Why would they suddenly ask for my clothes? That was uncharacteristic of them and not only did I find it weird that they were asking for my clothes, they were also expressing their gladness over the situation at the kingdom.
Something felt oddly wrong as I sat down deciphering what could be the case, I started to realize how the message came almost after the chaos even with the fact that Skyler was gone with Noah. I couldn't find them anywhere and the guards believed that she was hiding somewhere no one could find them.
What could be the cause? I gasped as it suddenly dawned on me. Could it be that they also have a hand in this? They had never shown me any love and instead, they tossed me into marriage with Liam and despite everything he did to me, all the abuse and maltreatment, they still wanted me to remain with him because of the power they got from being the in-law to the king.
