A second later a pop of displaced air signaled the arrival of Mage. Steel was only a moment longer to arrive in a blur of motion.
Harry analyzed the situation at the speed only his Asuran Kryptonian mind could process at. The warrior wizard's senses scanned the attack site and conferred over his neural link with Alice and all of the information her scans provided.
"Clark, get the case. I've got the girl," Harry barked out before apparating beside the black monstrosity.
Patricia watched as Mage appeared beside the creature and delivered a powerful blow to the side of her attacker's head, sending the beast hurtling several hundred feet into the fields to the right of her car. Then Mage was beside her, ripping her crumpled door clear of its mounting.
"Thank you," Patricia spoke gratefully as she was helped out of the vehicle.
"No problem Miss Swann," Harry assured as he helped the attractive young woman out of the ruined car.
"I assume you were coming to deliver this to us?" Clark questioned as he appeared on the driver's side of the car with the case in his hand, having already x-rayed the container to determine the contents.
"Yes...my father found it recently and decided it was time for you two to have it after he studied it for a bit," Patricia explained just as the two Kent brothers looked in the same direction.
"Take her to the farm," Harry ordered his brother as he launched himself into the air at the oncoming beast.
The two powerful beings met in an impact that sent sounds of thunder crashing into the surrounding space. As they were flying towards the ground under Harry's power the Asuran took the opportunity to run a quick scan of his opponent's mind. The beast had some mental protection but the telepathic enchanter learned enough before his efforts were blocked to find out the beast was Kryptonian in origin and codenamed Doomsday. Doomsday was a project designed to be the perfect warrior using genetic manipulation and nanotechnology. The alien warrior had arrived on Earth at the same time as Clark. But unlike the youngest Kent son Doomsday had grown up as a normal human, no powers manifesting until recently. Lionel Luthor had known what Doomsday was and captured the previously human seeming incarnation of Doomsday named Davis Bloom.
Lionel brainwashed Davis to work for the billionaire before having his scientists bring about Davis' transformation into Doomsday. Doomsday was sent after Patricia to get the knowledge stone.
Harry punched Doomsday in the face as the two grappling warriors neared the ground before floating up in the air. Despite plowing into the ground, Doomsday was almost immediately back up and preparing to leap towards the mage. The Asuran male let the beast jump before apparating behind the rapidly rising warrior. The sorcerer flew up after Davis and drove into Davis' back with both fists. Doomsday swiped behind at the reality traveler with his clawed paws but when that proved futile the soldier twisted around and brought his knee up into the green eyed superhero's jaw. The bony spur on Doomsday's knee actually cut a deep gash on Harry's cheek.
"Alright enough of this shit," Harry growled. "Alice catch," The Asuran ordered before pushing his opponent away.
Almost immediately a puddlejumper controlled by Harry's A.I. watch snapped the flailing enemy up in a hard light force-field. Doomsday flailed against the powerful shields to no avail. Alice quickly piloted the vessel into space on a path towards the nearest and most recent active
quasar. A trip through a wormhole which transcended time as well as space saw the Kryptonian originated creature being annihilated in one of the most destructive events in the universe.
Alice used her subspace sensors to make sure the creature was destroyed while Harry descended to the ground where he found several of his lovers cleaning up the wreckage of Patricia's car while Clark was staring at the elder Kent brother intently.
"So brother...care to tell me what that was that picked up that creature," Clark probed.
Harry could have made up any number of believable explanations but was tired of keeping his brother in the dark. The warlock walked up to Clark and placed his fingers on the younger man's forehead. Clark grasped his head as a flood of images assaulted his mind sent from the telepath. When the flow of knowledge ceased the pure Kryptonian looked at his older brother with awe.
"So...you're from another reality, or at least part of you is. I'm not as upset as I once would have been at that revelation and that you're not really my biological brother. I know enough now to know that you're the brother of my heart," Clark spoke firmly.
"Wow bro...how did you get so wise," Harry teased with an easy grin. "It had to rub off of you at some point Harry," Clark answered seriously.
"Thanks bro. Now let's go home...I have another potential mate to get to know," Harry suggested with a grin as the pair of superheroes raced back to the farm, the wizard's women having cleaned up the wreckage by then.
"So Lionel Luthor was going to have me killed and steal the stone," Patricia summed up Harry's explanation as she sat in his comfortable study beneath the Kent farm in an impressive underground installation.
"Yep," Harry confirmed as he sat in a comfortable chair facing the attractive Patricia.
