Doctor Su understood her feelings and nodded. "Okay, then we will start with language classes, sensory training and personal training. There will be some other courses, but I will discuss them when we start them."
Han Ruochen nodded as she understood the principle of letting the children get used to studying before adding more burden to their schedule. Because her brother couldn't speak, she couldn't even go to kindergarten. In that case, she might as well add more classes to his timetable.
Han Ruochen allowed the experts to take her brother away while she went to pay the fee. On average, each class costs five yuan. There were three classes a day, which meant that she needed to pay fifteen yuan every day. Because her uncle was not at home, she didn't bring any money from the little fortune that she had made; instead, she paid the seventy-five yuan from her own salary that she had earned.
As for the rest, she told the nurses that she would pay the remaining money tomorrow. The entire course would cost her more than three hundred yuan, and in the nineties, the capital wage of a normal worker was only a few dozen yuan; it was no surprise that many people left autism unattended and untreated. If she didn't have the sea scanning system, maybe she too would have to think twice before sending her brother to the hospital for treatment.
Expert Su didn't have many patients and was now calmly teaching Han Beijiang and the other five children who were sent to the hospital.
Han Ruochen sat by the door with the other parents and waved at her brother every now and then to comfort him. It seemed to be working because Han Beijiang, who was nervous in the beginning, slowly started to exercise along with Expert Su. he did a good job in the sensory training, where he played with some toys and tools that were used to teach coordination.
Once the classes were done, the child looked really excited, and his face was flushed red. He looked quite energetic.
When the children were taking a break, Han Ruochen found Expert Su and asked, "Doctor Su, what should I do as his guardian once we return home? I would like to know if there is something that I can do."
Doctor Su was really happy when he saw that Han Ruochen was so active in dealing with Han Beijiang's condition. "Beijiang is really lucky that he has you, Miss Han. Not many parents participate in the treatment actively." He still remembered those rich jerks from the capital whom he often called out for not paying attention to their children.
And yet neither of them listened to him; if anything, they blamed him for not putting any effort into treating their child.
Han Ruochen simply smiled upon being praised. "Since I have decided to take on the responsibility, I need to work hard and see it through."
Doctor Su nodded and said with a smile, "After you go back, ask the child a few questions, and it will be better if you follow the balanced diet sheet that we will be giving you. Your brother is severely malnourished, so take better care of him." Doctor Su didn't say a few things, but he understood in his heart. After all, he had seen all kinds of cases, including the ones where the parents would abuse their child for being born an idiot when they were fine. In the eyes of many parents, such children were a stain on their perfect family. Thus, it was not a surprise that they were often beaten and abused behind closed doors.
Han Ruochen didn't correct Doctor Su, as she knew that this information would sooner or later come in handy for her. She simply smiled and nodded as if she were helpless.
Doctor Su then continued telling her about a few more things, such as letting Han Beijiang sleep on time, as well as the importance of communicating with him. She noted everything down and asked questions whenever she thought it was necessary. When Doctor Su saw that Han Ruochen was so serious, he gave her a book on autism that could help her understand Han Beijiang more.
Han Ruochen was not at all reluctant and even thanked Doctor Su for his generous gift.

Soon, it was time for Han Beijiang to leave the hospital. Han Ruochen was quite happy with his performance and asked, "Beijiang, do you want to eat beef noodles? The one that we had during the New Year's?"
Han Beijiang paused and, to Han Ruochen's delight, shook his head. However, she didn't want to overwhelm the child and calmly asked, "Then how about the mutton chops and fried shrimp rice? You liked it the last time we ate it."
This time, there was no response, but Han Ruochen knew that no response was better than a straight-up no. She was not disappointed and decided to take Han Beijiang to the restaurant where she usually went. However, before heading to the restaurant, Han Ruochen took a detour and went to the school where she worked, as she had some important things that she needed to take care of.

"Miss Han?" Principal Duan was surprised to see Han Ruochen coming to the school. He had long heard what happened between Yuan Jianming, Han Ruochen and Han Ziyan. Thus, he was surprised to see Han Ruochen coming to the school. He blinked his eyes and set down the pen in his hands. "What are you doing here? Are you doing alright? Is something the matter?"
As if he were worried that Han Ruochen would blame him, he hurriedly said, "Miss Han, don't worry. We have already sent a report to the higher-ups. The disciplinary committee will soon announce Yang Jianming's punishment, and with the crime that he has committed, I am sure that they will fire him from his post. We cannot have a man with such crooked thoughts and attitude teaching the children. Who knows what kind of teachings he might impart to the children?"
