The trio, accompanied by the elves that were watching them from up the trees, walk the path through the plain field when they suddenly hear a loud screech from the side. Clad looks to his side when he sees a flying monster coming at the group at unimaginable speeds.

"Everyone, prepare for combat!" The elf guard shouts as he unsheathes his blade, and the others quickly draw out their weapons as well.
Suddenly, one of the creatures sweeps in and goes for an attack, hitting one of the elves and making her lose balance. The elf shouted in pain due to the wound she just received from the monster's swift and deadly attack.
"Sister!" one of the elves shouted as she noticed her sibling had fallen to the ground, bleeding. She ran to her sister's side
"Sister! Are you alright!? Let me help you!" She says to her as she attempts to use healing magic on her sibling, when suddenly, a few of the immense owl-like monsters have started to attack the group of elves relentlessly.
"Dammit!" The elf guard says as he is starting to get tired from the constant attacks, when one of the monsters pins him down to the ground, making him scream in pain and drop his blade due to the impact.
Argh!
As the elf tries to reach for his sword, the monster starts to attack him, wearing down his armor quickly. Fortunately for him, Lylia, who wasn't occupied by any of the monsters at the moment, stepped in to help him. The bird-like creature turned around to look at her, screeched, and ran towards her, heavily stomping the ground as he did so. The monster attempts to eat Lylia whole, but is met with Lylia's superior strength. With both of her hands, she grabs the monster's beak and rips its head off, leaving the elf guard baffled at what he just witnessed.
"Are you alright?" She asks him as she helps him get up.
"Y-yeah, thank you," He says as he coughs blood. But their conversation is short as they see a silhouette rapidly pass them to go towards the kneeling elf that is healing her sibling.
"Watch out!" One of them shouted to her, but it was too late. The monster silently swooped in and took her, flying away from the fight.
"Hilden no!" The elf shouted as they tried to shoot down the creature with arrows, but fearing hitting their teammate, they stopped.
Clad, seeing the flying creature leave with her, decides to take this into his own hands and runs, following the giant bird from the ground.
"I'll handle this!" Clad shouted at the elf before leaving the chase the monster.
"Looks like this will take longer than expected," He thought to himself as he rapidly gained speed following the giant creature.
