Compared to his sturdy pants, Bruce Banner's clothes weren't so lucky.
Still, no one answered him, and the eerie atmosphere persisted outside.
When Bruce Banner stepped outside wearing a shirt he had grabbed, he found the vast streets of New York—once a bustling metropolis—eerily empty, shrouded in a strange and unsettling air.
Everyone watching from elsewhere felt heavy-hearted, already realizing that the world might be turning into a zombie-infested nightmare.
But Banner in the scene didn't know this yet. He exclaimed, "Oh my God… am I too late?"
His eyes scanned the emptiness—streets abandoned, like a ghost town. The sight made the hair on his arms stand on end.
He even wondered if Thanos had already visited Earth before him. It seemed the only explanation.
As Banner marveled at the scene, a beam of light suddenly struck nearby.
It wasn't anyone else—two members of Thanos's Black Order, Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian, were chasing him from Asgard. Clearly, Thanos had the ability for long-range teleportation.
"Come on, big guy, it's your turn!"
Banner shouted, trying to summon the Hulk.
But it was useless. The Hulk refused to emerge, remaining trapped inside Banner's body, frozen in place.
Perhaps Hulk had never encountered a being so terrifying in every aspect that it completely overpowered him.
The prideful strength of Hulk was utterly crushed; he cowered like a frightened child, unwilling to come out, no matter how Banner urged him.
"Oh no!" Banner realized the danger immediately.
And those watching outside were stunned—this wasn't the Hulk they knew.
Normally, the Hulk always wants to break free, and Banner must constantly keep calm to prevent transformation. Yet here, Hulk refused to come out despite Banner trying to provoke him.
"Black Order…"
Odin of Asgard muttered the words, his gaze icy.
The Hulk had been teleported from Asgard. He hadn't left voluntarily.
The panic clearly indicated that Thanos was coming.
The Hulk was teleported back, yet Thanos's followers pursued him relentlessly.
This meant it wasn't coincidental—they were hunting the Hulk.
Why had the Black Order pursued him from Asgard? Only one possibility: Asgard had fallen.
Odin deduced from this simple scene that Asgard was under attack by Thanos.
Future Asgard faced unimaginable disaster.
Odin's wrath erupted.
The skies above the palace darkened, thunder roared—a reflection of the king's anger.
Future Asgard was doomed, perhaps signaling Ragnarok, with Thor's older sister trying to escape and prophecies unfolding.
Now even Thanos was meddling.
Could this combination ultimately trigger Ragnarok?
Odin dared not imagine the horrifying consequences.
Thor trembled, shocked at his father's barely-contained divine power and fury. In all his memory, even when Thor had caused great chaos, Odin had never displayed such anger.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Ebony Maw continued his haughty speech: "Listen, you should feel honored…"
His grotesque face bore a twisted sense of divinity, as if performing some sacred duty.
"Come on, transform! Hurry up!"
Banner repeatedly slapped his own face, trying to anger the Hulk into emerging. Only Hulk could contend with the two members of the Black Order.
Even though Hulk wasn't a match for Thanos, two Black Order members? That was manageable.
"No!" Hulk's voice came from within Banner. He didn't want to transform.
"What do you mean no?" Banner was dumbfounded. Even the fearless Hulk could be psychologically cowed.
"You will soon die by the hands of Thanos's minions!" Ebony Maw warned.
But before he could continue, a teleportation portal appeared behind him. From the portal, a mechanical hand shot out and blasted him to the ground.
Three figures emerged from the portal, their faces obscured by light—but their outfits revealed their identities.
Iron Man Tony Stark!Doctor Strange!Sorcerer King!
Those familiar with the series immediately recognized them.
Banner's heart leapt. He smiled wildly: "Tony? Haha, you're done for!"
He hadn't yet realized the danger—he didn't know what these friends had become.
Facing Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian, Zombie Iron Man Tony Stark launched a frontal attack, while Zombie Doctor Strange and Zombie Sorcerer King prepared a teleporting ambush.
"Hahaha, that's Iron Man!" Banner still hadn't noticed the problem, laughing with relief.
The trio's coordination overwhelmed the two Black Order members.
Meanwhile, outside, Tony Stark watched the scene and felt uneasy. Hadn't these three become zombies? Yet they still operated with such skill.
Banner finally noticed. He watched the trio warily: "What… are you doing?"
He realized the horrifying truth—the three were devouring Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian.
"This is going too far!" Banner gasped. His friends had clearly changed into something unrecognizable.
Dust settled, and Zombie Iron Man rose, revealing his true face—decayed flesh, exposed bones, a monstrous visage that made Banner jump. Even prepared viewers were shocked.
What a grotesque zombie face—barely any flesh left, yellowed teeth exposed, a hunger for flesh burning in his eyes.
"Wow!" Banner instinctively exclaimed. He finally understood—his friends had become true monsters, unlike anything he had ever seen.
Not just Banner—Zombie Doctor Strange and Zombie Sorcerer King were similarly horrifying, with the Sorcerer King devouring a massive claw of Cull Obsidian.
Soon, the already-mauled Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian rose again—they too had turned into zombies.
The scene was terrifying. Even those outside the screen were shocked.
Though they expected rapid zombification, they hadn't imagined it would happen this fast.
Both Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw radiated immense threat, powerful enough to scare Hulk. One bite, and the virus had fully taken hold.
At this speed, even an antidote would arrive too late.
