Chapter 11 - He has no plan

Everyone in the hall was confused and looked at him with strange looks.

They knew about the dangerous missions he and the squad were carrying out, but all of them were outside, and nothing less than dangerous or similar.

But, quite suddenly, he announced that danger would come here, toward Osiroh.

"Danger?! What do you mean by that? What trouble have you caused, Aiden!!!"

From the top of the stairs, a girl with ginger-red hair, a double bun-like headband, and glasses shouted. Her eyes were narrow and her face was round, but she was beautiful and elegant. Even her body had curves, and she had the expression of a mischievous girl, despite being in her mid-twenties.

She always wore very elegant, flower-decorated dresses, and she loved to highlight her beauty and nobility.

Everyone paid attention to her. She descended until she approached Aiden. The sound of her heels was loud, and she walked down the hall. She was shorter than him.

"Aiden! What kind of trouble have you gotten into? What kind of danger is coming here!!" she shouted at Aiden with an angry expression, her hands on her hips.

"Yo, did you just wake up, Tianyi?" Aiden responded with sarcasm and laughter; he loved teasing her.

"Aiden!!! Stop joking!!! What danger have you put us in?! And what are those kids doing here?!" She became furious and stamped her foot on the ground, pointing at Jelian and Luzia.

"They're our new members, they're joining us!" Omer replied to Tianyi's question.

"Aiden... have you really lost your mind this time?!" When she heard Omer's voice, he slowly turned towards Aiden with a low voice, her expression turning terrifying.

"I'm serious about this. I've told you about them before, haven't I?" Aiden asked Tianyi.

"I know, but I didn't think they were kids! How could you even think of letting them go on missions with you? All of you! You don't mind about that?!"

Tianyi turned to everyone, but contrary to her expectations, they responded that they were indeed okay with them joining, and some were even fully supportive of the idea.

This confused Tianyi and made her wonder at their decision.

"I can't believe it... How could you allow this?"

"Didn't you see the video Aiden sent? Jelian is as strong as Aiden and defeated the monster all by himself," Rossi replied.

"Huh? What video?"

"Didn't i send you a video? You didn't watch it, right?" Aiden asked.

At that moment, she remembered the video clip from the conversation. Jelian had commented on it in a very funny and sarcastic way, just as he always sent clips to tease her.

That's why she thought it was just a video of something comedic or unimportant, and she didn't watch it.

Otherwise, she would have known what had happened and wouldn't have been surprised by their presence or their joining in.

Tianyi was extremely confused, sweat pouring down her face, and she felt a bit embarrassed when she denied having watched the video.

Aiden seized this moment and broke into a wide, sarcastic smile.

"Aww, isn't the secretary supposed to be aware of the situation and take care of these matters?" Aiden began to tease and harass.

This upset Tianyi, and her face turned even redder.

The two began arguing, and Aiden continued to tease her.

Meanwhile, Jelian and Luzia watched from the sidelines, and Luzia asked Zainab about her.

"Who is she?"

"Her name is Gao Tian Yi, and she's Aiden's secretary. She also helps us manage the forces while he's away or on missions." Zainab responded to Luzia's question.

"She can manage the forces!, is that mean she has powers?"

"No, she doesn't have superpowers, but she's very adept at leadership and management. We all trust her."

After some discussion and shouting like children at each other, Tianyi calmed down and took a deep breath.

"Aiden! You said there's danger. What is this danger you're talking about?" Tianyi asked calmly and formally.

"Oh, right, there really is danger. I'm not kidding." Aiden's face turned serious as he said it.

The hall fell silent, and everyone looked at him with seriousness and interest.

"There's an army that will definitely come here, and a fierce battle will break out between us. If we don't confront them, Osiroh will be completely destroyed, or maybe worse," Aiden announced the danger.

This confused everyone, and some of them had worried expressions upon hearing Aiden's announcement.

"Army... you mean Calvin's army?" Cohen thought for a moment.

"Exactly!, As expected of you, Cohen".

"Calvin's army? But why? What did you do to them to make them come to us?" Tianyi asked, confused and worried at the same time.

Aiden didn't answer, but turned to Jelian, and everyone else looked at Jelian.

Jelian was confused when they looked at him, and he didn't understand why they were doing that. Even they didn't understand what Jelian had to do with it.

"Oh, right! You said Jelian killed Andrei!" Bianchi remembered Aiden's words from yesterday.

At that moment, everyone realized what had happened. Their faces grimaced, some sighed, and some looked at him with disgust.

"Aiden... why did you bring trouble to our house? You should have left him!" Tianyi sighed, upset by the situation.

But Aiden turned to her. He didn't say anything, but his gaze was angry, which scared Tianyi, and she began to sweat.

"Right... I'm sorry..." Tianyi apologized sincerely in a low voice.

Aiden sighed and said, "I know what you all thinking, but what happened happened, and there was no solution to it from the start."

"Then why did you help him kill Andrei? You could have just fled without a fight," Cohen asked.

