The duel between the two had ended, and Sadius had reaped significant gains.
"Sadius, where do you plan to go next? Why not travel with me to Leylin City? I know a divine-level expert there who could provide us with some protection."
Leylin City?
So, the city he had passed by earlier was actually Leylin's territory.
"Ahem, Mister Leylin, I think I'll pass. I still have some matters to attend to."
"In this Planar Prison, what could be more important than safety? Leylin City is protected by a Highgod expert; even divine-level beings dare not kill recklessly within its borders."
It wasn't that Sadius didn't want to go with Leylin to Leylin City. After all, having a Highgod as protection would certainly keep him alive.
However, Sadius' goal was to leave the Planar Prison.
In this Godforsaken place, even restoring his internal energy was a struggle, let alone improving his cultivation.
Sadius coughed lightly. In the end, he decided to reveal his intention to leave the Planar Prison to Leylin.
He didn't believe that Leylin had no desire to escape this place.
"Mister Leylin, to be honest… I know of a way to leave the Planar Prison."
Leylin was surprised. A mere Saint-level magical beast claimed to have a way out of the Planar Prison?
Still, he immediately put on a skeptical expression.
"The Planar Prison isn't so easy to leave. If there truly were a way, those Highgods would have already escaped long ago."
"That may be true for others, but it doesn't apply to me. Mister Leylin, you're not aware, but before I came to the Planar Prison, my territory was the Misty Valley in the Magical Beast Mountain Range of the Yulan continent. There, I discovered a massive magic formation."
"You're saying… that was the sealing formation for the Planar Prison?"
"Exactly. I once became the master of the artifact that serves as the formation's core. Because of that, even now in the Planar Prison, I can still sense the location of that artifact. If I can locate the corresponding place in this plane and pull the artifact from the formation remotely, I'll be able to open a spatial fissure and return to the Yulan continent."
"You, Sadius, actually know such secrets; even I didn't." Leylin chuckled.
"Haha, I only discovered it after being exiled here. Thankfully, I had already acknowledged the artifact as my master item. Otherwise, I'd be stuck here indefinitely, waiting to be slaughtered by some other expert." Sadius smiled bitterly.
Indeed, he hadn't expected to be banished by Hodan. Fortunately, he had previously bonded with the Violet Blood God Blade, giving him a chance to return.
He hadn't dared to pull it out before, but now he was eager to do so.
"Sadius, and you just told me all this so casually? Aren't you afraid I'll scheme against you in secret? Or forcibly contract you to make you take me out of the Planar Prison?"
Sadius first showed a frightened expression, then revealed a look of fearless resolve.
"If it were before, I definitely wouldn't have told you. But now, I'm a peak Saint and my soul has mutated. You wouldn't be able to defeat me." Sadius acted supremely confident, doing his best to appear unaware of Leylin's true identity.
Leylin burst into laughter. "Indeed, your strength is no less than mine now. But you could've just left quietly without telling me anything."
"Mister Leylin, I'm not a petty person. Thanks to you, I've made my first breakthrough into the Profound Mysteries of Strength—you're practically half my teacher. Since I'm leaving, I have to at least consider you."
Leylin hadn't expected this Sadius to be such a sentimental and loyal type.
"You're saying… you plan to bring me with you out of the Planar Prison?"
"Mister Leylin, do you still have some attachment to this place? Saint-levels are at the very bottom of the hierarchy here."
"How could I be? Sadius, if you're willing to take me, I would be endlessly grateful. This place you spoke of—is it far?"
"Based on my sensing, it's still several thousand kilometers away. After all, the artifact is located in another plane."
"Then let's depart immediately."
Leylin City.
Leylin's two divine clones were cultivating in the area with the densest elemental essence in the city.
Suddenly, his earth-element clone ceased training and stepped out of the chamber.
"Big Brother, Second Brother—do you two want to leave the Planar Prison?"
"Leave? Third Brother, have you found a way out?"
"Mm. It's quite the coincidence—I ran into a Saint-level magical beast who had just been banished here. I originally planned to capture him for research. Who would've guessed that this guy actually has a method to leave the Planar Prison—and he sincerely invited me to join him."
Leylin's initial intention had indeed been to capture Sadius and study him, especially since soul mutations were extremely rare.
"But Third Brother, even if we leave the Planar Prison… the Yulan continent has Beirut, that Emissary of the Sovereign, overseeing it. Our homeland continent has already sunk into the sea—are you saying we'll live under Beirut's rule in Yulan?"
Some powerful divine experts knew that Beirut wasn't an ordinary Highgod—he was a Sovereign's Emissary.
He possessed Sovereign artifacts granted directly by the Sovereign.
Even Leylin was no match for Beirut.
Of course, the divine-level experts in the Yulan Plane didn't know that Beirut was actually a Sovereign himself. Perhaps only the other Sovereigns in the universe knew the truth of Beirut's identity.
Leylin pondered silently for a moment.
"Right now, my fire-element clone is just one step away from achieving complete mastery—a step that could take billions of years to cross. But with the divine power of my two clones combined, I already have the ability to rebuild our homeland continent in the South Sea."
"You mean… you want to restore our homeland?" The two Midgods were visibly excited.
They constantly longed to return to their original home.
"If both of you wish to return, then my true body will first accompany that Saint-level magical beast to the Yulan continent. Once there, we can make preparations to depart together."
The two Midgods nodded. They could finally return.
At that moment, Sadius and Leylin were advancing toward the location he sensed.
"This is strange. We've been walking for so long and only encountered a few clueless Saint-level magical beasts. Not a single divine-level expert." Sadius commented.
"Isn't it better to just meet Saints? We can dispatch them easily. If we ran into divine experts, we'd be the ones fleeing."
The two continued their long journey.
To conserve energy, they chose not to fly. It was also a way to stay low-profile—after all, Saint-level beings were weak in this prison realm.
After a long while, Sadius finally felt the Violet Blood God Blade's presence grow stronger.
"You're saying… the spatial weak point is just up ahead?"
"Exactly."
They both looked toward a stretch of barren rocky terrain in the distance.
Leylin could sense that this place seemed to be the domain of a lower-level God.
