"Ding dong~"
The doorbell rang.
"Why is no one answering?" Kenji Sagami took off his sunglasses, looking puzzled.
"I think it'd be better to just break the door open," Tsuneo said, glancing at the setup outside the door.
With both a bringer of plagues and a god of death present, Yoko's friend was likely in grave danger.
"No, there's no need..." Yoko let out a dry laugh, feeling there was no need to be so tense.
"Click!" Uncle Mouri twisted the doorknob with a slight force, his face full of bewilderment.
"It wasn't even locked..."
Just as the Sleeping Detective turned his head to speak, a female voice suddenly came from inside the house, "Take that!"
A tennis racket, like a fly swatter, smacked down directly.
The strings of the racket snapped one by one, directly ensnaring Uncle Mouri's head.
Uncle Mouri sat on the ground, wearing a unique racket ornament around his neck, utterly bewildered this time.
The scene fell silent for a moment...
"Iron Head Skill?" Tsuneo asked curiously, twirling the racket around the other's neck.
Normally, it would be difficult to even snap one or two strings.
"Stop playing," Uncle Mouri said, a bit embarrassed as he sat on the ground.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Mouri. You came all this way to my party, and I ended up hitting you."
The beautiful young lady in a green dress with short brown hair apologized, and Uncle Mouri immediately burst into hearty laughter.
"No, no, it's an honor! To be hit on the head by you, the most popular female star, others would yearn for it," Uncle Mouri said, rubbing his head and smiling as if nothing had happened.
"There have been too many stalkers lately. Every time I look out the keyhole, I see men I don't know, which is why I..." Kaoru Kusano explained.
Conan, with his hands in his pockets, looked at her speechlessly.
If she wanted to meet Uncle, she should have at least seen his face in newspapers or on TV before...
"Speaking of which, Yoko, where's Tsuneo-san?" Kaoru Kusano noticed that the super handsome detective hadn't been by her side for a while.
Indeed, he looked much better in person than in newspaper photos!
"I think he might be..." Yoko smiled, pointing towards the living room.
The aroma of food was wafting from that direction, right...?
"Mr. Makuma, I ate this dish too quickly; I couldn't taste it," Tsuneo said, holding a plate and tilting his head towards Atsushi Makuma.
From that expression, anyone with eyes could tell what he wanted to do.
"Then, then you can try this for me," Atsushi Makuma, who seemed a bit dull with his glasses, handed Tsuneo a small bowl of something, seemingly preoccupied.
"Heh heh," Tsuneo took the small bowl, helped carry the plate into the living room, and then walked back into the kitchen.
Everyone standing at the living room entrance: ...
"He ate two pieces of cake in the car earlier," Uncle Mouri said speechlessly.
This repairman always looks for the cook first wherever he goes...
Conan glanced at everyone and chuckled.
I'm not surprised at all, because I'm used to it.
"Oh, by the way, Yoko, you told me last time that Tsuneo-san is still single, right?" Kaoru Kusano asked with a smile.
Upon hearing this, the Mouri family of three all tilted their heads to look at Kenji Sagami.
Isn't this an engagement party for these two?
Surely there won't be some melodramatic scene playing out?
"That's right," Yoko nodded.
"Did you misunderstand something???" Kenji Sagami, seeing the two girls go aside to whisper, turned to look at the Mouri family.
"No, no, we weren't thinking anything at all!" Uncle Mouri laughed loudly, shaking his head.
Ran: ...
Conan: ...
He truly hoped this person's clumsy acting would never appear again.
"Oh, by the way, you two also appeared together in 'Detective Samonji,' didn't you?" Ran timely changed the subject, asking about Kaoru Kusano and Kenji Sagami starring together in the drama series.
Before Yoko and Kaoru, who were walking back, could speak, someone suddenly twisted the doorknob and walked in from outside.
"You're right. I was planning to broadcast that show tonight, and while congratulating them, also properly tease this sweet young couple."
Yukie Yatake, wearing a purple gauze dress and exuding a domineering aura, walked in, smiling and jesting.
Even Tsuneo, who was using tasting dishes as an excuse to fill his stomach, inexplicably ran to the living room entrance to watch.
Upon seeing these people, the repairman finally remembered what was about to happen in this idol apartment.
"What, do you like this type?" Conan looked up at Tsuneo.
The age seems about right, I support you!
Get a wife soon, have a child, and stop running around at night.
"No, the only actress I watch is Yukiko Kudo," Tsuneo said, shaking his head.
"She's not here, so telling me is useless," Conan slanted a look at him.
What's the use of flattering me like this?
"Truly a useless son," Tsuneo complained.
I memorized so many of Yukiko's works; couldn't you just relay it?
Right, this guy probably talks to his parents even less than I do.
"Why do you have such flashy nails again, Yuki?" Kenji Sagami asked with a smile.
"These nails aren't bad, right?" Yukie Yatake held out her hand to look at her red fake nails.
The small yellow flower on the nail should be a sunflower, Tsuneo wasn't quite sure.
"I'm going to continue tasting dishes," the repairman told the famous detective as he held the small bowl.
"Be careful not to overeat!" Conan whispered in a tone he used when speaking to Genta.
At the entrance, Uncle Mouri surveyed the three and said:
"It's such a pity. We have Yoko Okino, Kaoru Kusano, and Yukie Yatake. If just one more person came, we'd have a complete set of four."
Everyone chuckled and was turning to go back inside when.
"What, who's calling me?"
The door opened, and a clear, cold female voice drifted in.
She had a cigarette in her mouth, her arms crossed, a jacket draped over her shoulders, and leaned against the doorway, looking at everyone.
Terumi Hoshino, super cool.
"Whoa!" Uncle Mouri's DNA was activated.
The quartet was complete!
"Terumi-nee, you're here too," Kaoru Kusano said with her hands behind her back, in a nonchalant tone and expression, greeting her.
"Yes, Yoko told me I had to come no matter what. If it's inconvenient, I'll just leave."
The two looked as if they had some conflict.
"Well, it's so rare for the four of us from the Earth Ladies' Team to be together!" Yoko glanced at the two and quickly stepped forward to pull Terumi Hoshino in.
"Did that person come too?" Terumi Hoshino turned to Yoko and asked.
"Didn't you mention it to me last time? I definitely had to help you invite him!" Yoko said, winking.
Heh heh...
