Chapter 20 - 20, Unknown power (2)

Chapter : 20

Unknown Power (2)

--------------------------

"hehe… you are here to destroy me...?"

A voice, filled with the sarcasm and playful mock, reverberated through the entire planet, as if it wasn't from a mortal but from an immortal, or even greater unknown.

The pair of infinitely vast black and white eyes locked onto the place where Qing Tian performed his ritual.

Then, without warning, an ocean of thunderous power descended toward the Desolate Mystic World.

That single strike was so terrifying that even a nearby dead plane, countless abandoned stars realm without protection from the Heavenly Dao, was reduced to dust in a blink of an eye.

The thunder fell with an unstoppable might, surging straight toward the Qing Tian and Song Yan.

Qing Tian slowly raised his head and looked at the thunder coming toward him.

His pupils glowed crimson as an overwhelming killing intent surged out, and it was thick enough to dye the heavens themselves in the blood red.

The sheer pressure of his murderous intent will alone formed a barrier around the entire Desolate Mystic World, like it is meeting the apocalyptic thunder head on and holding it back.

The world shook. Mountains crumbled, seas roared, yet the Desolate Mystic World endured behind Qing Tian's killing intent.

From above, the voice of the great eyes thundered like law itself:

"You devil… how dare you trespass here?"

Qing Tian's lips curled into a cold, detached smile. His voice was like the edge of a blade, cutting through the heavens:

"Hmph… perhaps I am a devil. But even so… I am far better than your rotten system. At least i won't kill someone from from crossing space-time"

After that, he walked straight into void.

Leaving Song Yan body, covered in the runes.

The void above the Desolate Mystic World cleaved apart like torn silk as Qing Tian leapt into the skies, radiating a silver white light from the every pore of his body unstoppable by any force present in the univrse itself.

His once pale hair now completely cascaded out of the top of the void in brilliant silvery tones that shone forth like the starry river of universe.

A small smear of his crimson pupils, tore through the void and spliting into two parts of the heavenly dao eyes, determined and oppressive.

Two colossal Heavenly Dao Eyes gazed down upon him in chromatic, their black depths lined with immeasurable silver brilliance. Each blink could crush universe.

Each ripple of their gaze could collapse order of reality itself.

"Beast," the voice said, reverberating throughout the void.

"You dare to defy the heavens? You have no fear for obliteration!"

Qing Tian's lips twisted into a smile, not of any human, or god, but something much higher, something much more abstract, thta no one could understand.

He raised his palm and the void trembled.

Killing intent flooded upon him, weaving into threads that quickly band together into a blood colored domain.

A Realm of Slaughter pulsed forth with growing blooms like a crimson lotus clashing with infinite stars.

"Fear...?" His voice was steady, but his essence churned like a tempest ripping reality to shreds. "I only fear I wont kill enough."

The first strike arrived from the Qing Tian.

 BOOOOMMMMM!!

From the eyes fell a beam of law itself, Judgment Lightning, it is wide enough to eradicate civilizations.

Qing Tian stepped forward, hand raised, condensed a spear of pure killing intent, with shape born of millions of resentments, sorrows, and defiance of all mortals, across the whole world.

The spear pierced the lightning like an arrow. The lightning shattered into a million pieces, like fallen stars.

The shockwave flattened realms, turned realms into void storms comprising or chaos.

Yet the Heavenly Dao Eyes remained unperturbed.

It blinked once, only for the shattered lightning to reconstitute, now twice as large.

"You cannot contend with eternity," the voice boomed, reverberating as if many heavens spoke simultaneously.

"Otherwise, there is only anhilation for you is left."

At this, Qing Tian's aura blazed brighter. His hair flowed through the void ever so slightly. His body glimmered with silvery light and was cloaked in a crimson killing aura that seemed impossible to hold together in a fragile duality of royalty and madness.

"Eternity...? Hehe..." his laughter was skin crawling, rejection of arrogance boundless.

"Eternity is just a cage you made. I will tear apart your eternity. And I will make my own!"

With that, he charged forward.

The void opened as Qing Tian's image turned into a fog of blood and light, crashing into the coming law.

Each nuance departing from an icon signature for heavenly decrees, a shrug of an icon heaving in demise, while Qing Tian's spear seemed to rip apart all symbols of fate and karma, raining down even yet like chains of reality.

Every strike against the Heavenly Dao Eyes never seemed to slow, if a symbol of destiny was injured, a strike came right back down.

Judgment Thunder, Chains of Destiny, Void Suppresion punished Qing Tian endlessly like the ramifications of calamity and chaos reserved for devils.

The void had already been tossed into turmoil.

Stars cracked like an old facade, and more planes had splintered like thin glass.

What had been a battle between Qing Tian, and the Heavenly Dao Eyes was now a destruction of the very fabrics of reality.

