Chapter 29 - Justice League Trinity vs. Avengers Trinity

The contents of the diary were simply fantastical!

What was this about anticipating Tony Stark being kidnapped, and that Tony Stark would become Iron Man?

She was very familiar with Tony Stark. After all, he was such a flamboyant genius; it would be hard not to have heard of him, given he was constantly plastered all over the media.

And this guy, he would become Iron Man? And then, ultimately, he would sacrifice himself?

This was just too strange.

And that Wonder Woman, her name was Diana?

She came from a place called the DC Universe? And her own universe was the Marvel Universe?

1999 Universe?

Questions kept piling up in her little head.

Not to mention, later there was Thor's arrival, Captain America's return, the Avengers assembling, and Hawkeye shooting Thor, triggering an Asgardian invasion.

All of this left her bewildered.

Then there was that so-called Zombie Marvel timeline. Thinking about the whole city turning into zombies, she found it hard to accept.

So much information intertwined, making her little head explode with data! She was originally just a regular college freshman. Because she was bitten by a mysterious spider, she gained spider-like abilities and later became Spider-Woman, using this power to fight for justice.

She thought her horizons were already broad, but she never expected that there were even greater things behind this world.

Even with her way of thinking, she couldn't help but lean towards believing it. Unless the video was fake, and everyone else was pretending, Tony Stark had to be real, right? Unless Tony Stark was also an actor hired to play a role.

But is there a company in this world that could actually get Tony Stark to act?

And she saw that it was just a thin diary, not a tablet.

But it was so magical that there was a video that could play.

Isn't this amazing enough?

Suddenly, on the last blank page of the diary, words appeared again.

This was the first time she had encountered this situation, and she couldn't help but widen her eyes.

*[The self-repairing ability of the timeline, I've seen it today. Although Tony Stark didn't go to Afghanistan and get kidnapped, he still became Iron Man and still shut down the weapons department.

Finally, I can go in and buy at the bottom. Financial freedom is just around the corner!]*

Seeing this, Gwen widened her eyes and suddenly remembered that this was the scene Lin Feng had mentioned in his diary!

Tony Stark shut down the weapons department, and now it had actually happened?

She quickly took out her phone from the backpack and checked the news. Sure enough, the headlines were all about this.

"So, it's really happening. He's entered the game!"

Tony Stark felt pretty pleased with himself after seeing that. It meant he'd completely figured out Lin Feng's thinking.

The recent strange events are really piling up. The timeline's self-correction around Tony Stark, and then Wonder Woman, Diana. She shouldn't even be in this universe, but here she is. And judging by the looks of it, she's just left Paradise Island. She's clearly still green, not the same as the Justice League's big three!

But look at Thor, one of the Avengers' big three. The poor guy's almost become a joke, what with his cursed fate. Then look at Diana, a real goddess!

"Wonder Woman, Diana again. Paradise Island. Jarvis, is there a place called Paradise Island in this world?" Tony Stark asked.

"Yes, there are many places called Paradise Island in this world. But Lin Feng shouldn't be referring to any of those. They aren't exactly secluded, and they certainly wouldn't have someone like Wonder Woman," Jarvis replied.

"The Justice League's big three, and the Avengers' big three... I feel like they're just copying each other," Tony Stark said suspiciously. "It feels like a symmetrical relationship. I know about the Avengers, that supergroup the Egghead invited me to join. So, this Justice League must be a similar league in the DC Universe Lin Feng mentioned, right?"

"These Avengers, Justice League... The names are lame! Not cool at all!"

The Egghead Tony Stark was referring to was clearly Nick Fury. He'd completely picked up the habit from Lin Feng. One time, Lin Feng casually mentioned it in his diary, and Tony Stark found the image so vivid that Nick Fury became Egghead in his mind from then on.

"And who's this Hammer Bro? What does 'cursed fate' mean?" Tony Stark understood "joke," but he didn't get the meaning of "cursed fate."

"'天煞孤星' is a Chinese term," Jarvis helpfully explained, "It refers to someone whose fate is to bring misfortune to everyone around them, ultimately leading to a lonely life!"

"So this Hammer Bro is pretty miserable!" Tony Stark mused. He was different. Sure, his parents were gone, and his uncle, Obadiah, had betrayed him, but he still had Pepper.

So, he shouldn't be considered a "lonely star"...right?

Meanwhile, the S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel looked grim. The Avengers were, after all, a project they had initiated. The problem was, the team only had two official members at the moment: Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye, Barton. A mere handful. Tony Stark wasn't interested yet, and Bruce Banner hadn't been contacted.

And now, suddenly, one of the three major figures of the Avengers had appeared?

And he was called Hammer Bro?

What a ridiculous name!

Nick Fury's expression darkened. He suddenly remembered how much Lin Feng enjoyed giving people nicknames, especially his own: Egghead!

Now, his closest confidants couldn't look at his bald head without wanting to laugh. It was all Lin Feng's fault.

So, who was this Hammer Bro?

"Hammer Bro, as the name suggests, should use a hammer. He uses a hammer and is also connected to our Avengers. Could it be... Thor? Isn't he the one who uses a hammer?" Natasha Romanoff was the quickest to react.

Everyone thought about it and the more they thought, the more sense it made.

Currently, the only superhero they knew of who used a hammer and could be connected to them was Thor.

Moreover, Thor was a legendary god, so his strength was undoubtedly formidable, at least stronger than ordinary people like Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye Barton. He was absolutely qualified to join the Avengers.

Hawkeye Barton's expression darkened a bit. Didn't this mean that he might shoot his colleague in the future?

This was awkward!
