Kriss and Kross blinked, their body walked up to their heads. They picked them up, they exchanged heads when they realised they had the others' heads.
They placed them on their necks and their tissues merged with no scars.
The next day at Papale's hideout.
Rye woke up. He quickly picked up his sword then gently set it down. He walked out and saw Palale. He was doing sit-ups, his muscles strained with every turn.
"Do you know how to do magic yet?" Papale asked without looking back.
"Magic, I am not a mage. I don't think I even have an affinity for magic," Rye replied.
"Just try," Papale said in a commanding tone.
Rye put up his hand, "Fireball!"
Nothing happened, with his hand still up he yelled icicle then lightning.
"See, nothing" Rye scoffed dropping his hand and sitting on the ground leaning against the wall.
"You need to know what kind of mage you are. You can't just mention spells just because you saw a mage say it," Papale walked over to him and helped him up.
As Papale spoke he saw an idea form on Rye's face.
"System!" Rye called out the system screen appeared in front of him.
Unlike the system notification screen. This one was more saturated. It has a Health Point bar, a Magic Point bar, and a Skill Point bar.
All these were tucked on top of each other at the top right of the screen. On the left was a Stat dropdown button.
Rye tapped it.

~Perception - 20
~Endurance - 50
~Charisma - 100
~Intelligence - 30
~Luck - 120
'Am I stupid?' Rye thought. Papale tapped him and he looked at him.
"Are you okay? I have been calling you for a while now," Papale said.
"I am fine, was just focusing."
"You don't have to figure everything out at the moment," Papale tapped on his shoulder and walked away.
Rye tapped on the health point bar.

He tapped on the magic point bar but unlike the HP bar, it did not change. He then touched the Skill Point bar.

Rye touched the cardinal and a map appeared. In his immediate vicinity were two dots. One of the dots moved while the other stayed still.
Immediately, Rye moved the still dot also moved. He chuckled as he realized what it was. He closed the map and suddenly realized his MP had reduced.
He opened the map again, and this time he kept his eye on his Magic Point bar. He watched as it drained in real time.
He closed it and realized his Skill Point bar had also reduced. It was not significant as the MP bar but he noticed.
"This is a cheat, Skill consumes both magic points and Skill points," Rye lamented.
