Kyson's guess was precisely right.
Because of the state of emergency and the notice from the government, everyone is heading to the city hall.
That includes drivers of public transport vehicles.
Thankfully, because the government already knows that the situation will become like this, they already made some fixes.
"Brother, are you heading to the city hall?"
At this time, a truck with a few military soldiers drove by and stopped in front of Kyson.
Looking up to the truck, Kyson found that there were a lot of civilians sitting inside the truck.
Turning his eyes to the friendly soldier who talked to him, Kyson nodded.
"Alright, come on up."
Hearing that, Kyson was confused. But after a moment of thought, Kyson still went in at the back of the truck.
Once he is seated, Kyson can't help but ask the other civilians here about what this is about.
After a short conversation, Kyson understood what was happening.
Since everyone is going to the city hall today, the local government arranged some government and military personnel to help with transportation.
Through this, even those people who live in rural areas like Kyson can comfortably come to the city Hall.
After learning this, Kyson gave a thumbs up to the government in his heart.
Since there's nothing to do while they are traveling, the civilians inside the truck chatted among themselves until they arrived at their destination.
"Everyone, we're here."
As those words came from a soldier, the truck finally came to a stop.
Everyone stepped out of the car and saw that they were already in front of the city hall.
After getting off the truck, Kyson thanked the soldiers before heading inside the city hall.
It's already 7am at this time and there are already quite a lot of people inside.
Kyson looked at the ticket in his hand with the number 203 given to him by the guard when he entered.
This is his number in line for the registration.
Currently, the one being handled is still only at number 25.
From the looks of it, it will take a while before gets his turn. This also means that going back home immediately is out of the question.
"Hays, I guess it can't be helped."
Saying that, Kyson just sat down on a nearby empty seat.
Just as Kyson was thinking of closing his eyes to rest, a voice brought him back.
"Kyson?"
Hearing his name being called, Kyson turned his head to the source of the voice with a frown.
He saw a man who seemed to be passing by looking at him with surprise.
When he saw Kyson look at him, the man suddenly smiled and said,
"Wow, it's really you, Kyson!"
Approaching him, the man stopped in front of Kyson and went for a hug.
But before he even managed to do so, Kyson held his head and pushed it away.
"Don't be disgusting, Jay."
"Hahaha, man, you really never change."
The man called Jay laughed it off and didn't take it to heart.
"So, you also decided to register today?" Kyson asked.
Jay nodded as he sat down beside Kyson.
"Yeah, I want to finish early, you know."
This national registration, also called the player registration, is going to be held for a straight week.
This is because it is impossible to accommodate all the citizens in a city in just one day.
Thanks to that, there's really no real hurry for the registration.
Similar to Jay, the reason why Kyson came on the first day was to finish his registration early.
So, he nodded and said, "Yeah, it would be much better to end it early than to continue wasting time and delaying it for no reason."
Jay agreed to Kyson's words.
Then, he turned to Kyson with a curious look and asked,
"By the way, did you already choose your class?"
"Yeah, what about you?"
"I already chose mine as well. What class did you choose?"
At Jay's question, Kyson answered honestly.
"Beast Tamer."
"Beast Tamer? You really picked a class like that?"
Jay looked at Kyson with surprise.
In response, Kyson asked, "Yeah, what about it? Is Beast Tamer not a good class?"
"I don't know. But you know, right? Even in games, it's a hassle to develop a Beast Tamer. What's more now that it's a reality."
Hearing that, Kyson understood what Jay meant.
Just as he said, Beast Tamer are indeed hard to cultivate, especially in the early part.
Because in order to be a Beast Tamer, you need to tame a beast.
Without a beast, how dare you call yourself a Beast Tamer?
Now, here in reality, if you want to get a good beast, you can only go out into the wild and try taming those plants and animals that have gone through mutations.
If not, you can only pick some cats, dogs, or other domesticated animals as your beast and hope that they turn into powerful beasts somehow.
Anyway, both choices seem bad wherever you look.
However, this kind of thing doesn't have anything to do with Kyson.
At least for now.
…
Kyson shrugged and didn't care about what Jay said.
Instead, he asked, "How about you? What class did you even pick?"
Hearing his question, Jay suddenly showed a mysterious smile.
"My class? Hahaha, okay, let me tell you."
Looking around, Jay started acting sneakily and moved closer to Kyson.
Kyson looked strangely at Jay and immediately became curious at his behavior.
He perked up his ears and listened closely to what Jay was about to say.
Without keeping things in the suspense, Jay opened his mouth and said,
"My class is Crimson Warrior."
After saying that, Jay moved back and watched Kyson's reaction.
When Kyson heard Jay's words, he paused for a moment.
Then the next second, realization appeared on his face. He turned his head to Jay and his eyes seemed to ask whether it was true or not.
To which Jay just nodded with a smug smile.
