Godolkin University.

Kevin was no stranger to this name.

It was The Deep's alma mater, and the cradle for most Superheroes.

The university was divided into many colleges, the most famous of which was Lamplighter's College for Crime Fighting, named after Lamplighter.

Many of The Seven's heroes graduated from here.

Maeve, A-Train, The Deep…

So, Madelyn's statement that it was Kevin's alma mater was completely accurate.

But Kevin couldn't understand why a promotional video suddenly required him to go to Godolkin University; it didn't seem to fit The Deep's persona either.

Holding the promotional script in his hand, Kevin pondered for a moment before asking,

"Why… Godolkin University?"

"Most of the reasons are here; Mr. Edgar asked me to give this to you, and I don't have the right to view it, but I do know part of the reason.

"You should know the father and daughter, Lily Shetty and Paul Shetty, right?"

Madelyn suddenly brought up two names.

These two names were slightly unfamiliar to Kevin, yet he seemed to have heard them somewhere before, sounding somewhat familiar.

Kevin was still pondering when Madelyn, seeing his expression, reminded him,

"Flight 37."

"Oh, it's them…"

After Madelyn's reminder, Kevin instantly recalled that there was indeed such a father and daughter among the survivors of Flight 37.

The father was around forty years old.

The daughter was eleven, about the same age as Maya, the girl who had questioned Homelander at the previous event.

Kevin had an impression of them because the little girl seemed to really like him.

Or rather, she really liked The Deep and was a loyal fan of The Deep.

When Kevin went to comfort the survivors that time, she always pestered Kevin to take a photo with her, which was why Kevin remembered her name.

Recalling the identities of these two, Kevin then asked in confusion,

"What… happened to them?"

"I have to say, The Deep, you are really lucky. Do you know the name of the current president of Godolkin University?"

"I don't recall; I haven't paid attention to these things since I graduated."

"It's alright, I'll tell you. Her name is Indira Shetty."

"…Shetty?"

"Exactly. Indira is Lily's mother and Paul's wife. One of the reasons for asking you to promote at the university this time is her strong request."

Madelyn revealed the reason, or at least part of the reason, for Kevin's visit to Godolkin University.

And Kevin finally realized how much he, a small butterfly who had transmigrated into the The Boys world, had changed with his frail wings.

Indira Shetty, a renowned Psychiatrist, is the current president of Godolkin University.

She is also the manager of The Woods, Vought's research facility, and… one of the 'villains' in the spin-off "Gen V."

Kevin, who originally would have had no interaction with her, now found himself intertwined with her.

He was now this president's benefactor, a great benefactor.

At least for now, that seemed to be the case.

Vought's promotional video, being related to the group's recent overall strategy, had a very tight shooting schedule.

From project approval to script drafting and then to shooting, the entire process probably took less than a week.

The filming process for most of the other Seven members had already begun on the second day.

Maeve was filming a documentary about punishing evil and promoting good in the city, while A-Train was filming his daily training.

Starlight's segment focused on her childhood and her journey to becoming a member of The Seven.

Black Noir was cultivating his hobbies, which sounded like it wouldn't be very exciting.

Translucent's absence was not discussed for now.

Finally, Homelander and The Deep.

One was in a 'childhood home' meticulously crafted by Vought, reciting false lines and self-indulgently speaking about non-existent childhood experiences.

The other…

Appeared at the entrance of Godolkin University, receiving a warm welcome from the Godolkin juniors.

"The Deep!!!"

"Oh my god, it's The Deep from The Seven!"

"He looked over! He waved at me! Ahhh—!!"

After the recent image change, movie promotions, and the plane incident's publicity, Kevin's popularity now rivaled Homelander, who was number one in the team.

As a result, as soon as he arrived at Godolkin University, the surrounding students screamed like crazy fans, picking up their phones to film him.

Ashley, the temporary agent responsible for all of Kevin's public relations this time, led a team of security guards, doing her best to intercept the overly excited fan-students.

"Please stay back, do not touch The Deep, thank you, stay back!"

She blocked people from getting close while leading the way.

Behind her, Kevin experienced for the first time what those young idol heartthrobs felt.

People screamed wherever he went, a crowd gathered to take photos wherever he went, and many young girls tried to get close to him, just to touch Kevin's skin.

The scene was indeed crazy.

But this treatment was indeed very easy to make one feel conceited.

Surrounded by the crowd, Kevin entered the Godolkin University teaching building and walked directly to the President's office.

The university president, Indira Shetty, and Kevin's 'mentor,' Richard Brinkhoff, had been waiting for a long time.

Indira was a middle-aged woman nearing forty. She had dark skin and looked somewhat like she was of Latin descent, very beautiful and very young.

