During the same time in the neighboring kingdom of Namska, the city had a steampunk-like Appearance, with steam cars and mechanical horses moving around the foggy city streets, when suddenly, multiple shots could be heard from a distance as an elven woman with red hair and a lot of golden jewelry, wearing a dark grey suit with white stripes, with a brown coat that had a golden flower on the side, came running through the busy traffic. The woman was breathing heavily as she ran to the nearest alleyway, pulling out a golden gun with a grey gem inserted in it from the right pocket of her pants.
"Come on, come on!" She said with a hurried tone as she changed the dying and broken grey gem inside of her gun with a new shiny purple one, as a group of men in black clothes with golden armor on top came running in the alleyway.
"Stop running away and give up already, you won't make it out of this alive anyway." He said he unsheathed his blade and slowly walked towards her.
"You want to bet, rat man?" She said with a smirk on her face as she pointed her gun towards him before shooting at him multiple times faster than he could react, killing him on the spot.
BANG BANG BANG BANG!
The Officer's lifeless body fell on the ground as the others looked on in shock.
"She killed Nataniel!" One of them shouted as he pulled out his own weapon, a knife.
"You criminal!, You will pay for this with your life." The other shouted as they all jumped towards the elf at incredible speeds. "Shit!" she thought to herself as she didn't have the time to position her body for another shot, but fortunately enough for her, a man came down from the building rooftop, striking all of them in one single slash of his white blade as he landed on the ground.
[MOON SLASH]!
They cut down bodies fell to the ground as the man, with dark brown skin and black hair, wearing a white suit with white round glasses to match his outfit, and blue eyes that were shining like a gem.
"Are you alright, Laura?" He said as he sheathed his blade.
"Thank you, Swan, I thought I was a goner!" Laura said as she walked towards him before she noticed a familiar figure on top of the roof, bald and with a black beard, and golden chains at his neck.

"Gaus!?" Laura said in shock as he jumped down, landing next to Swan
"Leader, this might not be the time for greetings." He said with a serious tone, as he and Swan came to tell her that the Rat King's army is gaining on them and that they should quickly join the rest of the Mafia before the small territory they secured away from the rat king's eyes gets found out wich Laura agrees with before the three of them notice that the officers are closing in on them but something look odd about them.
Their eyes were purple in color, they all had mindless gazes on their faces, and they kept repeating the words "All shall kneel before the rat king" as they pulled out multiple varieties of weapons, from guns to knives, metal bats, and magic staffs.
Swan realizes that they are outnumbered and tells Laura that they have to retreat, which Laura agrees to.
As they ran, Gaus got shot in the neck, making him fall and bleed out on the foggy streets. "Gaus!" she said in shock, but they had to run away, so she held back her emotions and continued to run from the officers. As they ran, Laura realized something while looking at the people around, "Why aren't they reacting?".
Swan looked around as they ran, and he, too, realized that the people seemed not to care in the least about what was going on, as if they were hypnotized by something.
