After this we had breakfast, a light conversation. She was mourning the fact that her duties are still laid off. And I reassured her that she will be free once I defeat the Devil King, and that till then, we needed to make the most of the situation. Then I promised her that it would be alright, if we just saw eachother every morning and every sunset. This was a guarantee, something to look forward to.
And so we finally departured, she no longer held me back from working, she was reluctant, holding me for a while before finally letting go.
The world outside was wonderful, rain pouring...
From there, work was plentiful, I had the idea of making a few more farms, particularly for coffee and for sugarcane, and also a factory for brown sugar and molasses, and from there maybe rum.
I went in town left hand in the pocket and went to the florist. "Good morning!" I called proudly.
"Good morning, Svetislav!" The man smiled as he spot me.
"By any chance, do you have coffee or sugarcane?"
"I might have many plants, but not these much exotic. Though if you want I can connect you with a merchant who sells those."
"Sure, where is he?"
"He's not far away, at the market actually, the first stand on the right is his." Argos explained, making hand gestures along with his words.
I nod. "Thank you. Have a great day." I said before leaving.
"You too."
And so I headed out to the merchant.
"Good day, gentleman, are you the merchant who sells stuff from the tropics?"
"Oh, Milord, I'm honoured to be meeting you, yes, indeed I am."
"Svetislav is alright, no need for the formality." I waved my hand.
He nodded once. "What can I do for you?"
"Could you import me some sugarcane, as well as some coffee, as in seeds. not many, even just one is fine. And for the sugarcane, bring me the sweetest cane they have."
"Alrighty? Honestly that's hard to calculate the price of, do you want anything else with it, or?" He looked at me weirdly.
"No, here's one hundred thousand, you can deal with the rest." I say, laughing to myself as I handed him a pouch full of this exact number.
"Holy!" He exclaimed as he took it. "Are you sure?"
"Yep. So when should I expect it."
"If I teleport now, I can literally hook you up with what you want in a few minutes." The merchant said, shrugging a bit.
"Do that then."
"Alright, you don't mine watching over my stall while at it?"
"Nah, go ahead." And so I sat there for a bit while the merchant did his thing.
About thirty minutes later, he finally returned.
"Took a while, but I got what you need."
I smiled and took it as he handed the things I asked for. "Thank you very much. Also you got a lot of people to deal with." I said as I pointed with my thumb to the line of people that formed while he was out.
"Wowwy, also, I got you an extra thing, cuz fair trade. Lime." He handed me another seed.
"Thank you!"
And so I left, leaving him to do his job.
I got on Acat and drove back to the desert, where I began with the building. First was a coffee plantation, which would be run by my extensions. And then there's a sugar cane plantation, the whole thing is inbued with a code which allows the sugarcane to grow to it's maximum, before stopping and waiting for the contraption to move and cut them down leaving a bit on top, so it can regenerate on it's own. The excess is transported to a factory, which strips and crushes the sugarcane for it's juice, the juice is set to boil and then allowed to rest, leaving crystalized sugar and melasses as a by-product. The molasses is then placed in another basin, mixed with water and yeast and allowed to ferment the sugar, finally it's distilled, allowing me to bottle the rum, some are left to age.
Then I moved onto the coffee part, the ripe fruits are picked off the tree by my extensions, turned into information and then transported to another factory, where they are peeled and then cooked. Then finally they are ground into a powder... I need to starm making paper, or cardboard...
And so I did, I had too much wood anyways. The wood is debarked, crushed into fibers and finally washed and pressed into a sheet of paper. The drying process for me is pretty easy, just transform all it's waters into information. Then I layered them... Sadly no glue... I need glue for this... Therefore glue factory... An idea came to mind - that I could use slimes for this, if there is a poison slime, then there has to be normal slime. Maybe I can make jelly candy out of them. UGH! Too much work, I will make it a goal some other day.
With that, I retired for the day, going back home to rest. At least this time I didn't get a headache from standing in the sun... Because there was no sun! It was raining! In the desert. Damn I'm lucky.
This weather got me all emotional. I sat on the balcony in bliss, listening to the droplets that fell on the leaves of the trees I had planted... It was lovely. The smell, the gloominess.