At least from her appearance alone, she certainly didn't look like a woman nearing forty.

Beside Indira, a white-haired old man with a white beard and kind features sat there.

He was Richard Brinkhoff, a renowned professor at Lamplighter Crime Fighting College, and the esteemed teacher of Maeve, A-Train, and The Deep.

He was the one who discovered Maeve, A-Train, and The Deep. The Deep's ability to become a member of The Seven, graduating sixth in his class, was largely due to his efforts.

The two influential figures of the university had been waiting for Kevin here for a long time.

Upon seeing Kevin arrive, Professor Brink was the first to welcome him. He walked up to Kevin and gave him a big hug:

"Oh, Kevin! My most outstanding student! It's really been a long time!"

"Professor, long time no see."

Kevin smiled and hugged Professor Brink. They patted each other's backs, and then Kevin released him, greeting him,

"How have you been recently, Professor?"

"Not bad, you know, my job isn't particularly difficult, but recently I've discovered quite a few promising talents with the potential to join The Seven. If you have time, you can come and see them with me."

Professor Brink extended an invitation to Kevin.

Kevin recalled the 'Firecracker' from "Gen V," slightly narrowed his eyes, and casually responded,

"Okay, I'd be delighted."

"Alright, Professor Brink, I understand your feelings about seeing an excellent student, but let's talk about work now."

Brink and Kevin were exchanging pleasantries when Indira, seeing that the time was right, smiled and interjected.

Kevin also cooperatively looked at Indira:

"You must be Ms. Shetty? It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am."

"It's also a great pleasure to meet you, Mr. Moskowitz. Thanks to you, my husband and daughter are safe and sound."

"No, no, that's not just my credit alone. Homelander and Queen Maeve are also benefactors who saved your husband and daughter."

"Perhaps, but in my opinion, Mr. Moskowitz, you are the true hero."

Indira responded very sincerely.

Kevin was quite surprised.

He had thought that Indira's words were merely flattery and not genuine, but looking at the eyes of the dark-skinned beauty in front of him, Kevin realized that she seemed to be serious.

She truly regarded Kevin as a hero and genuinely thanked Kevin from the bottom of her heart.

In contrast, Indira seemed to have no particular feelings for Homelander and Maeve, nor did she have any intention of thanking them.

However, even though Indira showed goodwill towards Kevin, Kevin still maintained basic politeness.

After all, her overly radical behavior in the "Gen V" storyline, wanting to destroy all Supes, naturally put her at odds with all Supes.

Kevin was also a Supe, so he was naturally a little worried that Indira might target him, which is why he maintained the minimum level of vigilance.

Kevin maintained a polite smile and sat down with the two on the sofa in the President's office, beginning to discuss the promotional issues for this time.

Indira spoke first:

"My plan is to first show a video of Mr. Moskowitz when he was in school, and then compare it with the current Mr. Moskowitz to highlight Mr. Moskowitz's efforts during his school days. Professor Brink will provide the corresponding video materials for this."

"'Kevin was a very motivated child during his time at school.' I'll say that during the interview. You should be fine with that, Kevin?"

Professor Brink asked with a smile.

Kevin also smiled and agreed:

"Of course, no problem. Professor, you know me best, so what you say will certainly be fine."

But it was actually a lie.

The original The Deep was actually no different from most America college students in school.

Skipping classes, attending group parties, going to bars to drink and smoke weed—The Deep had done all these things.

The only thing he hadn't done, perhaps, was sleep with female students.

This guy was too self-conscious about the gills on his chest and had hardly dated anyone during college.

Hmm… referring only to humans.

As for aquatic creature lovers, there were indeed a few.

For example, a certain dolphin in an aquarium…

Others might not know these things, but Professor Brinkhoff knew them very well.

But he certainly wouldn't say these things in front of the camera.

Therefore, those fabricated lies became the only 'truth' in the documentary.

After chatting with the two for a while, when the conversation was over, Professor Brink got up to leave:

"I still have a class later. You two continue talking. Once the company's production assistant arrives, we can officially start filming."

"Do you need my help as a teaching assistant? Maybe give the kids a little surprise?"

Kevin casually suggested.

Professor Brink smiled and refused: "Oh, in that case, I probably wouldn't be able to teach the class. Let's talk about it next time, Kevin."

After saying that, Professor Brink left the President's office.

Once he was gone, Kevin looked at Indira.

Meeting Kevin's gaze, Indira was about to speak:

"Mr. Moskowitz, I'll take you first…"

"Ms. Shetty."

Kevin interrupted Indira and said,

"Let's discuss other matters later. First, take me to see The Woods. You understand, right? This is Mr. Edgar's instruction."

At the mention of The Woods, Indira's usually calm expression finally changed.
