Aozaki Reiji tossed his long hair and turned to walk out.

The newly appointed Eleventh Division Fourth Seat, Ichimaru Gin, was waiting outside the Eleventh Division Barracks gate, accompanied by two others.

One was a beautiful and handsome man with long hair flowing over his shoulders, wearing Shinigami robes and carrying a Zanpakuto at his waist.

The other man was quite heroic, dressed similarly to the first.

These two were the former Second Division Sixth Seat and Eighth Seat, Ryusui and Izumo!

They were now the Fifth Seat and Sixth Seat of the Eleventh Division!

After the battle with Kenpachi Kiganjo, the Eleventh Division suffered heavy losses, even their Vice-Captain was killed in action.

When these two were transferred to the Eleventh Division, their positions not only didn't decrease but actually got promoted.

However, they weren't poached by Aozaki Reiji from the Second Division, but rather voluntarily applied to be transferred to the Eleventh Division.

When Yoruichi learned of it, she seemed to have anticipated it and didn't say much, so Aozaki Reiji simply accepted them.

Currently, the Eleventh Division was short-handed, and since they were willing to come help, Aozaki Reiji saw no reason to turn them away.

In fact, besides these three, many Inspection Team members also wanted to follow, but Aozaki Reiji refused them all.

The Inspection Team had already suffered heavy losses this time; if they were to follow, the Inspection Team might as well be disbanded.

Neither the rest of the Shihōin Family nor Yamamoto would allow such a thing to happen.

Ichimaru Gin and the two others bowed slightly and respectfully said:

"Captain Reiji!"

"Lord Kenpachi Aozaki!"

Aozaki Reiji waved his hand, a smile playing on his lips. Although he had obtained the title of "Kenpachi," he had no intention of changing his name. If he had to give a reason, it was because he felt the name "Kenpachi Aozaki" didn't sound good.

"Stop playing these games. Let's go see our lovely Eleventh Division Squad members."

"Let those who pride themselves on their martial virtue see the spirit of our new Squad members."

Ichimaru Gin's smile remained unchanged.

Ryusui and Izumo exchanged a smile: "We won't let Captain down!"

......

At noon.

The sun was bright, and the sky was filled with wispy clouds.

Golden rays of light pierced through the clouds, casting large patches of light, and the high walls of the Eleventh Division Barracks shimmered under the sunlight.

"This place doesn't look bad at all. I thought Kenpachi Kiganjo would have turned it into something like Rukongai."

Aozaki Reiji, clad in a white haori, walked to the gate of the Eleventh Division Barracks, enjoying the sensation of the breeze on his face.

To have such a breeze on a hot summer day was truly refreshing.

"Kenpachi Kiganjo has always been hands-off and doesn't know how to manage a Squad. The Eleventh Division's affairs have always been handled by the Vice-Captain."

Ichimaru Gin glanced at Aozaki Reiji and reminded him:

"Now that the Vice-Captain has died in battle, the one temporarily in charge of handling Squad affairs should be Third Seat Ikkaku Madarame."

Aozaki Reiji met Ichimaru Gin's gaze, stretched lazily, and grinned: "What a coincidence. It seems I'll have to trouble you all from now on."

"..."

Just as Ichimaru Gin was about to retort, Ryusui and Izumo spoke in unison: "Please rest assured and leave it to us, Captain!"

Ichimaru Gin shook his head helplessly; these two were completely beyond help.

Aozaki Reiji grinned: "Very good. Then you two must help Ichimaru Gin well in the future."

"Yes," the two replied respectfully.

He still didn't let me off...

Why does he trust me so much? It's exasperating!

Thoughts flashed through Ichimaru Gin's mind, but his gaze was fixed on the nearby courtyard.

"Ha!"

Even through the thick walls, powerful shouts could be heard.

"As expected of the Eleventh Division, the Gotei 13's combat Squad. The Squad members are very diligent."

Aozaki Reiji smiled and patted his shoulder.

Ichimaru Gin withdrew his gaze, let out a soft breath, and shook his head:

"It looks like managing them will probably be very troublesome."

Aozaki Reiji glanced at him, his expression suddenly becoming serious.

"Ichimaru... to manage them, strength is the most important thing. Let them see how formidable we are."

"The Eleventh Division has its own rules. Don't let your position as Fourth Seat be taken away on my first day as Captain."

"I won't disappoint you," Ichimaru Gin nodded, speaking softly.

Hearing Aozaki Reiji's words, a warmth welled up in his heart.

Aozaki Reiji chuckled softly: "It's good that you understand. I wonder how the Eleventh Division will welcome us this time?"

According to past custom, the succession ceremony for the Eleventh Division Captain needed to be witnessed by the Squad members. Aozaki Reiji killed Kenpachi Kiganjo, but no one saw it, so even with Yamamoto's backing, it might be difficult to gain their approval.

Ichimaru Gin smiled: "I hear those guys are very stubborn. Forget welcoming us, they might even sweep us out."

Aozaki Reiji stretched his wrists and neck, saying excitedly:

"Then I can't spoil them either. Naughty children must be properly educated; they need to feel the Captain's authority!"

"Then you shouldn't overdo it," a cool voice interjected.

Lisa Yadōmaru walked quickly from not far away, holding a stack of documents.

"Asking people from other Squads to help manage a Squad... In all my years in the Gotei 13, you're the first, Captain Reiji."

Aozaki Reiji smiled indifferently:

"Don't say that, Miss Lisa Yadomaru."

"It's because the Eighth Division manages the intelligence work of the entire Gotei 13."

"I need to understand things clearly before I can poach people from other Squads."

"If other Captains heard that, they would definitely give you a good scolding," Lisa Yadōmaru said crossly.

"Thank you for your concern, Miss Lisa Yadomaru."

Aozaki Reiji moved closer to Lisa Yadōmaru and smiled slightly, making her cheeks flush.

"But there's no need to worry; replenishing the Eleventh Division is the Old Man's intention."

"No matter what, as an important combat Squad, such a severe lack of mid-level combat power is very dangerous in war."

"I won't be arrogant, nor will I risk my life!"

Lisa Yadōmaru pursed her lips, wanting to say something more.

Ichimaru Gin, beside her, suddenly reminded them:

"We've arrived."

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone looked up.

They saw the two guards standing before the wooden gate, which had the characters "Eleven" written on it, looking conflicted.

In the end, they seemed to decide to give the new Captain face in front of outsiders and respectfully bowed in greeting.

Upon entering the Eleventh Division Barracks, they saw Squad members diligently training.

The deaths of the Captain, Vice-Captain, and several Seats seemed to have no effect on them at all.

In the Gotei 13, the Squad that most revered martial virtue saw death not as a blow, but as something that ignited their fighting spirit!

Aozaki Reiji led his group through the Squad Barracks.

The Eleventh Division Squad members ignored Aozaki Reiji and the other three, silently continuing their training.

"These guys are too much! How dare they ignore Lord Aozaki!" Izumo said indignantly.

Ryusui didn't speak, but his expression was also very displeased.

Ichimaru Gin's expression remained unchanged, but everyone else could feel that his aura had become colder and more dangerous.