I sat there, enjoying some iced tea, now that I had actual sugar for it, and watched.
The sunset came and so did she, her gentle steps came from behind as she wrapped her arms around my shoulders from behind. "Hello, my love..." She said gently.
I placed a hand on her arm. "Good evening, darling."
"What are we eating tonight?"
I leaned my head back, looking at her upside down. "Eh, we will figure it by what we have in stock... Fruit salad is a must, given we are overrunning... Maybe some wine... But first, come and see how I do it."
I decided to take her to watch me make the tiny wine factory happen in the winery. Threw my coat on her to protect her from the rain, although the water disolved in information just before It could reach me. Kind of reminded me of when you try to fight the bad guy in a dream, but your punches slow down... I'm the villain in that situation.
She was adorable as she hid under my coat, holding onto me as I held it above her head. "You are adorable." I said with a serene smile.
She smiled sweetly.
"Even more now." I said looking forward. We crossed the bridge and after a bit more of careful threading between the little flower beds, we reached the winery's front porch.
There I welcomed her, opening the door, the air was still, a bit dusty even, but It wouldn't be soon. I took her to the room opposite of the front door and began with the process, laying out the starting point, then came the second part, the conveyor, the grapes were transported to a press, where all their juices were drained out, before the mush gets transformed into information, feeding the next batch of grapes that were still on the vine. That juice then gets mixed with yeast, and finally i pour it into bottles which get closed and then roll into a special chamber, which converts all the gasses and air while rapidly aging the wine. In the end, it converts all that isn't wine into energy, clearing the impurities just in case.
She wasn't necessarily too invested, but she put up a curious act for me as to not neglect my call for attention.
And so I sit at the end of the conveyor belt, the bottles rolling towards a box which would transport them to my astral storage, but before it goes all the way, I grab one, open it and take a sip. Fine red wine. "Wanna try some?" I asked. "Tomorrow Imma check up on Aqua and get her opinion on it."
She nodded once as I handed her the bottle, before she took a little sip. She approved of it immediately. "Perfect!"
"Yippee."
She chuckled lightly, and so after this we went back to the house, where we fried some cabbage, since I had no meat on me, and then a fruit salad as well as a cup of red.
"So... How was your day? Cuz it went pretty well for me... I could already feel a difference, better flowing mind." I asked, cutting and eating a bit of the cabbage.
She scratched her cheek for a moment. "Oh, my day? It went well... I was daydreaming a bit though... but nothing major." She placed her face on her hand, looking through her lashes out the window, her attention clearly not on the food.
She was so beautiful, my attention taken away as I looked at her with adoration.
After dinner we cleaned the dishes, after which we moved to the living room, where we rested for a bit, before I decided to go take a bath. She stopped me, and came in with me, undressing in front of me, just how I did for her. Unlike yesterday, I wasn't hypnotized by her body, though I would lie if I said that she didn't have an effect on me.
Today we cleaned one another, more boldly, more freely, no longer were there sudden outbursts, but subtle cares.
As we dried up and I lied first in the bed, she got ontop of me, unlike before. This took my breath away, though I had no resistance set for her. She looked at me with shimmering eyes, there was no sadness, only longing. "My love... I feel curious..."
"About what?" I asked tilting my head slightly.
"This..." Her voice came out as a whisper, her lips moving up to meet mine, in a tender, yet hesitant kiss, before it grew like a wild fire. Every touch, every gesture, every pose, it was enchanting.
Her kiss deepened quickly, and soon her hands trailed to my shoulders, steadying herself. My restraint wavered. I had intended to let her explore gently, but here desire was intoxicating, irresistible.
And so it happppened again.
The hours blurred into heat and whispers, the sound of rain fading against the windows. Her curiousity had turned into craving, and I found myself swept up in it, surrendering to her need.
When we finally collapsed together, breathless and spent, I could already sense the truth forming in my mind: this wasn't going to be controlled. She had tasted the sensation and wanter more.
And I... was dangerously close to wanting the same.
And so the next morning came... I was the first to wake. Looking down at her peaceful expression, her head resting on my chest, her hair like silk against my arms. I let this moment hang until...
"Mmm..." she murmured, shifting a bit closer. Her eye lids opened, and she looked up softly at me. "Good morning."
