"Oh come on. I just want them to rest in peace. Is that too much to ask?" Rye lamented immediately he saw the portal open a couple of feet away.
He ran and grabbed Yash, as he dragged him away. He noticed Yuno and Elmo were coming to.
"What happened?" Elmo asked.
"All these people are dead? Lava what were you up to?" Yuno asked looking around at the scattered bodies around him.
"Guys!, guys!," Rye called out to them.
Yuno and Elmo turned around and saw the forger dragging bodies through the portal.
They turned back at Rye with a frown.
*Chime*

[Floor (3) Boss Slain]
A screen popped up in front of Yuno and Rye.
Yuno looked at Rye and knew he was staring at the screen.
'He must be a floor boss or captain,' Yuno thought, he quickly looked away when Rye looked in his direction.
"Help me move these bodies," Rye commanded and Yuno and Elmo looked at each other.
"Why?"
They both asked, Rye dropped the bodies, and sighed.
"To give them a proper burial," Rye said in a much higher tone done he intended.
"I thought you of all people would understand," he added looking at Elmo.
"I understand your sentiment but I have seen what happens to people who refuse to let go," Yuno said looking at the bodies around him.
"No this is different," Rye said defensively.
"This is just their first death, they would be reborn by the forge. Stronger, smarter, more resilient," Elmo explained.
"There are some things I need to do before we become a level of the floor," Yuno announced and walked away. Elmo followed him.
Rye proceeded to drag Yash away then saw the forger dragging away Juvita.
With Juvita in one hand and his hammer in the other. The forger walked to his portal dragging each on one side.
Rye ran to stop him. The forger swung at him instantaneously. Rye stopped but he was already too close. He leaned back letting the hammer brush his forehead.
Blood from his forehead ran down his nose as he watched the forger walk away. He shivered as his heart banged against his chest.
'Why won't my leg move?' he thought as the forger walked through the portal
'The last time I felt like this was when I met Rasol,' he punched himself in the thigh but it did not help.
He sat on the floor when the forger disappeared through the portal.
He panted for a while.
"Get a hold of yourself Rye. Your auto regeneration will not let you die," he said to himself, and got up.
The forger walked through the portal again. Immediately he froze, he grabbed hold of the blade of his sword.
He held on too tightly that blood dripped down the blade. The pain snapped him out of his shock.
He walked toward the portal and looked back at the forger. He walked through.
"Who goes there!"
A voice echoed through the room.
