The Capital of Ruthiana.
Unlike the grim picture seen throughout the rest of Ruthiana, the Capital was filled with life. It was always bustling with activity. No matter how terrible the situation outside became, the place remained crowded with people and noisy with constant movement and merriness.
Unlike the Western and Eastern regions, which were far from the center, the Northern and Southern regions were very close to the Capital. Because of that, the Dukes of these two regions chose to control their territories while staying inside the Capital itself.
The terrain of Ruthiana stretched longer on the left and right sides, while the North and South were comparatively shorter. So the nobles of the shorter regions stayed at the Capital. Their influence gathered together and formed what people called the Central Nobles.
Their power was terrifying. With a single glance or word, they could decide the fate of many.
