Could so much Origin of Destruction really be granted to other Emanators?

Even Celenova, whom the Aeon of Destruction most frequently employed, and her already-dead predecessor Zulo combined, had never received such an overwhelming bounty of grace.

In a sudden moment of clarity, Phantylia felt as though she truly understood the phrase "a knight dies for the one who knows them." Even though she had long resolved to serve Destruction for all eternity, this time the emotions of her starfire essence erupted with unprecedented intensity.

"Being favored so deeply by the Aeon, this subordinate will surely repay it with all I have, bringing endless war and flames to the Luofu!"

She kowtowed heavily, swearing an oath to the god she worshiped. "Until the Xianzhou falls—or until this subordinate dies!"

"Very good." Nanook's emotions did not shift in the slightest due to Phantylia's impassioned vow, as though this were nothing more than a trivial matter.

Even Phantylia herself accepted this as only natural. This was how one ought to respond when serving a divine master.

Yet she had no idea that, deep down, Aha was already bursting with joy.

Watching Phantylia perform such a grand prostration, THEY laughed inwardly with the lowest, most shameless delight imaginable.

Hahahaha—success, success, this is way too successful!

Yes, yes, bow a couple more times. Louder, louder.

Hahaha, if I revealed my true form right now, this little spark's reaction would be absolutely priceless, wouldn't it? Hahaha!

Unfortunately, having personally directed such a grand performance, THEY could hardly end it right after the curtain rose.

Tricking someone else's Emanator into fighting yet another faction—that was true comedy.

Aha kept a stern expression, shook THEIR head slightly, and said, "No need for such formalities. Rise. I still have one final reward to bestow upon you."

Upon hearing this, Phantylia's joy grew even greater. There was more?

Drinking a single bottle of [Tastebud Obliterator] had already brought her such tremendous benefits.

If she drank another bottle, might she receive double the grace?

After obtaining so many powerful gifts in such rapid succession, Phantylia's state of mind had undergone a dramatic transformation.

Not long ago, she would have rather died than drink a second bottle—yet now she found herself regretting it.

If every time came with rewards like this, let alone one or two bottles, even ten or eight would be sweet as nectar!

Unfortunately, divine gifts were always granted only as blessings.

Asking for more now would likely turn her into a fool.

"Please instruct me, my lord."

She listened intently, anticipation filling her heart.

By all logic, the item revealed last would naturally be the most powerful of all.

That meant this thing could surpass even the Origin of Destruction?

This… was difficult to imagine.

Aha spoke with divine authority, THEIR voice filling the entire space.

The sound rolled like massive ceremonial bells, striking directly into Phantylia's ears.

"The previous items were all meant to enhance your personal strength. This final reward, however, is an entirely new source of combat power."

"They are the two most resilient lifeforms, the most terrifyingly adaptive learners, and the most destructive feral beasts in the entire starry sea—retrieved from the unseen abyss."

"If their full combat potential can be unleashed, destroying the Luofu would be effortless."

With that, Aha clenched THEIR fist sharply, as though the Xianzhou Luofu had already been crushed in THEIR palm.

Phantylia did not think this was mere theatrics.

The Aeon never acted directly, but no matter how brilliant mortal civilizations might be, to THEM they were no different from glass that shattered at a touch.

For that very reason, THEIR assessments of power were almost never wrong.

Which meant that these purely wild beings could surpass ordinary Emanators through their own strength alone?

Otherwise, how could THEY claim they could destroy the Luofu?

She could not help but cry out, "Below the Aeons, there exist creatures like this?"

Yet upon hearing of such assistance, Phantylia found herself not entirely pleased.

Because two versions of herself could never destroy the Luofu—put another way, these two beasts were far stronger than she was.

Then… would she be reduced to serving as their subordinate?

Aha saw through her concern and spoke plainly.

"There is no need to worry. Their growth still requires time. I have brought them here now so that they may obey your command."

Phantylia beamed with delight. "Thank you, my lord."

"No need for thanks. Look."

Aha pointed before her. After a shimmer of prismatic light, the outlines of two creatures slowly emerged.

Phantylia held her breath, staring at them with intense focus.

Although the Aeon had said they were still weak, the implication was clear—they would inevitably surpass her in the future.

What kind of razor-clawed, ferocious monstrosities would they be?!

She would have to seize the opportunity and nurture them from an early stage, taming and cultivating them carefully.

With the support of these two supreme beasts, the other Annihilation Lords would have no chance of competing with her—this was the perfect tool to cement her position in Nanook's esteem!

The prismatic light grew more solid.

Finally, at the peak of Phantylia's excitement, the excess radiance went bang, bursting apart as the two "ferocious beasts" were fully revealed before her eyes!

They were… a perfectly ordinary blue cat, and a brown mouse.

At that moment, they were curiously surveying their surroundings, shading their eyes with their paws—moving in perfect synchronicity, as though carved from the same mold.

Then… they looked at her as if she were an idiot.

This—this wasn't what had been promised at all, was it?!

Phantylia's expression stiffened abruptly. Her neck craned forward, brows trembling faintly.

She pursed her lips, her gaze flicking back and forth between the cat and the mouse. Yet after a long look, she could not detect even the slightest hint of combat power from them.

This… could it be that I'm being toyed with?

Because the gap between these creatures and the sun-devouring, moon-swallowing monsters she had imagined was simply too vast, she nearly shouted those words on the spot.

Fortunately, she had not forgotten that the Aeon stood right before her, and forcibly suppressed the impulse.

Even so, for a fleeting instant, she wondered whether the Aeon before her might be an impostor.

But she immediately mocked herself for her paranoia.

That Origin of Destruction was unquestionably real—who could fake it? And who would be willing to pay such an immense cost just to deceive her?

She must have been mistaken.

Still, that did not mean she had come to terms with it.

Phantylia pointed at the cat and mouse, hesitating as she spoke, "My lord, forgive this subordinate's crude perception. I humbly ask that you spare the time to explain how exactly they are meant to fight, lest I misuse them and cause their needless deaths, wasting the effort you took to retrieve them from the unseen abyss."
