?!"
Alaric suddenly came to his senses: that randomly erased half of life, it looked like he could end up in it too...
"Eh, we'll see then, first I need to close the portal."
The Infinity Stones truly deserve their name, infinite; with Alaric's current power, even after such a long energy siphon, this energy barrier still wasn't depleted.
However, Alaric no longer needed to absorb it, because he had just gained a storage energy space called [Infinite Space], and now Alaric could use unlimited energy from the Infinity Stones at any time through it!
Alaric was very satisfied with that; he had gained yet another energy source, which could allow his Supreme Power to grow endlessly!
Relying solely on the energy of the Infinity Stones, Alaric could build himself up to multiverse level!
After all, there are six of them!
As he thought, Alaric extended his right hand into the energy shield and pulled out the Cosmic Cube.
Immediately, the portal, having lost its energy source, began to close.
Soon the sky above New York returned to normal, and the massive spatial rift completely vanished.
The alien invasion of Earth was finally over!
All New Yorkers, seeing this sight, began to cheer!
Countless people around the world breathed a sigh of relief!
Soon, the streets of New York were filled with crowds of people, countless of them rushing outside to celebrate with excitement!
Reporters immediately spread out to do street interviews.
Police began restoring order.
As for the alien corpses, whether S.H.I.E.L.D., the military, or Congress, all began collecting them.
Everyone wanted to get their hands on their technology.
But that had nothing to do with Alaric.
"You've all arrived."
Alaric appeared in the hall and saw many familiar faces.
Alaric, who had already mastered the laws of space, could now move anywhere without using a single magic portal.
Using magic requires magical energy, but using the power of spatial laws no longer requires any energy at all.
Now Alaric was thinking that, when he returned, he'd go to the Ancient One for the Time Stone to feel the power of time and see if he could comprehend another law, the law of time.
"Alaric, is the portal closed?"
"Yes, it's closed."
"Whew! We can finally breathe easy!"
Steve and the others exhaled in relief.
They were truly frightened.
They were afraid more aliens would keep pouring onto Earth.
And through today's battle, they realized that the current technology on Earth was nowhere near enough to deal with aliens.
"Alaric, can you help heal Tony? He still hasn't woken up."
Natasha spoke up.
"Tony? If you hadn't mentioned him, I honestly would've forgotten he's a superhero..."
Alaric cast a radiant light over Tony while grumbling.
Tony, one of the big three Avengers, basically did the whole thing like he was paddling, no one knew where he was, and when the battle was over, he was still lying down; really kind of pitiful.
However, considering what happened to him, it's understandable.
Steve, Natasha, and Hawkeye, upon hearing Alaric's comment, just twitched the corners of their mouths.
It's unclear whether Tony should feel lucky or unfortunate.
But when Tony was mentioned, everyone remembered Amora.
"Uncle, are you really planning to keep Amora by your side? She's dangerous."
Thor stepped forward and said seriously.
"Uncle?" Steve was confused.
Isn't Thor from Asgard? How is he calling Alaric 'uncle'?
Does that mean Alaric is also one of the gods of Asgard?!
"I don't know." Natasha shook her head.
She didn't know much about Alaric; at the time she had been assigned to watch Tony.
"Alright."
Steve didn't want to dig deeper.
At least from what he had seen today, Alaric was on Earth's side, and that was enough for him.
"Uncle, you might not know what kind of person Amora is..."
"Hey! Thor, I've already told Alaric everything about me!"
When she heard Thor, Amora walked over displeased.
"Don't worry, I saw Amora's memories and I know what kind of person she is, and as long as I'm here, she won't do anything foolish..."
Alaric explained.
"Ha?! You… you saw my memories? When did that happen!?"
Amora exclaimed in shock, looking at Alaric.
Why did Alaric look into her memories without her even feeling it!?
Alaric's magic was truly too powerful!
"When you returned to normal," said Alaric.
"Ah… Then!"
"If you say so, uncle, then I have no objections."
Thor nodded.
"Uncle, I want to take Loki back to Asgard for trial! And I also want to take back the Cosmic Cube to repair the Rainbow Bridge."
Thor looked at the Cosmic Cube in Alaric's hand and said.
Honestly, he felt a bit ashamed.
Everything that happened today was Loki's doing, and now he not only wanted to take Loki back, but was also asking for the Cosmic Cube; it sounded really greedy.
"Sure."
Alaric nodded, summoned a safe out of nowhere, packed the Cosmic Cube in it, and handed it to Thor.
"Thank you, uncle!!"
Thor was genuinely grateful that Alaric didn't hesitate at all.
"Um… Shouldn't you ask Fury?"
Natasha said uncertainly.
She was still a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and viewed everything from their perspective.
Only later, when she became part of the Avengers team, would she begin to detach from S.H.I.E.L.D. and no longer blindly follow Fury.
"Do you really think I'd listen to Fury?" said Alaric.
"No, no, no!" Natasha immediately waved it off.
Really, when has Alaric ever done anything according to S.H.I.E.L.D.'s plans?
Basically, Fury didn't even call him unless there was a real crisis, like when Loki stole the Cosmic Cube.
"I also think it's better if Thor takes the Cosmic Cube, so we don't attract attention from space. We're not ready for an interplanetary war."
Steve agreed with Alaric, especially after learning that S.H.I.E.L.D. had used the Cube to develop weapons.
Steve hates war, and even more, the methods Fury uses.
"Oh… What's this with me?"
At that moment, Tony, who had been unconscious, woke up after Alaric's healing, and saw the team sitting in his house.
Tony quickly rearranged his memories and suddenly jolted up.
"So, the war's over?!"