"What do you think I should do about this?" Patricia asked curiously, interested in the handsome superhero's advice.
"Well you don't need to do anything. Oliver Queen just found a lot of data dumped onto his computer through untraceable means which proves Lionel Luthor had his parents murdered," Harry answered with a feral grin.
"Oh my, aren't you the tricky one," Patricia mused with an equally feral grin.
"So now that you've delivered the stone what do you plan to do?" Harry inquired curiously.
"Well after you gave my dad that younger body along with Margot the two lovebirds have been sailing around the world living the good life," Patricia explained, referring to Harry's gifting Virgil Swann and the elder billionaire's long time lover with cloned bodies as a reward for all of Virgil's assistance. "I was kind of hoping I could stick around Smallville and work as a liaison between you, Clark, and my father along with helping out in any way I can."
The perceptive mage detected the hopeful note in Patricia's tone along with her emotions via his empathic abilities.
"Patricia I would like that very much. Sign this contract which will prevent you from telling anybody certain secrets you learn here without my permission and you can stay in one of the apartments in my home here," Harry offered.
Patricia quickly examined the very simple contract and signed it. The magically binding agreement glowed for a moment to those with energy sight before activating fully and becoming binding.
"Excellent, Now I believe a tour is in order," Harry declared before standing up and showing Patricia around the areas of the underground complex she would have access to unless she became one of his lovers, in which case she would have access to more.
Harry fully hoped Patricia would become one of his mates in time because she was quite attractive.
Two days later...
"Are you sure this won't harm us?" Patricia queried hesitantly as she stepped into the round chamber within the Kawachi cave.
"Yes I'm sure, Patricia," Raya answered the younger woman reassuringly. "I did help build this place after all," Raya pointed out.
"Ok," Patricia Swann spoke softly as she joined the women arrayed around the cave.
Patricia was surprised at the number of women in the two Kent brothers' lists of lovers. But looking at the gorgeous Harry and Clark Kent, Patricia realized she shouldn't have been surprised at all.
"Ok...here goes nothing," Clark declared as he dropped the last piece of the crystal into the console.
There was a blinding flash of light and all the beings in the cave felt themselves transported away.
"Where are we?" Patricia questioned as she shivered at the cold environment around her.
"We're at the north pole," Lana informed the Swann heiress while Chloe conjured a fur coat for the still human Patricia.
"Throw it Clark," Raya urged the younger Kent brother.
With a nod of understanding Clark tossed the crystal far into the distance. Moments after the Kryptonian relic touched down the ground began to shake. Those with x-ray vision (everyone but Patricia and Jonathan) gazed through the ground to watch as the ice crystals were transformed into hard mineral crystals which began to rise up into the air hundreds of feet as massive towers.
"Wicked," Kyla whispered loud enough for all present to hear.
"Finally...a bit of home," Aeythyr muttered from her position next to Clark.
"Well son...you'd better go first," Jonathan Kent suggested to Clark, finally having been told of Harry's true origins and no longer under the impression that his two adopted sons were blood brothers.
"Follow in a minute," Clark suggested before blurring off with super-speed.
"That never gets old," Patricia declared, causing the others to laugh.
"Well it's time for us to go meet Jor El," Martha announced a few moments later.
Martha helped Jonathan to the fortress while Harry helped Patricia. Jodi, Karen, and Clark's other non-Kryptonian lovers were back in Smallville holding down the farm.
"You guys, this is amazing! Jor El is going to teach me how to be a Kryptonian scientist," Clark announced with a grin when his family landed.
"That's better than what his original disposition was programmed for," Raya mind spoke to her man.
"Yes...thank you for letting me know about that," Harry responded to his lover.
When Raya had informed the Potter Lord about the tests Jor El had set up for Clark, Harry had reprogrammed the A.I. within the Kryptonian crystal to a disposition closer to that possessed by Alice. In other words Jor El would be a lot more helpful.
"That's great son," Jonathan told Clark.
From there the group of Kents and various family members were introduced to Jor El. The A.I. was very surprised to learn about Dahni and what she represented. While the interactions were taking place Harry was mentally processing the vast database he had collected from the crystal.
Many Kryptonian technologies were inferior to the Asuran designs the reality traveler possessed but there were also areas of study the Asurans hadn't even begun to research. This lack of research by the incredibly old race might have been surprising if one didn't take into account the fact that there existed different entities, species, and configurations of spacetime in the Kryptonian universe than in the Asuran home universe. An enjoyable day was spent exploring the wonders of the fortress while the billionaire superhero made plans for the future.
