Min-Jae woke up slowly, blinking at the ceiling for a few seconds before sitting up. He stretched his arms and dragged himself out of bed. When his feet touched the cold floor, he sighed and walked toward the bathroom.
He washed his face, brushed his teeth, and glanced around the room with a small smile tugging at his lips.
If anyone had told him years ago that he would one day live in a mansion like this… he would have laughed in their face. Back then, he could barely afford rent. Now, he woke up every morning in a house big enough to confuse him sometimes.
He shook his head lightly, still smiling, grabbed his brush from the counter, and walked out of the room.
The hallway was spotless. Everything lined up neatly.
As he walked toward the dining room, he heard faint sounds from the kitchen. The dining room was open and close to it, so he could see her immediately.
