Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Mechanic mayhem

The world is not always as it seems, sometimes the world throws curveballs that are not easy to dodge. Like when you think you are out of danger then you realize that you were standing in the danger zone all along, but enough of all this danger that and this the world isn't as it seems. Let's begin with the story of Atlas Vortex. Unlike his surname Vortex, he wasn't truely as strong as a vortex he was rather plain. Atlas was a 20 year old with brown eyes and brown hair. His hair wasn't always the cleanest, but he really tried to keep his hair clean. The reason his hair was always dirty was because of his work. Atlas was also not the strongest, he was slim for his age. Atlas was a mechanic, his father bought Atlas his own workshop. He did not want to be a mechanic at first, but it grew on him. Everyday he would change his clients's tires and work on their engines, after he was done with his work he would close up his workshop. Atlas looked into his workshop at the green oil stained walls, the greesy concrete floor. His spanners still scattered all over the floor, but he wasn't going to pick them up. He grabbed the steel door and dragged it almost completely shut, but stopped when he noticed something inside his workshop. He hurriedly pulled up the chain connected to the steel door up and ran into his workshop. There in the corner of the workshop he noticed a small grey being with four fingers, he was shocked by it's sudden appearance. The small grey being came closer to Atlas, but Atlas was so scared of the small grey being that he fell into the pit that he used to work under his clients's cars. He got completely knocked out by the fall, he woke up four hours later after his father shook him awake. His dad said "I thought I lost you, you were out cold. I went looking for you when you didn't come home, you scared me son. Tell me what happened right now.". Atlas lifted his head and he was taking in his father's appearance, his father had brown hair and brown eyes. He was a lot more muscular built than Atlas, his forearms were already tripled the size of Atlas's. His father was still in his military uniform, Captain Peter Vortex was written on his name tag. Atlas knew his father worked for the military, but he never ever asked his father about his work. His father was too secretive, it was here in southern Texas that the teachers taught the children too never ask their parents about their work. Atlas looked at his father and said "I was closing up when I saw something move inside my workshop. I quickly opened my workshop again and went in to check what it was, there was this small grey being with four fingers in the corner. He was staring at me with his deadbeat eyes, when he stepped closer to me I stepped backwards. I was already at the edge of the pit and fell backwards into it". His father looked at him with concerned eyes and said while wiping his eyes "You must have hit your head pretty hard, imaginary small grey beings don't exist". Atlas looked at his father and said "I know what I saw and it wasn't my imagination". His father shrugged and said "If you insist it was not your imagination then I can't stop you.". Meanwhile in the alley next to Atlas's workshop a butchered black bag with grey blood on it was hanging from a nail in the wall. Ding. Atlas and his father both heard a ding in their heads. A message appeared in front of both Atlas and his father's eyes, the message said "Welcome idiots your personal leveling up system has arrived". Atlas and his father both looked at each other and then heard a whistling sound coming from the sky, they looked up to see a gaint rock threating to exterminate all live. The gaint rock crashed into the Earth and knocked Atlas and his father unconscious. To be continued...
