Chapter 24 - CHAPTER 23

 ~TOMORROW AT 2~

Next morning when everyone woke up, I (Wateen) woke up last since we slept so late and I was tired. Raffy slept, but I couldn't stop overthinking, so I woke up at last. When I woke up, everyone was dressed up and staring at me while holding their phones—it felt like I was a Disney princess. I got up, threw my blanket off, and was heading to the bathroom when Maheen screamed,

"Wateeeeen, stooop!"

I froze. "What happened?" I shouted back, panicking.

"Where were you both last night?" Maheen asked.

I glanced at Raffy; he gave me a silent 'no' signal. I looked back at Maheen, then again at Raffy. We both chuckled, and I ran to the bathroom. I could hear Maheen teasing Raffy, "If you two are secretly dating, just tell us—we'll support you! We ship you both!"

I laughed inside the bathroom and murmured, "We're not secretly dating; we're secretly finding my husband, because Mr. Raffy is very obsessed with my husband," rolling my eyes. Meanwhile, Raffy ignored everyone's questions.

When I came out ready, the room was empty. "RUDE!" I shouted, realizing I was the only one left. I threw the towel from my head onto the bed, whistled, did a little dance step, and started brushing my hair. Suddenly, I heard Raffy laughing.

I turned and found him sitting on the corner of the bed, recording me.

"HEYYY! What if I was going to change my clothes?" I shouted.

He smirked, "Then I would be lucky for recording that."

I hit him with my brush. "You deserve it! Why are you here?"

"I forgot my phone," he replied casually.

"Tss," I rolled my eyes.

He teased loudly, "WHAT? You were expecting me to wait for you?"

I smacked him again. "Nooo, go away!"

I pushed him toward the door with both my hands. "Go away, Raffy!"

He laughed, pretending to stumble dramatically. "Fine, fine… but don't miss me too much."

I grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. He caught it midair, smirking. "You're violent, Wateen."

"And you're annoying," I shot back.

He winked before slipping out of the room with his phone in his hand, leaving me with half-brushed hair, and a smile I couldn't hide.

It was night already, and we had enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. In the evening, we visited many places, soaking in every moment. But deep down, we all knew—this was our last night in Switzerland. Tomorrow, we had to return home, as our winter holidays were coming to an end.

**Next Day:**

We all headed back. That night, we all stayed at Maheen's place. It was already late, and since her house was spacious—nothing like a cramped hostel or apartment—everyone got a room. Maheen divided us up, and in the end, I had to share with Raffy again.

During dinner, Maheen suddenly said, "Tomorrow, everyone be ready. We're expecting a very special guest."

Zara immediately asked, "Who is it?"

Maheen just smiled mysteriously. "That's a secret. But trust me, this person is really important."

"When will the guest arrive?" Ayan asked.

"Tomorrow at 2 p.m. sharp," Maheen replied.

Raffy groaned and rolled his eyes. "By then we'll already be gone."

But Maheen shook her head. "Nope. None of you are leaving until you meet them."

I laughed and agreed, "Yeah, of course we're staying. We're not going anywhere."

Zain chuckled. "Honestly, Raffy, you only listen to Wateen."

I smirked and added, "Obviously—if he doesn't, he'll end up doing all the hostel chores alone."

Everyone burst into laughter, while Raffy just glared at me playfully.
