That night, neither Serena nor Seraphina caught even a little bit of sleep. They talked, laughed, and caught up on a lot, and both of them were really sad for each other when it got to some parts of their narrations, but the next morning, when Seraphina noticed the sunrise, she excused herself to take a shower.
For Serena, she had the whole day at her disposal, and she did not have to take her shower at that moment. Still, she needed to fill her dad on the events that happened leading up to his rescue, when she went out to check if he returned the house was as clean as always, and the old staff were still no place to be seen but the house staff had at least doubles, and all of the new arrivals, new faces.
She made her way to her father's room and saw him settled on his bed in a passive posture, like he was resting, though he was wide awake. As soon as he sensed her presence, he said
"Serena, what is it that you want?"
"I just came to give you a rundown of what happened while you were away." When the conversation started, he was cool, but after hearing all that happened next, the whole thing with the unfair arrest and especially with the copyright scandal, he was very angry and said,
"I'm going to kill the Caspian."
"You don't need to kill the dead," she said as casually as saying the time or the weather.
"What happened?"
"I killed him myself, but I want to bring to your attention something else, Seraphina is in the house." Jack was angry and shouted.
"When did you let her in and how long has she been here?"
"She just came after you left, and believe me, I don't think it's wise to get angry right now."
"Give me a plausible reason."
"Promise me you won't freak out. If her presence can get you that furious, I do not know what this would do."
"Just say it."
"Okay, Seraphina might be pregnant."
"What! For which scumbag?"
"Chill, it was the werewolf, the one who tied us up in the woods."
"…" silence fell, and no one knew how to respond to the matter appropriately. Jack thought about it for a few minutes, then concluded.
"Call her into the room."
"I'll stay here as the moderator."
"Whatever," Serena could tell her dad was not happy with the turn of events at all, and was worried for her sister. She walked into the room, and Seraphina was wearing a robe, and put a coat over it.\
"What is that?"
"Well, your clothes don't fit me except those that need belts like a robe, to make up for my extra volume."
"Just wear something like a hoodie and baggy jeans like me," after taking her suggestion, Seraphina came out wearing all black.
"Why are you wearing all black?"
"Well, I'm mourning"
"Is some distant family member dead?"
"No, but my heart is, I mean it when I say I won't go on a single date with a guy."
"Okay, that would actually be for the best. Dad wants to interrogate you, but I'll be there. Are you ready?"
"Actually, I am more than ready. I was born to do this, and I'll stand out like bold black lipstick. This is not the first time, I really don't need you there, but I appreciate the effort."
"I am still going with you, with or without permission."
When they entered his room, the pitch-black scenery and red paintings lying on the walls seemed scarier than ever. In an ominous voice, Jack asked
"So why did you leave home? To elope with that animal?"
"Dad, I left because I felt loved, I was drawn to his presence and found something with him I never found present in all of my life with you, I wish I was the one who remained with mom, at least she made me feel relevant, and not just like some war weapon."
"You call that level of lust love?"
"And I know that was foolish, I don't need an old man telling me about it."
"Your mom would be disappointed."
"Well, guess what,, you were the one who raised me." then, mid-lecture, she decided to leave. Jack sighed, and thought to himself

"Well, she left because of you," Serena remarked, and Jack said
"Stop reading my thoughts."
"I have not a clue regarding the matter in question, I can't control it, but do you know she has not even taken a test?"
"She does not need one. If they did the deed on a full moon, then it's set in stone, blessed by the moon goddess and the goddess of fertility, which are as real as we both are, just extremely elusive."
"Can we not do just one thing in this house with conventional science? I bought the five best-rated pregnancy tests I could find in terms of accuracy, and today marks one week, so it's the best time to conduct the test.
Later on, after conducting the first test, it was positive, but the second one was negative, then the third one was negative, and the fourth one was positive, so it was all down to this moment, the final one would seal the judgement they'd make.
It came out, … Positive, meaning she wasn't pregnant after all, and Jack could accept that, he was adamant on proving she was pregnant and suggested they go to a professional doctor, but Seraphina proclaimed
"You act as though you actually want me to be pregnant."
"No, I mean what I said, if a wolf mates on the full moon, even the use of mortal protection cannot go against a God's blessing."
"Well, I'm not doing that, I am already late, and I need to go to school."
"Wait right there and tell me you've forgotten all about Lance."
"How do you know about him?"
"I want an answer."
"Long ago," she replied, then went back into the room. The uniform became way too tight, meaning Seraphina had to get it altered, but the house staff quickly sorted her out, and soon, she was ready to go to school in the black Lamborghini they usually used.
In the house, Serena took a shower, and she made her way out of the house with her father, in the blue Bugatti, they headed for the Mayors Mansion, and were shortly directly at it's gates, where they were actually blocked, Jack parked the car, they both got out and beat the guards black and blue, but not before destroying the camera.
Next, they entered the mansion and rang the doorbell, but after a few seconds without a response, Jack broke down the door, and they both headed in. Soon they stopped at the mayor's hall, where Mr. Raven and a few other prominent figures were all in black discussing a funeral.
Then Jack looked Mr. Raven straight in the eye and demanded his son drop all charges against her. After some moments of silence he said
"Caspian was everything to me, now he is dead, and you're only caring about how to get out of your lawsuit, your daughter stole my son's technology and assaulted him, she deserves everything he did to retaliate." he gave Mr. Raven a good punch on one of his eyes, turning it to mush, then said,
"Do I look like I care? You need to drop those charges, and I do not care about how you feel, but talk like that about my daughter, and you're lucky your son is dead or else, you'll be there to witness what happens to him."
At this moment,, Serena was just shaking her head internally. Why do something like this in the presence of people with such high status, and there was the possibility of paparazzi leaking a video, and the worst part was she might end up in the Local newspaper, or school paper once again, something she absolutely hated.
"One day, Jack, you are going to regret the things you have done to spoil your daughters."
"I already regret so much, a little more for my daughters would not leave a sting."
"You heard only her side of the story. That vile creature is a murderer, she is a hunter to our kind, and I'm going to tell the Dark legacy her connection to you."
"Oh well, then my plans to kill those old fools would be accelerated, the only one who can even put up a fight would be the King."
"Jack, I know right now you are on the verge of killing me, and though that is a possibility, look at everyone present and consider"
"I will kill you ten times over in front of these people but first."
Then jack stopped then started making weird signs his whole body accelerating to speeds she never thought he could reach under such short notice. Then a shadowy fire formed in his hands, and as soon as it descended on Mr. Raven, he began to scream like he was hurting. Then Jack asked, Any last words, his skin was white and his smile manic, then Mr. Raven begged
"I'll do anything you ask just remove this, now"
"Revoke the charges levelled against my daughter," then as soon as he was done, Jack's nails sharpened and he cut Mr. Raven's neck, saying.
"Your misery is over." Next, he looked to the crowd and with a flick of a finger from him, they literally exploded. Then Jack said
"Let's get out of here," then he drove the Bugatti at top speed, but managed to avoid every obstacle and blamed it on his many years of driving experience.
Throughout the whole thing she remained passive because Jack was so overbearing she didn't need to actually involve herself, but now she was as free as a bird, and decided to restart her business this time with a copyrighted idea
