Early in the morning the other day. Raven was walking while singing and shouting on her way. She was kicking small plants and hanging some of the branches and jumping. Unfortunately it wasn't her who was in control of the body, it was Ella.
She pickle fruit on her way and walks while eating. She saw a village in front of her as she walks she saw a market. So many people were walking free and buying some items. She was surprised.
"What is this place?" Ella asked herself as she walked inside the gates to have a better look. People were living happy there, there were decorations from the market. There was a huge highway bridge from the village to a huge castle.
"Wow is this a kingdom?" She kept asking herself questions. She saw royal guards riding horses in the streets trying to maintain peace and quiet. She heard people singing and clapping nearby as the was a special festival. She walked to have a closer look, She saw people dancing men and women holding hands while singing. Children in the middle playing.
"Wow, what is this place?" She asked herself.
"Well this is whitewood kingdom" A woman appears beside her and told her. A browned haired woman.
"It's beautiful" Ella said.
"Yeah, they do this every middle of the year, you're not from around here are you?"
"No, I'm just passing by heading home, but I think I will stay here for couple of days. My home can wait"
"Well, it's a free place and everyone is welcomed here, do you have a place to stay over?"
"No, I will just sleep in the streets" That girl laughed.
"Okay, my name is Lexa by the way"
"Nice meeting you, mine is Ella"
"Okay Ella goodbye and see you around" Lexa wanted to walk away Ella stopped her.
"Lexa sorry, do you happen to have any food, I'm starving" Ella spoke Lexa smiled at her.
"Come tag along, I was going to buy some meat and cook, you can stay with me until tonight. Then I will take you somewhere you won't regret" Ella started walking with her inside the market. They head to the shops Ella saw shops with so many spices, vegetables, meat and fishes too.
"Woah, this place has fish?" She asked Lexa.
"Yeah, we have a river nearby there lots of fish there, come we are heading to my house now" They were talking while heading back.
"What about monsters? Do they get in through these walls?" Ella asked.
"No, it's been a century since they came, last time they came they killed a lot of people, and my mother was among them. We despise them and if one caught they usually execute them."
Ella was shocked hearing that.
"But they are strong, and furious you cannot out powered them"
"This place is protected with witchcraft there are lots of spells here if a beast walks in within the people than they are powerless here" They reached Lexa's house.
"Now why don't you rest I will go and prepare a meal?" Lexa asked Ella.
"No, I'm good think I will just stay awake and see how you cook" Ella didn't want to sleep because she knew if she was too sleep then she might not wake up her.
Later on that day noon they set up a table and started eating. Ella was eating a lot she was very hungry.
"Slow down Ella, there's plenty of food"
"Sorry, by the way do you live alone here?"
"Yes, since my mother died I have lived all alone, why do you ask?"
"I have to tell you something, but promise me that you will keep it a secret"
"Okay cross my heart"
"Okay good, I'm telling you this because you are my friend. I mean we are friends right?"
Lexa laughed
"My God you're funny, yes we are friends, you can stay here with me for as long as you want, I can watch your back" Ella smiled.
"So don't freak out, My name is Ella"
"Yes you told me that"
"Okay, I am thirteen years old" Lexa was shocked.
"Thirteen? You look like you're 19 in my eyes"
"That's my point, the person you see in front of you, her name is Raven, but I am Ella I live inside her body" Lexa was quiet for two minutes staring at her
"Is something wrong with the food Ella?" Lexa asked her.
"No, the food is great, wait you think I'm crazy"
"Tell me more please"
"Okay listen, this Raven here is very mean and hot tempered one, she doesn't get along well with people"
"So you mean to say that, there's a time when you are not you, and she's her?"
"Exactly we switch shifts" Lexa took two glasses of water after hearing that then she took a deep breath.
"So how exactly did the two of you ended up in one body?" Lexa had a lot of questions.
"You see Raven here is a beast, her father is a beast and her mother is a phoenix. She was captured and abducted by their worst enemy then she was forced to submit herself into darkness. She was rejecting until the moment they brought me in and they killed me, the devil took my heart and fed it to Raven here. After that darkness took over her and she ate me all of me. Until then we were stuck together. I told her I wanted to go home for my parents, my village. She has to confess everything to them until then I will be able to be at peace." Lexa was looking at her.
"So you saying that she can turn into a beast?"
"Yes a complete beast, but she only turns when necessary because it has been a year since she turned into a complete beast. She only uses her powers because she's afraid once she uses beast than the darkness will take over again and she will do bad things"
"So the darkness isn't gone yet?"
"Yes"
"Okay so where is this Raven, can I talk to her?"
"Okay wait a second let me try to reach her"
"Raven, can you hear me? Raven there's someone I need you to meet. Are you there?" She tried three times but Raven wasn't responding.
"Well" Lexa was waiting.
"I'm pretty sure she's a sleep she's so tired. Yesterday she fought 30 men tonight"
"Okay you know what? Why don't we take some rest then tonight we will head out okay?"
"Okay" Lexa stood up and walks away.
Tonight that day Lexa took her to the bar nearby. People were drinking there was music, games and so much more. They sat on a table and had some drinks.
"This good" Ella was speaking.
"Yes, I mean no, sort of because Raven was the one who likes to drink"
"Okay Ella can we just, can we don't talk about Raven at least not tonight okay?"
"Okay" Lexa stood up and took Ella to a dance floor. They danced and danced Ella was a good dancer she was using Raven's body accordingly.
Later on around 4 the Bar was about to close and they were very drunk. They got out and started walking in the streets going home. 5 men were following them while bullying them.
"Yow new girl, I liked your styles back there, you were killing the way you twirled your waist". Lexa walks to them.
"You should have some manners"
"Look who's talking" that man touched Lexa's waist, Lexa slapped her and hold Ella while started running. Those men were chasing them. They ran but they reached the dead end.
"Where can you run now?" Those men walked to them they started ambushing them while forcing them to take off their closes.
"Raven, please a little help here" Ella started shouting those men were laughing.
"Oh God not now" Lexa was tired of Ella's jokes.
"No one can hear you new girl"
"Raven it's now please wake up" Raven shouted again.
"Will you just shut up and try to find a way out of here" Lexa shouted at her. ('What the hell is this? Where am I') Raven spoke inside Ella's head. Those men were getting ready as they hold them down.
"Good you're awake please a little help here" Ella was speaking to herself people were laughing at her. ('I left you for just one day look what happened') Raven was shouting at her.
"Can you please just take over and we will talk later" Ella closed her eyes and letted Raven to take over. One of the man was going to touch her and removed her clothes Raven opened her eyes and kicks them hardly. As she took out her knives and started stabbing them on their legs. Those men ran away. Lexa walked to Raven and hit her at her shoulder.
"Wow I didn't know you can fight" Raven hold her hands hardly and pushed her towards the wall and blocked her. She was seriously staring at her face while she turned her eyes into blue. Lexa was surprised
"Who are you?"