"I literally didn't do anything. I had found the bodies of Calvin's soldiers when I first came to Corredeth, and perhaps that's why Andrei and his squad came there. Before I could do anything, he was already killed by Andrei".

Cohen understood but continued, saying, "Didn't you leave anyone from the battalion behind? Maybe if no one escaped, Calvin wouldn't know what was happening."

"Not entirely sure if anyone escaped, but I was there. Even if he didn't, Calvin would suspect Andrei's disappearance, and from this moment on, I really don't know if he'll come here or not."

"Huh?!!? You don't know? You don't know if they'll come or not. So why are you saying there's danger coming to us?!" Tianyi was surprised by Aiden's statement.

But Aiden stepped closer and addressed Tianyi with seriousness and reprimand: "So what if he comes? What will we do then? Will you be prepared if a huge army comes to Osiroh?"

Tianyi was confused and didn't respond.

"So I'm going to go, assuming they're coming for us. We all have to be fully prepared and ready if they get close. It won't be an easy battle, so we all have to do our best!" Aiden turned, looked at everyone, and addressed them formally.

Everyone listened to him and agreed. Everyone was excited and determined to fight and protect their home from the impending danger.

"Yeah, well.. What are we gonna do? When will they come?!" Cohen asked sarcastically and casually, seeing the excitement and the fact that they hadn't fully grasped the situation.

After Aiden realized it, he hesitantly replied, "Well... I don't know."

This frustrated everyone after their excitement, and they even looked at him with strange, disgusted looks.

"Huh?!! How come you don't have a plan when you're the one who said we have to be prepared and ready?!" Tianyi got angry and shouted at him.

"I haven't thought of a plan yet. I just came from the mission."

"Then why did you make us so excited for no reason?!! Ah, you're really unbelievable! Aren't you the leader of the group? Don't you know what you're doing?!!"

"Ahhh..." Aiden tried to think out of his situation and said the first thing that came to mind: "We're going to train!!!"

Everyone looked at him strangely, and the entire group thought the same thing.

"Training? Since when have we been training? You just throw them straight into missions," Tianyi said coldly, and everyone agreed with her.

"Then from this moment on, we'll start training and cancel any missions in the coming days. Ahh... I'll take the new members with us and train them."

Everyone still looked at him strangely and disgustedly. The group knew he had no plan, so he made up an excuse like training or something.

"You said you'd train the new members? Maybe he'd help Noronha, but you'd also train the boy who single-handedly killed the giant snake?" Cohen said incredulously.

"He's absolutely right. I don't need training. I can fight at any time. I even defeated you." Jelian agreed and shared his opinion.

"Oh, you think so? If stealth is your style, I'll disappoint you and say that it's never going to work in a war or a battle."

"It doesn't matter. I defeated you, and that won't change. I'm the one who'll survive in the end," he pointed to himself proudly.

"So why don't we fight again? Face to face. If you win, I'll leave you alone, but if you lose, you'll work for me and train for me. What do you think?"

"Huh? Do you think I'm afraid of you?"

"Yes, I think so."

Jelian became angry after hearing this and agreed to fight Aiden.

Aiden then ordered the forces to prepare fully, to prepare if they were running low on weapons or ammunition, and to try to further strengthen their capabilities and prepare them psychologically in case anything happened.

Most importantly, he tasked Tianyi and Cohen, along with the observers in front of the surveillance screen, with gathering information and learning anything about Calvin's army, and attempting to devise a counter-plan or anticipate future events.

As for Aiden, he took Luzia and Jelian and left the hall.

He had already driven the vehicle and arrived at the huge rugby field.

Because of the darkness, he turned on the flashlights, but half of them were broken, revealing the outline of the field and the grassy ground.

It was taller than usual, to the point where the grass reached above the heels of their feet, and strange weeds appeared on it.

The stadium's stands were completely destroyed, and all the concrete surfaces were shattered or destroyed.

This was the old, deserted look of the stadium, outdated because no one had played or cared for it since the Great Disaster.

Now the three of them entered the stadium until they reached its center.

The lighting was good, and despite the few spotlights, it made the place clearly visible.

Jelian and Aiden stood facing each other, with Luzia standing to the side at a distance.

"Um, Aiden? What should I do?" Luzia asked.

Aiden turned to him and tried to think of something. After a while, he said, "How long can you stay hidden?"

"Uh... well... I don't really know. I haven't tried it."

"Then do it. Let's see how long you can last. If you stop, let me know right away."

"Okay." She immediately stood up straight, closed her eyes, and concentrated. In an instant, her entire body disappeared.

But from Jelian and Aiden's perspective, they could see features of her body appearing and disappearing simultaneously, and they didn't look further, lest they get a headache.

Aiden looked at Jelian and said, "You didn't bring your dagger, did you? Use these."

In the past, Jelian had brought his daggers with him every time he left his house; he had to be ready at all times.

But this time, he had left as soon as he woke up, so he hadn't brought his equipment with him.

Aiden handed him two military daggers similar to Jelian's, but slightly smaller and of a different design.

"Ready?"

Jelian nodded and assumed his usual combat stance.

The same went for Aiden.
