A young withe haired boy with grey eyes and a lean lightskinned body was sitting on a tree trunk looking at an older looking big man who resembled more a bear then a person cutting some logs.
"William!" the big man shouted.
"Bring me some more wood."
The withe haired boy or as his dad called him william reluctantly agreed. William tried to lift a couple of logs but failed due to having a frail and weak body since birth.
His dad got disappointed in him because William was not good at anything. Unlike himself William wasn't strong nor could he cook like his mother or hunt like his brother. All he could do was needlessly think about stuff and ask questions instead of doing anything productive. Or atleast this is the opinion of Williams dad.
After helping William carry the wood the dad let out a sigh "William to get inside."

After sometime the whole family sat down to eat dinner.
[ Dinner is always one of the scariest parts of my day. While mom's cooking is amazing and my brother Henry is always kind to me I don't think dad really likes me that much. If I ask dad a question now he will most likely get ready mad and lash out on me but my curiosity is killing me I have to know why we light up a fire.]
"Father why do we always have to light up a fire to survive"
Williams dad sighed like he always does
"I don't know the answer to your stupid questions. We always light up a fire its what we've always doen."
"But why are we always doing it, there has to be a reason"
"Eneugh with the questions if I say we do it then we do it!"
After that nobody spoke for the rest of the dinner.
...
"Why is fire a neccessity?"
William tought to himself as he was staring at the chimney.
"Well we do only light the chimney up on specific parts of the year maybe that has something to do with it."
"If we only light up the chimney between December to March then what are the properties of those months? These months are a bit colder then the other months sometimes even the white things falling down (William doesn't know what snow is). What is the correlation between cold and fire?"
William then curiously reached his hand out to the fire.
"Ouch. Why does it hurt so much? I didn't know fire hurts. Now my finger tips are in pain and they feel so warm."
After pausing for a bit William tought
"That's probably it because fire is warm it fights against cold."
William felt as though his understanding of fire had increased."

After sometime William started to experiment with fire. For hours wich turned into days and after one week he finally was satisfied with his results.
William tought to himself that he new evrything to know about fire like its properties of heat and how to extinguish it. Most importantly he finally found out how fire is created. First you need air and something flammable like leafes or cotton then you need heat like rubbing two pieces of wood together or the spark from a piece of flint.
After coming to this conclusion weird letters started to appear in front of William. Although William couldn't read he still understood what was said on the letters.
