Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: Green Goblin Norman Osborn's Plan

In the corner stood Dr. Connors—or rather, the giant Lizard.

Under massive doses of the experimental serum, he had lost all sense of reason.

A faint red light pulsed beneath the flesh of his neck.

It was a bio-electrical controller, developed by Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin.

With it, Norman could command his army of hundreds of Lizard soldiers.

Then another hulking figure emerged.

It was the long-missing Scorpion, Mac Gargan.

He looked nothing like before—now towering seven to eight meters tall.

His Scorpion armor had been upgraded, shining with a metallic gleam.

No doubt, his defense had been greatly enhanced.

The Green Goblin gazed at his army, his face twisted with madness.

"Kehehe… with this legion, the whole world will be mine. Stark Industries, Fisk Enterprises, meaningless trash! I will be the unquestioned king of Earth."

Lost in his dream of conquest, he didn't notice two intruders already inside OsCorp Tower.

From S.H.I.E.L.D., Black Widow Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye Clint Barton had infiltrated.

It was midnight.

Most staff had gone home, and the guards were subdued with tranquilizers.

The tower was silent.

They swept the building, finding nothing unusual.

Natasha frowned.

"What's going on? No signs of anything?"

Hawkeye shook his head.

"Impossible. S.H.I.E.L.D. intel is never wrong. If nothing's above ground, then it means there's a basement."

He pulled a black device from his pack.

Natasha looked at it curiously.

"What's that?"

He smirked.

"New tech. Detects vibrations underground, maps hidden chambers."

She nodded.

He set it on the floor.

A map of the subterranean space flickered on its screen.

They exchanged a look and went to find the hidden entrance.

Meanwhile, below ground, Norman Osborn walked into a chamber.

Minutes later, he emerged—wearing the full Goblin suit.

Elsewhere, in Stark Tower.

Tony was in his private lab, studying the holographic screen.

After the freezing incident mid-flight, he had switched the suit's material to a gold-titanium alloy.

Now he was painting the armor.

The sound of high heels echoed.

Pepper Potts, in her business suit, approached with a projector in hand.

She handed it to Tony.

"Tony, while you were gone, two rising figures appeared in New York. You might want to see this."

Tony raised an eyebrow.

"Really? Show me."

He flicked it on.

A video played—Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

Tony smiled, intrigued.

"Spider duo, your friendly neighborhood types. Interesting. Their speed and strength are far beyond human limits. This world just keeps getting more fun."

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Nick Fury watched the same footage, face grim.

"Humanoid armor… likely Stark Industries' latest project."

Even Fury found Tony Stark a headache.

"After this business, I'll need a word with him."

On a New York rooftop, Maguire looked at the glowing city.

"Where are you, villains? My Bully Points depend on you. Hurry up—I'll be very friendly when we meet."
