~The Message at Midnight~
Finally, the result day arrived. My heart was pounding so hard I thought it would burst out of my chest. We all sat together, refreshing the page again and again. Then—there it was.
We both passed. 🎉 Raffy had scored higher than me, of course. He jumped up, hugged me, spun me around and shouted, "WE DID IT WAFFLE!" His happiness was louder than fireworks, and for a moment, I forgot everything else in the world.
But then, Raffy suddenly excused himself. He told me he had to meet his colleagues to celebrate and share the news. I believed him… until hours later, his mother showed up. She looked so radiant, holding my hand warmly as she said,
"Beta, Raffy told us everything… that you two love each other, and that you've both agreed for marriage."
I froze. So that's where he went—straight to his parents. My cheeks flushed red, but I nodded. "Yes, Aunty. I agree."
Her eyes sparkled, and before leaving, she kissed my forehead. My heart fluttered. It was all becoming real.
Since it wasn't considered right to stay together before marriage, I shifted to Maheen's house. Maheen, Ayan, and I spent our days laughing, gossiping, and teasing each other endlessly. Of course, they never missed a chance to make fun of me about marriage.
And Raffy? He was out of control. Calling me almost every hour, asking,
"Are you okay? Did you eat? Do you need anything?"
I scolded him through the phone, "Raffy, stop being dramatic! I'm fine!"
He only laughed and said, "I can't help it. I miss you."
One day, he even showed up at Maheen's house, pretending, "Uh… I came to meet Ayan." 🙄 We all knew the truth. When he left, my heart was tearing in two. I wanted to run after him, but Maheen stopped me, reminding me,
"Behave. We have to follow elders' traditions."
At night, lying in Maheen's guest bed, I kept staring at my phone. Raffy and I video-called for almost half an hour. His sleepy face, his voice, his smile—how could I not ache to be near him?
Finally, I hung up, set my phone aside, and tried to sleep. That's when it buzzed again. My lips curved into a smile—I thought it was Raffy sending another "I miss you" text.
But it wasn't him.
It was an unknown number.
The message read:
"Don't trust him. He is playing with you."
My smile vanished instantly. My chest tightened, and I just stared at the screen, my mind spinning..

DEAR READERS!
I think i'm losing interest in writting. As i can't see any appreciation if i am writting good or not. So, i'm thinking to stop writting. But after stopping writting my dream will be in-complete. But as long as you want it, I'm okay!. show support if you want me to write more otherwise its the last chapter. SORRY! i couldn't write good :(
But check my other story "Hell's Bride" if you like it i can continue writting that too. But only if there is support and comments.
As i am a teen-ager and it is too difficult for me to make time for writting for you. I'm usually very busy in college and study and other activities but i sacrifice my sleep for you. But still there is no response. I know i'm acting immature but that's the real me. I feel like i'm unwanted and forcing you to read!
BUT REMEMBER YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY IN-COMPLETED DREAMOF BEING YOUR FAV WRITTER :(
Good Bye ... My loved ones :(
