On a Friday night, Fugaku was in his office, he had a look of concern on his face as he rolled around in circles with his chair. Reggie, Laria, Andre, Ranpo and Kojin walked in "Sorry for being late, Lord Fugaku.", Reggie said. Ranpo scratched his head while seeming a little sleepy "Yeah, my fault. I lazied around my bed and forgot we had a meeting.". Kojin walked forward "Yeah, i'm also to blame for not waking that idiot up.", Ranpo said to him with annoyance "Hey, don't call me an idiot!", Kojin pointed at Ranpo with his thumb "Only and idiot will get angry for being called and idiot.", Ranpo sighed "Whatever.", he muttered. Fugaku sat up straight, his fingers were locked with one another, he had a very serious tone on his face "I trust that you all know what's at stake here.", he said to them with a cold tone. Everyone instantly became serious, the air in the room grew cold "It's about tomorrow's mission, isn't it?", Ranpo asked with a serious look in his eyes. Fugaku explained "The assassination exams have proved that the young soliders are capable of surviving anything that gets in the way. Not just that, but all of your students have shown great power, especially for their age.", he pointed to his subordinates standing right infront of him "You all have done a good job in bringing out the latent potential in those kids, now they are about to go in for the real thing.". Reggie muttered "The city of pillars, huh?", Fugaku explained "Yes, the young assassins would be going into the city of pillars to find out what the Knight Kingdom soliders are planning. It should take them about 2 days if they go at a slow pace, but at full speed, they should get there in a few hours.". Kojin then asked "What if the mission were to fail and the kids sent on the mission die?", Fugaku replied Kojin's question "If it were to fail, then we'll just send our full force and start an all out war right then and there.". All the team leaders kept quiet for a moment, only a cold air filled the room, Fugaku explained "The Knight Kingdom have been our enemy for the longest time now. They always want to dominate other countries by force, especially us, the City of Kagahara. If not for the fact that we've always had enough strength to fight, we'd be long gone by now.". Kojin then asked again "So, what's the plan?", Fugaku explained "Since we already know the Knight Kingdom has two base, one in the city of pillars, and the other one in a wasteland that is about 1,696 miles from here, the missions simple. The kids would go to the city of pillars and go about their mission, they would move out first thing tomorrow morning. As for you all, only three of you would go to the second base, it will be a mid night attack. The three of you being, Laria, Reggie and Andre.". Fugaku relaxed his back "As for the rest of you, you'd all stay back in the city as protection from whatever attack that finds itself here.". Ralfold's voice echoed behind the door "So you're saying the rest of us stay as back up....", Ralfold walked In with Suzuha and Lerion "Is that right?", he asked. Fugaku replied "Yeah, you're right. Each and everyone of us here are A-rank or atleast almost A-rank. Unless there is something other threat we don't know about, I believe we'd do just fine.". Lerion scratched his head with an annoyed look on his face "All this war nonsense is starting to get too much. Whatever tho, as long as I get paid properly at the end, it doesn't matter.", he looked at Fugaku "So the mission starts tomorrow, right?". Fugaku responded "Yeah, it does. Laria, Andre and Reggie would go on a full attack on the Knight Kingdom's science base tomorrow night. The rest of you, Ranpo, Kojin, Suzuha, Ralfold and Lerion, would all stay back at the city. It's very possible that the Knight Kingdom would send one of their top soliders to attack us.". Suzuha sighed "Well, I can't say I like what's about to happen, but I can't say that I wasn't expecting anything to happen. It's been a while since I used my hell flames at full power, so I guess I should be glad that I can finally test it on something, soon.", Ralfold looked at Suzuha with a dry facial expression "Don't go rampaging around with those crazy flames of yours.", Suzuha looked at Ralfold with suspicion "You're one to talk, don't get me started on that crazy destructive energy of yours.". Ranpo looked at Kojin with a teasing smirk "Hm, same thing goes for you, Kojin.", Kojin replied "Don't point the subject towards me.", Laria looked at Reggie and Andre with a dry but annoyed facial expression. Both Reggie and Andre jolted "She's looking at us, isn't she?", Reggie asked with a nervous smile and a wary voice. Andre responded while feeling the same as Reggie "Yep. Usually she blames me for everything bad that happens in a mission, but now i feel she's ready to throw both stones at both of us.", Reggie muttered "Definitely. ". Fugaku smiled softly, he pictured all his subordinates in his rooms as the teen versions of themselves "Hm, it's almost like things haven't changed at all. It's a shame that at some point, most of us will die, not even of old age for that matter.". He glanced at them "Alright, the meeting is disbanded. We all know the current objective.", all the team leaders looked serious, they had cold looks on their faces. They all said in unison "Simple. Dominate the the Knight Kingdom and destroyed anything that's in the way!", Fugaku smirked "Hm, my team!". Meanwhile, Kazuma and Yuji were in their rooms back at the boarding school, Kazuma asked "You have everything ready?", Yuji replied while arranging his locker and packing his daggers "Yup, I'm all set for tomorrow.", Kazuma smirked "Heck yeah.". Kito on the other hand had about 5 guns on his study table, he was ready for the mission coming up the next day. He looked at all his guns lined up "Unlike most soldiers, I don't really need too much artillery. I'm very good at controlling about 5 different natures. Not just that, my combat skills and speed are very good. Only thing i now need are some guns, couple explosives and daggers, I'll be fine.", he looked at the night sky through his window "I'm going into this mission and coming back alive! I bet that on my life!", he said that with anger slowly filling his eyes. Volt on the other hand was taking a stoll outside "Another life or death mission, huh?", he looked at the sky "Guess I'm ready.". White was at home, he was picking the daggers and short sword he'd need for the mission, Baroka was outside doing push ups "Kazuma and the others came to visit and told me about the upcoming mission tomorrow, I have to get ready so I don't die.". Regina was in her room taking a look at her blade, Mio was sitted on her bed trying to perfect the technique she has been working on, Gwen had already started checking up on her blasters and placing them on her table, Marallda was in her room creating some gravity bombs, Yuki was at home petting her monster mouths and Rem was sitted on her bed building up plasma on her arms. All the girls said to themselves in unison "We're going for tomorrow's mission, and we're coming back alive whether anyone likes it or not!"