Each strike of Qing Tian's spear tore away the chains of destinies, and each blink of the Dao Eyes rewove a fated existence, only to tear it apart once again.

BOOOOMMMMM!!

The void shuddered when Qing Tian's scarlet lotus of slaughter slammed once more in a fierce collision against the raging thunder of judgment.

The blast lit up half the sky, as reality tore open a wound in an otherwise sacred space, a void storm that swallowed the world including sound.

Blood poured from Qing Tian's mouth, the silver and crimson mingling, mirroring his unstable essence.

His body cracked, bones shattering under the weight of being rejected by heaven; however, his fingers did not waver even once on the shaft of the spear.

The murderous intent of his being burned like the sun reaching the end of its life.

"You cannot kill me!!!" His roar echoed in the shattered worlds.

The Heavenly Dao Eyes were trembling as well. Cracks spread further across the infinite, releasing even more of that cursed eerie silvery blood.

For the first time in countless eons, heaven itself bled. The voice boomed, but weaker now:

"Beast of defiance… you are not supposed to be…!"

"Yet… I am." Qing Tian twisted his smile into madness. His silvery white hair flowed like an ocean of divinity, and the dying stars in his eyes were bright crimson with slaughter.

"And that alone is enough to rip you apart from eternity it itself!"

He drew upon what little energy remained in the core of his being. His murderous intent erupted, swallowing stars, even the world's cries.

The shaft of the spear blazed with relentless resentment, sorrow, and reckless defiance. He thrust it directly into the heart of the Heavenly Dao Eyes.

At the same time, the Dao Eyes focused all of its strength into one strike, combining judgment, fate, and eternity into a single, crushing ray of destruction.

 SPEAR AND LAWS MET.

The Universe… froze.

Then broke.

The explosion ripped apart the Void, folding heavens, erasing stars. The explosion of divine and devilish strength threw Qing Tian backward, blood spewing from every wound.

His spear shattered into red fragments of light. He felt his body crack like porcelain, ready to splinter into a million pieces.

The Heavenly Dao Eyes screamed without a mouth, breaking open further, silver ichor gushing across the Void, blackening entire planes. It dulled, as its brilliance dimmed for the first time in unimaginable cycles, as a misgiving clouded its authority.

Neither side achieved victory.

Both bled. Both shattered. Both fell.

Qing Tian plummeted from the sky falling like a shooting star ablaze in the Desolate Mystic World like a firework down to the ground, crashing and leaving a crater so big it swallowed entire mountains.

He didn't have a blemish on his body was unconscious; his hair still silver, his aura faint but still emanating a dear old friend, the aura of the noble of the defiance.

Meanwhile above, the Heavenly Dao Eyes were flashing with violence like a wild lander as if it wanted to explode, and slowly started to close.

The booming voice shook the sky like someone kicked it:

"This is not… the end… beast… of defiance…"

The eyes finally disappeared, leaving only silence and ruin.

The stillness that followed the implosion was crushing.

The void, fragmented and shuddering, appeared close to collapsing into eternal disintegration. But then.....!!!

 Shoooom! Shoooom!

Two lashes of horrifying luminosity, one black and one white shot downward from the closing Heavenly Dao Eyes.

They streaked straight down and fell upon the remnants of Song Yan, her broken body, her soul winding its way to oblivion, and the last fading vestiges of will.

As soon as they struck her, everything disintegrated.

Her body turned to cinder.

Her soul shattered into motes of nothingness.

Her final vestige of existence was swallowed up, leaving no memory behind.

Qing Tian's unconscious body involuntary convulsed slightly, as if he could sense the effect. In some hidden region of his heart, part of him screamed.

But the Dao's will did not spare him any leniency.

The second rays further expand, covering the battlefield where defiance had shocked the heavens.

The collapsed void began to stitch itself back together, scars mended by virtue of law.

Stars that have been crushed, planes that have crumbled, even the Desolate Mystic World down below was healed of its cracks and devastation.

The grand battle… as if it never occurred.

However, while the world was mended, a suffocating truth remained, Song Yan had been erased. No body, no reincarnation, no trace. She was no longer a part of any cycle of life and death.

Far above, the Heavenly Dao Eyes shimmered in the depths of existence, dimly shining.

The last decree echoed through existence like a curse:

"Defy me, and I shall take the river of Delirium from you..."

The eyes then closed completely, vanishing into the depths.

Only Qing Tian remained, laying in the crater of devastation, his silver hair splayed out, a small body convulsing in unconscious agony. His fist were clenched so tightly that blood flowed out from his palms. His face bore the twisted expression of rage, sorrow, and indomitable defiance, even in sleep.

In the deep cosmic ocean, a man looked into the certain and smiled, with the unknown expression on his face.

"Alas...it's all depend on you."

After that, he merged into the cosmic ocean itself.