"Morning." I replied, temptation already crawling back into my thoughts. My hand stayed at her waist, fingers trembling as I controlled myself. She was too tempting in this position.
"You know how to make me forget about everything else..." She said, gazing deep into my eyes.
"Yeah..." I say with a smirk.
With that we went to the kitchen, she dressed in her nightgown. Even during breakfast she looked distracted, and so was I, just a tiny bit, but enough...
"Do you want to plant the cherry?" I asked, maybe that would get both of minds off of this.
She smiled and nodded. "Yes."
And so that was what we did, I lead her to the centre of the garden, where I was about to dig into the ground, but she stopped me, digging it herself and leaving me the job to lay the pit.
This indeed took both of our minds off of what was distracting us. Love truly is the cure to everything.
Today I decided to upgrade the winery, making it an all purpose alcohol factory, including a few new stuff: cider and rakia, because I was feeling experimental.
The cider was pretty nice, it was sweet, and the rakia - Uh, just how I remembered it. As people in my old world that drank it an didn't like it - it's fire water. Although, as work ran scarse... My mind began to drift back... This distraction wasn't over yet, and it was still here to torment me in her absence I was trying to do what I truly desired.
That night the same happened, after dinner we took a shower... but unlike the two other times, we didn't even wait... I was the one who initiated it this time...
Then again... Then her.
And again... Then me in the morning and then the night...
and again...
All until I just couldn't... This has grown into a cycle of eternal consumption. There was no love in it, only lust, yes we gave each other ourselves, we are partners for life... Even though we might be excused, that doesn't mean that it's alright. We had lost all respect for eachother's bodies, searching new and higher highs.
Neither of us were capable of functioning properly, because all we could think of is this sensation.
Tonight I felt sick of myself, instead of thinking of this sensation, I think of what it brought me. And it was shame... That I have forgotten why love was made in the first place, to share joy, to be lucid while doing so and show one another affection.
She crawled over me, graceful and feline, her hair falling forward like a curtain of silk. Her lips brushed close to mine, hungry, insistend, and for a moment I almost let myself drown in her again.
But something in me snapped awake.
I raised my hand, halting her advance. Her eyes widened, worried, confused, her breath catching. "Is everything alright? Did I do something wrong?" she whispered the last part, as if not wanting to hear the answer. Her voice was laced with genuine uneasy and fear.
I reached up, brushing her cheek gently with my thumb. "No... it's not you..." I said, my hand dropping as I looked away in shame. "It's me."
Her brow furrowed, confusion flickering.
"I've been blinded," I admitted softly. "Blinded by my lust. These past few nights... I could have hurt you with my roughness. I forrgot the meaning of why intimacy even exists between two people. I let desire consume me, and I'm sorry. Truly."
Her lips parted, her expression wavering. She didn't speak at once - and in that silence I saw it dawn on her, the realization of her own complicity. The way her curiosity had turned into craving, how her eagerness to fell what she'd never felt before had carried her into the same spiral.
"I... I see it too," she whispered finally, her voice breaking. "I was no different. I chased the feeling, over and over, because I'd never known such pleasure. I let it control me... and I lost sight of why I'm with you."
I took her trembling hands into mine, grounding her. My voice grew firm, but my gaze stayed soft, forgiving. "Then let us stop here, before it poisons what we've built. I don't want to just consume you. I want to cherish you. I want to appreciate you for who you truly are - not just the flesh, but the soul I've vowed to protect."
Her eyes filled with warmth, with regret, and with love. She leaned her forehead against mine, closing her eyes.
"Let's renew our vows," I whispered. "Not in ritual, not in flesh - but in spirit. Let's promise that we'll control ourselves, that we'll remember the difference between love and lust. Otherwise we're no better than animals."
Her breath shuddered against me, her tears wetting my skin. But when she lifted her gaze, there was a radiance in her eyes that outshone all shame. "Yes. Let's promise that. I don't want to lose what we have - not to weakness, not to desire. To you, I give myself again - not as a slave to pleasure, but as your partner, your beloved."
I kissed her forehead, pulling her down into my arms, holding her close - not for passion, not for lust, but for love. For the first time in days, the silence between us felt whole again,, and our closeness... pure.
