Skyler's POV
I sat in my room staring at the white wall while trying to think of what to do now that I was sent away. There must be something that I could do, I just want to understand why he would do this to me. After everything we've planned together and after all the trouble I had gone through just to bring her back to him. He was going to ignore all of that so easily and bring her back to the kingdom.
That was the worst feeling that I had ever experienced. It felt like something was weighing on my chest and my throat felt dry. I had been crying for hours and now all that was left in me was anger. I was angry because he promised me a life I would never regret.
