The meeting.
The loud sounds of trumpets blowing, alerts everyone in the castle upon the arrival of the four grand chief advisors. from the four cardinals of the kingdom.
They were led by two maids to the castles meeting room to see the king.
They went through the castles grand hallways which by the end of it was a large brown door with gold and silver linings guarded by two hefty guards .
" He's waiting for you " one of the guards said with a stern look on his face before opening the door.
The guards statement seem to have sent shivers down their spine.
The advisors went in, a large room with a very long table at the middle of the room surrounded by 16 tall chairs of which one was an armchair, the most biggest of them all, at one end of the table, made for the king himself. A glowing Crystal chandelier was hung high above the table. There were several pillars surounding the place in a circular pattern. The door was shut immediately behind them.
" How dare you keep me waiting " a husky voice echoed in front of them. It was from a man standing in a shadowed corner of the room resting his back against a pillar with his hands folded. with long jet black hair stretching down to his waist, dressed in an all black long coat, black thick leather boots with gold designs across it, and black leather gloves on his hands.
His face was barely seen since he was in the shadow.
" we're s...so..sorry your majesty " they stuttered in fear as they bow their heads down to show respect.
" I don't like being delayed! And you know that. " The man said again as he walked slowly out of the shadow into the light. His facial features was now seen clearly.
From his charming dark blue eyes to his pointed nose, fair skin. A few Strands of his hair was littered on his face.
" it wasn't our intention to your majesty..... we're deeply sorry " one of the advisors said still bowing his head.
The man said nothing further but to humph and walk to the kings chair by the table.
He sat on it, threw his right leg over the right arm of the chair, arched his left elbow on the left arm of the chair and rested his head on his fist with a bored expression.
" You can all take a sit " he gestured for them to sit in a sluggish manner.
The advisors did as he said.
" Your majesty, Prince Neil, we recieved your message for an urgent meeting? " the first advisor started.
" Yes. " Neil replied as he adjusted himself to sit up.
" In the absence of my father, the king, I have taken full responsibility. And I have decided there should be no in and out movements of people in the kingdom from tomorrow.... unless there's a good reason for it, aside the importing and exporting processes no one is allowed to cross the boarders understood? " Neil narrated and asked not really expecting an answer.
" but Prince Neil, why have you suddenly made such a decision? " the second advisor asked in confusion.
" I have my reasons its left for you to carry it out " he answered.
" Now if you would excuse me, I have somewhere else to be " he added as he stood up and left the room. Leaving them in confusion.
" I thought we're meant to give advices and not be bossed around like puppets?... I mean what is the term 'advisor' for ??" The third advisor whispered to the others as he glared at the seemingly ignorant prince.....
The Prince roamed the large halls until he was stopped by the princess. Samantha, dressed in a bright red dress that displays her feminine figure stretching all the way to the ground. As red is her favourite colour. Her long Brown hair compliments her beautiful face.
With her long eyelashes and Brown eyes.
" brother " she said with a weak smile.
" always frowning. It's sickening to not smile you know...." Samantha teased.
Neil wasn't in the mood for any games she hoped to play at that moment so he attempted to walk around her but she stopped him again by standing in front of him.
" so are you going to smile or not ?. " she asked again.
There was still no response from her brother so she heaved a sigh and asked a different question.
" how was the meeting then? "
" it was ok " he reluctantly answered staring at her as if to give her the impression that he doesn't want any more questions.
Samantha noticed his expression.
" don't you dare give me that cold guy, minding my business, bored of everyone look brother! " She blurted out a little pissed.
Neil couldn't help but arch a brow, sigh and throw his hands in his pockets.
" Don't you know the right time to talk to people ? Huh Sam? " he asked.
" so what now ? I'm bugging you ? I'm a pest? Is that what you're trying to say ?" Samantha asked continuously with fake tears in her eyes.
Neil pinched in between his brows not that he's surprised with his sister's behavior. He has gotten used to her ability to trouble him when he's idle. And in this case she needs something from him if not she wouldn't bug him this much.
" so what do you need from me Sam? " he asked.
Samantha wiped the tears away and smiled
" finally..... I want to help you choose a new maid! Since your old one no longer works here ".
" is that it ?" Neil asked with a stern look. Samantha nodded her head with a smile.
" fine you can do that if you want " he smiled slightly.
In the middle of their discussion, a guard walked up to them with a bow.
" your majesties you have a visitor in the garden waiting to see you"
" A visitor ?" She asked " who can that be?"
" it's miss Ta..."
The guard was cut short by a feminine voice that echoed behind him.
" Oh princess!!! "
