Chapter 1 - The End of the fucking World

The atmosphere on earth was strangely calm, even though it was night time the sky was illuminated by the cosmic colors. Cities were bustling with activities, Some were praying, Some were in fear and some had made peace with the situation. Under a tree on the bench was sitting a normal looking boy.

He was drinking a coffee in a suit made for corporate slaves. Infront was a lake which was looking as if the water has been touched by the cosmos, He occasionally looked at the scenic view Infront of him as if trying to come in terms with something.

The world was coming to an End. Two days ago the scientists of NASA said that every star in the universe was dying, They said The sun is going to explode with every star every planet and matter was starting to collapse onto itself creating a universal singularity, They said they had no Idea why is this happening 'It is not logical' they said

'Just when I was ready to get onto my own fucking feet'

It felt as if the world was giving him a big fuck you. He did have a pretty bad luck throughout his life.

When he was four, On his birthday his parents got in an accident trying to get him a birthday gift. He was adopted by his Grandparents which had small house and cafe in a village, Both loved him very much, They got him into school even though their financial condition wasn't very good. when he was 14 he decided to get a part-time job in a grocery store, He used to go to school in morning and go to job in the afternoon. And at the end of his shift he helped his grandpa close down cafe.

Later when he got into college his grandparents passed away, and the cafe was sold for his further education. Once again, He had to work tirelessly to pay rent and to cover expenses of daily life.

Just three days ago he got a job in a fairly big company and now the world was coming to an end.

"I haven't even got to explore my love life"

Ding!!

His phone rang out. He looked at the notification bar.

[Quest to end Finality: Chapter 2000-A False God's Ending]

'So it's finally ending huh'

'I have been reading this novel since I got into seventh grade, It was a decent novel nothing groundbreaking. It was about the protagonist getting on a quest to find his mother who has disappeared when he was 10, and gets entangled with series of events that end with facing a God, actually today was the showdown between them. The novel had pretty interesting power-system. instead of mana, It had Threads. Each person had a thread connected to their soul, Thread can be of Anything from Thread of Flame to Thread of Time or even abstract concepts such as Hope. Onto the Each person had minimum 1 or maximum 3 threads connected to them. which made the novel pretty interesting.

He sipped the last bit of coffee left in the can and throwed the can towards the trash bin, Suddenly the world quaked for a second and the can missed the mark and rolled on the ground.

'Urgh'

He got up, picked the can and put it in the bin.

Then he looked at the sky and a bright Flash of light swallowed everything.

In a strange place what looked like place made of ethereal threads a calm and serene voice resounded

"Someone partially connected with a thread"

***

A small dull white ball appeared at what looked like a limbo passage between worlds.

"How am I alive? Am I in Hell??, Why cant I see anything?"

"Shit, Where am I? What is this place?"

"Hello, Is someone there? Hello"

'Fuck!! What is this supposed to be? I cant feel anything. Should I try to move?'

'Hmmm. I am able to move. Why does this type of shit needs to happen with me?'

***

'how much time has passed?, I have been walking for forever'

Suddenly his vision shifted and the next second he was in a place that looked like the cosmos itself, But it was made of threads as if the reality was woven by threads.

woah!! where the hell am I?

"Hello, Is Someone here?" Is someone messing with me or am I going crazy?

Just then a calm serene voice resounded in his head

"Hello, Alexander."
