Chapter 126 – Minato's Final Will
"Room…"
A pitch-black sphere expanded instantly, swallowing both the Nine-Tails and Minato inside its boundaries.
"So you came too, Yusuke," Minato said with a faint smile, blood trickling down from the corner of his lips.
"I was late… Minato-nii," Yusuke replied, his voice low with regret.
"No need to blame yourself, Yusuke. You told me once, remember? That this path was my own choice," Minato said calmly.
"Still, I won't just sit by and watch you and Kushina-nee die," Yusuke muttered, clenching his fists.
"It's too late. When the Nine-Tails was extracted, Kushina lost nearly all her life force. Her body can no longer contain it. And as for me… I've already used a forbidden jutsu," Minato explained softly.
"Yeah, I figured. But I still believe there's a way. If both of you die here, Kakashi will hate me forever," Yusuke replied with a bitter laugh.
"Die, Kushina!!" roared the Nine-Tails, its voice a booming wave of fury.
"Shut your mouth, you damn beast! Looks like you're begging to be put down."
Yusuke's eyes sharpened, and in the blink of an eye, a crushing pressure slammed the Nine-Tails down into the ground, rendering it motionless.
"You bastard! I'll kill you!!" the beast howled in rage.
"Kushina-nee, release the chains. I want to teach this mutt a lesson," Yusuke said coldly.
"…Alright." Kushina's voice was faint, but firm. The adamantine chains binding the beast vanished.
"DIE, YOU LITTLE—!"
The Nine-Tails lunged with its massive claw. But Yusuke didn't move. Hands in his pockets, he stood calmly as the deadly claw closed in. And just before it made contact… the beast froze mid-swing.
"…That's it? What, didn't have breakfast?" Yusuke scoffed, disappearing and reappearing right at its side.
"Conqueror's Haki Infusion. Ryūō Infusion."
His fists turned jet-black, coated in an aura like black petals, crackling with dark lightning. He struck the Nine-Tails with bone-crushing blows, each hit shaking the beast's massive frame.
"Don't act like you're some untouchable god of destruction. You're just a violent brute. Take this!"
The barrage continued, until the beast's roars turned into weak groans, and its monstrous chakra began to fade.
Watching from the side, Minato and Kushina couldn't help but pity the Nine-Tails.
"…That's enough, Yusuke. I need to seal it into Naruto now," Minato said urgently.
"Why does our child have to bear this burden…" Kushina whispered, her voice breaking. No one understood the pain of a Jinchūriki better than her.
"We don't have time, Kushina," Minato said gently.
"Relax, Minato-nii. This space is completely isolated from the flow of time. As long as my chakra holds, we're safe. I can maintain this Room for a full day if needed," Yusuke assured him.
Minato let out a helpless sigh. I'm dying here, and this guy still has the nerve to joke around…
"Kushina, listen. I believe in our son. Just like Jiraiya-sensei said, Naruto is the Child of Prophecy. Someday, the Nine-Tails could become his strength… not his curse. It will protect him—not destroy him," Minato said, eyes full of hope.
"But his childhood…" Kushina bit her lip, trembling.
"Don't worry, Kushina-nee. If anyone tries to hurt Naruto, I'll kill them—no questions asked. I'll make sure his childhood is full of joy. As long as he's with me, he'll never be alone," Yusuke vowed.
"No, Yusuke," Minato interrupted firmly. "Naruto must remain in Konoha. I don't want you near him as he grows up."
"Minato…" Kushina said softly, clearly worried.
"Hah… you're really afraid I'll corrupt him, huh?" Yusuke chuckled.
"I'm jealous of you, Yusuke. You live freely. But everyone has their own path. I want Naruto to grow up and choose his own way—without influence. I believe he'll change the world. So please, let him walk that journey alone, at least until he becomes a ninja," Minato said, his voice steady.
"…Fine. I'll respect that. But remember, Naruto is still my nephew. If I find out anyone—villagers, elders, anyone—mistreats him like the old days… I'll erase everything in Konoha," Yusuke warned coldly.
"…Thank you, Yusuke. On Naruto's behalf," Kushina said, bowing lightly.
"No need to thank me."
"Alright then, Minato-nii. Once I release this Room, the Shinigami will claim your soul. But don't worry. I'll bring both of you back someday. Use your chakra now to leave Naruto a final message."
"Alright. Kushina, let's begin."
"Reaper Death Seal!"
Minato sealed the Yin half of the Nine-Tails' chakra within himself.
"Eight Trigrams Sealing Style!"
The Yang half was sealed into baby Naruto.
As the final seal settled, the Shinigami claimed Minato's soul. Kushina's life force was nearly gone as well.
"Blue Flame of Resurrection."
A soft blue-green flame flickered in Yusuke's hand, wrapping around Kushina's fading body. As long as the flame endured, she would live. He restored Minato's body and sealed both of them in his private dimension for safekeeping.
"Big bro, you're back?" Kakashi's voice came from behind.
Yusuke turned. "Yeah, Kakashi. This is Minato-nii's son—Uzumaki Naruto. Watch over him. Make sure he never suffers… especially not at the hands of the villagers. I'll take Minato-nii and Kushina-nee with me. Just tell the Third Hokage I handled everything."
"And make sure the village elders get this message—if they don't want me to return and wipe this place clean, they better behave."
"…Got it, Nii-san. But… Minato-sensei?" Kakashi's voice wavered.
"He's safe. Trust me," Yusuke replied. His eyes no longer bore the Rinnegan. After obtaining the Devour-Devour Fruit, his eyes could shift between all forms—Sharingan, Mangekyō, Rinnegan, or back to normal at will.
"Everything will be fine, as long as I'm here. Say hi to Dad for me. Kushina-nee and I will take a little time before returning. Later, Kakashi."
Yusuke's form began to fade.
"…Nii-san." Kakashi watched him disappear, eyes glistening.
"Kakashi, you've become a fine ninja. I'm proud of you. Take care of our father, alright?"
And with that, Yusuke vanished completely. There was so much more he wanted to say to his little brother, but now wasn't the time.
Over the years, Yusuke hadn't just been playing around with Tsunade. He had been completing his system's missions one by one.
Before Ōtsutsuki Kaguya could awaken, he had to reach a level of power that could rival the gods themselves. Just being a Sage wasn't enough. The warning from Black Zetsu and that mysterious cube had shaken him to the core.
The Ōtsutsuki Clan… could even manipulate time itself.
There was no room for hesitation.
He had to keep growing stronger.

Meanwhile...
Yusuke returned to his temporary hideout, where Tsunade and Shizune were waiting.
"…Yusuke? What happened?" Tsunade asked, noticing the heavy expression on his face.
"Kushina gave birth. The Nine-Tails was unleashed," he said quietly.
"What?! Take me back to Konoha immediately!" Tsunade shouted, panic in her voice.
"Relax. I've already handled it. Honestly, even if you were there, there wouldn't be much you could do," Yusuke teased.
"Ugh, don't underestimate me! I'm a Kage-level shinobi!" Tsunade snapped.
"Alright, alright. Our Tsuna-chan is the strongest, I know. Anyway… I need to leave for a while."
"…Where?" Tsunade asked, suspicious.
"That's a secret. I'll tell you when I get back. But it's important."
"…Is it dangerous?" she asked, worried now.
"I'll be fine. After all…" Yusuke smiled faintly. "I'm the strongest."
