After acquiring the Icicle Badge, Ciel made his way to Lake Acuity where he found Barry on the ground crying after being beaten by Commander Jupiter in a battle.
"Honestly, I forgot how much of a crybaby this guy was." Ciel muttered before stepping forward.
Quickly concluding the fight with Commander Jupiter, Ciel flies to Veilstone City where he made his way to the warehouse. Locating the key, he made his way into Team Galactic's base.
After clearing out the base and dealing with all the people present, he left, making his way to Mt. Coronet. Making his way up to Spear Pillar, where he beat down Cyrus and captured Dialga.
Once the battle had concluded, Ciel flew to Valor Lakefront and went to Sunnyshore City. After talking to Flint of the Elite Four, Ciel trained his team a bit before challenging the Sunnyshore City Gym.

Ciel found himself exiting Sunnyshore City Gym, Beacon Badge in hand. With a sigh, he found himself surfing to Victory Road.
Making his way through perilous caves, battling vicious Pokemon. Training extensively as he soon arrives at the Pokemon League.

Entering the Pokemon League, Ciel beat up Barry one final time before taking on the Elite Four.
Through the work of Infernape and Lucario, Aaron went down. Up next was Bertha who was defeated by Roserade and Milotic. After that was Flint who was beaten by both Infernape and Milotic. Lastly was Lucian who was beaten by Infernape and Roserade.
After that, was the battle with Cynthia.
Starting against Spiritomb, Clefable set up a Light Clay boosted Light Screen and Reflect, before striking Spiritomb down with a Dazzling Gleam.
Up next was Cynthia's Roserade who was quickly taken down by a Brave Bird from Staraptor.
Following up was Gastrodon, who Ciel countered with his own Roserade. Striking it down with an Energy Ball.
After Gastrodon was Lucario, whom Ciel countered with Infernape. One shotting Lucario with Flamethrower.
Up next was Milotic, whom Ciel switched Infernape for Clefable, who struck Milotic down with a Thunderbolt.
Lastly was Garchomp, who was countered by Ciel's Milotic, who launched an Ice Beam at Garchomp. One shotting it, and claiming the position of Champion.

"Heh." Ciel smiled at the two Pokemon before him.
