Chapter 20 - 20

Well, if he really comes to New Mexico, I'll definitely be able to find him." Phil Coulson put away the sketch.

"He will come, it's just a matter of time." Nick Fury said, "Remember, he is very important."

"I understand, sir." Phil Coulson turned and left, even though he still had many questions in his mind.

But asking questions is not what a good agent should do. Carrying out the orders of the commander without any compromise is the quality that an agent should have.

If he had not experienced life and death with Nick Fury, the relationship between them would be far more than that of a superior and a subordinate, and he would not have mentioned those issues before.

"Hill, you must have grown up listening to the stories of Captain America Steve Rogers, right?" After Phil Coulson left, Nick Fury called Maria Hill over again.

"Although I'm not as fanatical about Captain America as Coulson, yes, I know all the stories about Captain America, including the comics, movies, and novels based on him. I've basically read them all," said Maria Hill.

"What would you think if I told you that Cap was probably not dead?" Nick Fury asked.

"Sir, the captain has been sacrificed for almost seventy years." Maria Hill's first reaction when she heard this was disbelief.

"Has anyone seen Captain's body?" Nick Fury asked.

"Sir, is the captain really not dead?" Maria Hill thought about it and realized that it was true. Captain America's body had never been found.

"I have reliable information that Captain is very likely still alive." Nick Fury said, "Hand over your other tasks to others. From now on, you are only responsible for this one thing: finding Captain!"

"Yes!" Maria Hill took the order and left.

After Maria Hill, it was no longer one person but two people who walked into Nick Fury's office: Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton.

The status of these two people in Nick Fury's eyes is different from that of others. For example, although Nick Fury is absolutely confident and trustful of Phil Coulson, he will not tell everything to them. But for this pair of "elite killers" who will join the Avengers in the future, Nick Fury has no scruples and can talk about anything incredible.

"Barton, how's your digestion?" Nick Fury asked as soon as he saw Clint Barton.

"Sir, I know it's impossible for you and Romanov to lie to me together, but what Romanov told me is too hard to accept." Clint Barton shook his head. "Myths are true. God will invade New York with an army of aliens, and then another god will fight us. The most improbable thing is that I shot you! Sir, how could I shoot you? It's absolutely impossible. Even if I died, I would never shoot you!"

"Barton, you were controlled by Loki at that time, that was not you," said Natasha Romanoff.

"Romanov, please tell me that today is April Fool's Day. What you told me before was just a joke." Clint Barton grabbed Romanov's shoulders and said, "This is ridiculous."

"Barton, this is the Green Goblin skateboard I got as a reward for answering a quiz." Nick Fury opened his phone and showed Clint Barton a photo. "It's in Tony Stark's lab right now. You can come and see it for yourself anytime. If you do go, remember to also take a look at the new armor there, the Mark 7 armor, which was also a reward for answering a quiz."

"Sir, what do you need me to do?" Clint Barton asked after a moment of silence.

"Two things. The first thing is to tell you to be prepared. You may be asked to answer questions in the future." Nick Fury said.

"Can I answer the questions too?" Clint Barton was stunned.

"It's still very possible," Natasha Romanoff said. "The three people who answered the question this time—Fury, me, and Stark—are either members of the Avengers or founders. We're all connected to the Avengers, so as a member of the Avengers, it's very likely you're one too."

"Then I really want to see this answering space." A hint of anticipation flashed in Clint Barton's eyes. According to Natasha Romanoff, this answering space plays with time and space and seizes the future. It is simply a unique wonder in the world.

"Barton, the second thing is, there's someone who may be very important in the future. I need you to find him." Nick Fury walked up to Clint Barton.

"Is it that Doctor Strange?" Clint Barton asked. Natasha Romanoff told him about the answers in great detail, so he made this guess.

"Yes, Doctor Strange, Stephen Strange, I want you to find him." Nick Fury paused and added, "But I only know his nickname and name about this person. I can't give you anything else. Just do your best."

"Yes, sir." Clint Barton took the order and left.

"Should I go meet the big guy then?" Natasha Romanoff had a basic idea of her mission. After all, Nick Fury had said this when they were in the question-answering room.

"You go see him first, but don't bring him here for now. I don't want him to destroy another street in New York." Nick Fury sat back in his chair.

"Am I going empty-handed?" asked Natasha Romanoff.

"No, you have to bring enough people with you," Nick Fury said. "Search for experts from around the world. Bring along any scientists, doctors, yoga masters you can think of, even JK Rowling to tell him bedtime stories. Bring along anyone who might be able to help Dr. Banner!"

Boom boom boom!

There was a knock on the door.

"Romanov, go ahead. If you need anything, feel free to contact me." Nick Fury waved his hand and raised his voice, "Please come in."

"Sir." The heroic Agent No. 13 Sharon Carter came in front of Nick Fury.

"I have a mission for you. Secretly investigate Alexander Pierce..."

In this way, orders were issued from Nick Fury one after another, and people were sent out one by one by Nick Fury. The information obtained in the answering space kept Nick Fury busy.
